Aloha Yelpers! So,…read moreI booked an appointment last night (9/10/17) at 11:04 p.m. with Lavilash by Janice for today (9/11/17) at 11:00 a.m. to have my lashes done. I received a text at 9:47 a.m. from Lavilash by Janice (9/11/17) saying that the individual I booked with was not available until 12:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. and so they asked if I could reschedule. I politely told them that 12:30 p.m. would be fine (meanwhile keep in mind I am a client driving from Hilo so I had to be ready and on the road at 9:00 a.m. to make it to my appt. at 11:00 a.m....which had now been postponed to 12:30 p.m.). Either way I was excited so I was willing to wait and just did a little shopping while I waited. Now...everything about my lash appointment was good (I thought) until I got home and later realized there was eyelash adhesive in my hair. There is a section of my hair that is stuck together and there is no way of getting this out. For all of you ladies keep in mind I had all of my hair in a bun so how the lash technician got this in my hair blows my mind. The worst part is I have really long curly hair and now I have to chop it off. To top this off it was obvious that the lash technician knew that she got this in my hair because of the way the hair was stuck together. It was like she tried to wipe it off but couldn't get it out and so instead of telling me she just sent me on my merry way. I spent $200+ dollars and left a very nice tip only to get home and find glue in my hair. I'm honestly really disappointed.

I made an appointment back in march to get a spot removed, like I've done twice in the past. I took days off from work because I knew I would need to recover. Checked in and got called back real fast as soon as PA Natalie came in the vibes shifted, first off I was in a tube top to help with the access to my back, she spent less than 5 minutes telling me she's going to refer me to another doctor to get this done. She never once gave me a medical reason as to why she was referring me she just didn't want to do it. I told her it's hard to get days off from work and she blew me off saying the referal is good for a year. I got the vibes that I didn't fit the "look" of the office. I've never felt more out of place! Ive had this procedure done before and know the cost I was well prepared to pay because they don't accept insurance. She just didn't want to do it! She hurries me out the check out then I get changed 156. for less than 5 minutes!!!! It's so sad I really liked my past visits with this office.
