Ordered curly fries and a cheesesteak sub. I am embarrassed for them for being comfortable enough to serve such swill. The fries were so burned they were blackened and the sub was supposed to come with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, peppers, onions, mayo, mustard and ketchup, which wasnt a special order. That's how they are supposed to prepare it as advertised on doordash. It literally has four tiny strips of lettuce (yes I counted), as if they accidentally fell in the sandwich, no tomatoes, no onions, and I don't even wanna talk about the cheese situation. I ordered food thru Grub Hub. I spoke to someone who called from the restaurant 20 minutes after the order who asked for directions. 2 hours later, still waiting for the food. Even called and someone said 10 to 15 minutes more. That wad 30 minutes ago. Still no food. Will be cold or over warmed in warming bag they use for delivery. Initially I was hesitant to order from here because there's little reviews and barely any customer pictures. But I must say what I ordered was good! Ordered online and specified what I wanted in my cheesesteak (otherwise it comes with an odd combo of things). The meat is good quality and filling, it was neat and exactly what I requested, and the fries were good. Wasn't exactly overloaded as labeled but it was enough for me. No complaints! I did learn ordering online you are charged more, no fault of the restaurant, the online 3rd party charges additional for their cut . So word to the wise call in your order or order in person. I ordered their "over stuffed" sandwiches, cheeseburger and Italian steak... What a joke. For $15.99, you'd expect more than one half of a burger per side of the sub, which was over cooked. ----ZERO STARS--- This would be my first review concerning an establishment. I've usually just read reviews but never commented or rated. This must be done. My family is TOTALLY dissatisfied, disappointed and disgusted. If there is a reality show to be created assisting with local neighborhood eatery rehabilitations and with business etiquette training it should be called "Carry-out Rescue". Tonight was the 3rd and very last time ordering from Big Papa Pizza. The first time ever trying this establishment, our close friends visited from out of town and with their suggestion they discovered this place. They ordered and picked up the pizza, and we all can say it wasn't half bad. Not our usually Pizza Bolis though (-we are non-pork eaters) I decided to keep the menu with all of our local spots with intentions on ordering in the near future. The second time at a later date, we hosted some really hungry teenagers and young adults at our home. We decided to order from here again. It was pizza...they didn't care...they were just hungry. But the pizza was very dry! Fast forward to tonight was the last straw. We called to place an order only to spend a whole ten minutes with a man on the phone who was clueless in taking our order, clueless as to what they had on the menu, clueless about our order, clueless about who was going to prepare the food because apparently the cook or whomever could not be found. He had to ask if they had shrimp, then he had to ask where it was on the menu (originally i wanted shrimp alfredo), then he said they had no shrimp only later another employee said they had shrimp - ugh! Another 15 minutes on the phone. He had to keep putting us on hold to only then just hang up the phone. We then called back twice and the phone just rang. Even we called from another number. After waiting about 15 minutes we called back and got a man on the phone who seemed a little more confident with taking the order, however just a tad bit rude when we ask for him to repeat our order and had other questions in reference to our order. We placed our order again still with a little difficulty. We told him how frustrating it was to have to go through so much trouble just to place a simple carry-out order, AND to get hung up on. Of course, he denied that someone hung up the phone....but that's another story. When we finally get the order from the delivery driver, ready to dig in... the whole experience went ALL the way downhill. The pizza was dry and flat, my grilled shrimp salad consisted of 5 micro-mini withered up shrimp on a container full bed of nearly bad leaves of every kind of green lettuces. At least they added the rest of the salads toppings as i requested...(slow clap). My spouse received a cheeseburger sub...... with NO CHEESE. I tell you i don't have the patience to explain the rest. When my spouse called back about our order the man on the other end was extremely defensive and told him "Well what do you want us to do?"... he also told my spouse that he should have checked the food when the driver got to our house! NEVER EVER AGAIN! I highly un-recommend this place. You deserve to spend your hard earned dollars at better establishments, and not put yourself or your family through the distress. read more

After that time passed I decided to chat with Grubhub who appeared to be a tad rude. However they stated that the restaurant told them my order was in route. I just ordered a pizza which I heard was delicious but when I placed my order and paid for it I looked around and noticed that it looked very unsanitary dead bugs on the counter and the same person that is taking the dirty money that is transferred day to day from lord knows where! I called Big Papa since I just moved to a new place and they left a flyer at my door. I wasn't expecting much since it was around midnight. They came very quickly and the pizza was really good! It was pepperoni and extra cheese. So. Good. Then tonight (4-12-18) we needed food. So we ordered a shrimp basket and a meat master pizza and we picked it up. Again. So good. If I could give this place negative stars I would. I ordered food through grub hub from this place and the driver forgot part of my order. This is the second time that I have ordered from this place where they have forgotten part of my order. The driver stated that he would get the rest of my order and bring it back.
