I went to speak with Mr.Esikati about what I needed to do to complete the course from central Texas and he (an old married man) proceeded to HIT ON ME (a 17 year old girl), telling me that I was "sexy" and other nonsense whilst offering me no solution. Needless to say, I got out of there as soon as possible. Several weeks later, my mother and I requested a portion of the $400 paid for the course back due to incompletion and we received no compliance from Mr.Esikati. This place is also referred to as the Watersong Wild Space. The weather could not have been more perfect on that Sunday, January 4, 2026. It's not the most amazing place due to the dry climate and flat lands, but for Midland it was a cool find - plus it was all free. Free parking. Free entrance. I could definitely hear the droning tires on the Interstate nearby, but viewing nature was refreshing. A caliche road leads to the parking lot. Look out for mesquite trees that might scratch your vehicle up if you get too close. The biggest drawback had to be that dogs are not allowed. No bicycles allowed either. Just please have your party dispose of their trash properly at the main pedestrian entrance. Closed on Monday.
