I am not a big review writer, but I had to write on this business. Service is well beyond outstanding. I had some sterling sliver that I did not need so I took to the local big pawn shop in town to sell as scrap. They offered me $250.00 for a 1lb 14oz ask the guy why so low as they said they paid 75% on spot market. Then he told me that silver when melted would 15 to 20% non sliver. Now that on sliver that was .925 that's only 7.5% not sliver. Never had taken anything here before so I thought I give them a try. PAID me $322.00 without all the BS. I wish there was a way to give negative stars. There is absolutely no way the guy working at this business today was the owner. He was most certainly NOT the man that other people have been reviewing. He was a snot nose who needs a lesson in basic manners! I went in to sell a diamond and gold ring. No one was up front but I heard someone run up from the back. A young man and a young women showed up behind the window. He just looks at me so I tell him I'd like to see what I could get for my ring. He wipes his hand on his pant and says: "Let me see it" I give him the ring, he looks at it, muttered an expletive under his breath, put it on the scale and almost immediately he says "200 dollars". I was absolutely floored! He didn't even look at it!! I shook my head no and indicated it had cost much more than that. He immediately gets defensive and says:"Well, retailers mark that junk jewelry up 600 percent. My wife has a (insert ridiculous amount of money here) dollar ring that only cost me (insert miniscule amount of money here) dollars to build." He was practically yelling at me. From walking in to walking out was less than one minute. My ring was not retail, it was custom and I have numerous appraisals that speak to it's value. I didn't expect top dollar but I did expect something reasonable. I could have done without the hurtful insult of a ring I was only parting with because we are in dire straits.
