It is quite large inside and has plenty of seating arranged for parents to sit and watch their children playing. There are also refreshments served including Tea, Coffee, Crisps etc. They also sell hot food like chips. Although you can go here by yourself, many people go here as part of a childrens party. Usually they play on all the games/slides first and then go into a diffrent room to eat their party food. You only need to pay a one off fee for entry but food and drink will cost you extra. Highly recommended. It is situated on the roof of Belle Vale Shopping Centre.

I was really pleasantly surprised, the entry price was reasonable only paying for the child.£4 for 1 1/2 hours. The place itself is very clean and comfortable for the parents with an excellent cafe the food is well presented and a good choice, the staff are all very nice polite and friendly. The play area is smallish but ample for the little ones, and the parents can go in with the child if they so wish, no shoes allowed but the parents i noticed still wore there's. The only drawback i noticed is that the toilets are at the back and cannot be seen, so the parents can't see the child if it goes into the public tiolets which i think makes for a vulnerable situation. other than that really good place. Oh and the hot choc with cream is a must.

Having attended…read moreinnumerable parties here herself-socialite that she is- my niece decided unequivocally that this was THE venue for her 5th birthday party. She and her delightful band of miniature guests had a fantastic time. The group was provided with a private section of what is, effectively, a warehouse filled with climbing frame and troupes of additive-powered children and their rather fraught-looking parents! A decidedly healthy spread was laid on and the group was allowed an hour's free time in the play area which includes a "spiral slide, a four lane astra-slide, traverse climbing wall, astro-turf football pitch and a twenty foot Submarine." I didn't think an hour was long enough for the kid, they were far to awake when we left, however any longer and I would have had to buy a hearing aid; it is a little noisy! For all you big kids, be warned the slide is not big enough for adults, seriously it's been tested; stick to the cafe which serves a selection of cakes, sandwiches and drinks (non-alcoholic!) They also offer a great breakfast: "dippy in eggs" and "jammy toast", nom nom.

The coffee tasted terrible, possibly due to the machine it was served from as like most of the premises, there was dirt & dust everywhere. A good thorough clean would not go amiss. While we visited reluctantly for the 2nd visit in December, a lady & her family were getting mad because they had booked weeks earlier to be told that they had limited time and space due to other parties, it was unbelievable that they couldn't deal with it properly as a business, no excuse for letting kids down on their special day... The worst thing about this place in our experience, was the management, as you would listen to your customer queries to make improvements, because as parents we understand how messy things can get in our home with our own 2 kids, never mind over 70-100 kids running around, but they would rather argue with you and display a bitchy response, so therefore I will never ever take my 2 kids or family back here again. If you can't accept a criticism to improve something, then you will only have limited shelf life before you go off and this already has.

I have been coming here for years with children and it is a well organised, well designed soft play area for birth to 10 years old. The infants' section is small but integrated with the larger children's area and toddlers race around on the equipment without a care in the world. The bigger play area is a large fairy tale castle like structure with three levels of fun and a great ball pit where the rugrats can have a ball shower. What sets Head Over Heels apart from other indoor play areas is that parents can watch children from the sidelines on soft leather couches as opposed to on harsh plastic chairs that other places seem to favour. The restaurant is lovely if not a little expensive and they do panninis, pizzas, an all day breakfast , and a nice cappucino and cake which you can indulge in as the older children zoom down the red astro slide. Head over Heels is just a nice, clean and well air-conditioned place for kids and adults alike and £5 is a small price to pay for peace whilst your little ones are occupied for an hour and a half. My children have held several parties here and the staff have been amazing. For £11 per child, the party group have 60 minutes play downstairs and then go into a disco room while parents can relax in the restaurant watching their children on tv screens. Then its off to the separate party area where they are served healthy snacks including: fish goujons, cucumber, carrot sticks, grapes, olives and pizza. Each guest takes home a balloon and a party bag and have a good night's sleep afterwards. It is advisable to book a few months in advance if you are interested in having your child's party here though as it gets booked up early. This place is head over heels above any other the kids have been to. Well worth a visit!

This is quite simply the best children's activity centre I've been to. I've been taking kids here…read moreever since it first opened and the standards have remained exceptionally high. The play equipment is well maintained, clean and replaced regularly. It's bright and inviting and the big red slide is great for adults as much as kids. There's comfy sofas for when you're not chasing them round and the facilities are clean, and functional. The sections for younger and older children are clearly defined and the cafe is amazing. The menu has tasty, healthy options, the food's freshly prepared and cooked on the premises. There's no frozen processed deep fat fried nuggets here - it's chicken breast goujons! We've had 3 parties ourselves here and attended numerous others. The staff are warm, welcoming and helpful. It might seem pricy per head, but the food's included and of a higher standard than most places and you don't have to tidy up afterwards. All you have to do is bring party bags and a cake and the kids. It does get ridiculously busy on Saturdays, rainy days, school holidays and the only negative comment is that they seem to have relaxed their maximum capacity rule and it gets a bit too rowdy. I've witnessed some serious head on collisions with far too many kids running round. My suggestion is to go out side of peak times to get the maximum out of the place, a longer stay and less anxiety about a bump and tears at the end of a great day out. And DO try the ginger bread men - they're the best by far

There is one section suitable for babies and toddlers which has a good mixture of soft play activities such as a ball pool, slides, and a sensory and disco room. There is also another large section dedicated to much bigger slides and activities for kids old enough to run around there own to get stuck into. There is also a bungee type ride for the older kids, although I think this is charged at extra. The cafe is apparently award winning, although what award it's won I've no idea but actually the food was absolutely fine and probably much better than most soft play places and the veg soup I had tasted fresh and homemade. Tip : There is a car park at the front and an overspill at the back but if, like me, you've braved the school holidays then the nearest car park is a 5 minute walk down the road where Next is located.
