Great work, takes pride in doing the best work and makes sure the customer is pleased.

ALWAYS LATE, OVERPRICED, AND UNPROFESSIONAL. That is how I would describe my experience with this company. Things started out reasonably well, but their inability to manage projects, maintain schedules, and honor commitments eventually became impossible to overlook. Project start dates were repeatedly delayed, sometimes stretching months beyond their original promises. The biggest issue, in my experience, is the owner's wife, who appears to handle scheduling and project coordination. Her lack of professionalism, poor communication, and inability to manage project timelines have been particularly frustrating. When I finally insisted that they honor their commitments instead of repeatedly pushing my project aside to accommodate other jobs they were also behind on, her response was astonishing. Despite being 45 days past our originally promised start date, she accused me of having unreasonable expectations and explained that she didn't want to put additional pressure on her husband, the owner. Apparently, expecting a company to honor its commitments and respect its customers' time is unreasonable. Her response demonstrated exactly what I believe is wrong with this company's management. Rather than accepting responsibility, communicating professionally, and finding solutions, she became defensive. Managing a business requires organization, accountability, emotional composure, and the ability to maintain realistic schedules. Based on my experience, these are areas where significant improvement is desperately needed. Unfortunately, their scheduling problems aren't the only concern. Their workmanship has also been disappointing. They leave job sites messy, fail to clean up after themselves, and leave unfinished work for others to address. Their pricing for land work has been approximately 35% higher than competing quotes I've received, yet I have seen nothing in the quality of their work or customer service that justifies the additional expense. Our latest project remains unfinished, the job site is a mess, and they are now threatening to place a lien on the property despite not having completed their portion of the work. Perhaps the most frustrating aspect of this entire experience is their apparent disregard for the consequences their delays create. Other contractors are left waiting, project schedules are disrupted, and customers are forced to deal with the financial and logistical consequences of commitments this company fails to honor. The owner's wife would benefit tremendously from professional training in business management, scheduling, customer relations, and conflict resolution. Personal emotions should never interfere with professional obligations, particularly when the company is already significantly behind schedule. My recommendation: Take your business elsewhere. If you expect your contractor to honor agreed-upon timelines, communicate professionally, complete the work, and leave your property in acceptable condition, I would strongly encourage you to consider other companies. Paying premium prices should come with premium service, not months of delays, unfinished projects, excuses, and threats of a lien. I genuinely wish I had hired someone else. It would have saved me considerable time, frustration, and unnecessary disruption to other contractors who were depending on this company to finish its work. read more

We recently moved to the country and wanted a pond on our place. Dylan took a lay of the land and created a pond that works well for our property. The shape and design is perfect. The pond has ledges that will be great for fishing or swimming. He will also add a deck and aerator next. We can't wait for it to start filling up and see the wildlife it will bring. Big D is a great company to work with. Honest, ethical and fairly priced. We have two more projects already scheduled with them. Highly recommend. read more
