I was in the Echo Park area and decided to check out the store when I walked by it. The people working were extremely helpful and pleasant to interact with. As another review mentioned, the dye they use bleeds! I bought a classic tank for $60! I was so excited I wore it out of the store. The day after, I noticed tiny oil stains on the shirt (hate when that happens!!!) so I applied baking soda to blot the oil out and mixed oxy with dawn dish soap and hand washed the shirt. When I tell you the shirts dye was all over my sink and the shirt had orange spots all over, I'm not kidding. I do take responsibility for the oil getting on the shirt and washing the shirt, but I agree with another reviewer that the dye bleeding (as stated on clothes tag as well) makes shopping there not worth it! I have a Target tank that has lasted way longer and was way more affordable! I just loved the color, style, and fabric quality at Big Bud, but I can't shop here again, especially since they're so strict on returns/exchanges. I guess I'll stay a Targee girl *oh well* ‍ read more

I've loved this brand for so long but because the stores are so far from where I live, I haven't had much opportunity to visit in person. The echo park store is small and is split between two buildings side-by-side, but they're super cute and still have a good selection. The employees are so friendly and I could tell that they really cared about the brand because they seemed excited by a jacket from one of their older collections I was wearing. They had a super discount bin of clothes and I was able to find a couple of things in my size and chose a hoodie for only $30! I thought it was such a score and definitely made it worth it to visit the store in person. read more

I've wanted a jumpsuit from BBP forever but I don't live in LA and wanted to try on before I purchased. Was finally able to shop in person today and they had exactly what I wanted. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. I will be back. read more

Just stopped in and I got to say, these guys impress me. They really know how to dial into exactly the right garments that a whole strata of different type of people will want. Love the emphasis on cottons. Prices seem exactly right for what you're getting. Met the owner Philip and he knows customer service. No snobbery. Just wanted to say good job to Big bud press. Happy to have them in the neighborhood. read more

I'd give it a zero if I could. My wife could not exchange a jumpsuit for a larger size because she was " outside the two week window." She got within the 30 day window for most retail companies return/exchanges but this company thinks they are extra special. We had a unplanned pregnancy, so we weren't aware of the size change needed. Really poor customer service. Way to support the female customers your brand epitomizes. read more

Rainbows, rainbows, and more rainbows all available in the form of tshirts, pins, bags, and a variety of clothing. It screams happiness as you walk by and somehow lures you in by the festive colors awaiting you inside. It is simply decorated with a friendly staff who obviously love working in this magical store. I was looking for the unicorn, but it ends at rainbows. Mackenna is a top notch sales clerk who seemed delighted that my friend and I were enjoying our experience. I got an adorable rainbow tee for my daughter and as she placed it in an adorable bag, she tossed in a sticker and pin to boot. This area on York is wonderful with boutiques and eateries lined up, one after the other. Great little area for unique gifts for friends who seem to have everything, but they don't.... until now. read more

We were in the area for a cafe but the cafe was closed. So we were wandering around and stumbled upon Big Bud Press. A really eye-catching store front. We had no choice but to check it out. We were greeted by really friendly staff. The shop was tiny, yet really warm and cozy inside. We went in expecting to only look around but found this super cute pin and bought it! read more

I love this place, I'm such a fan. The place is quite difficult to miss despite its small size. It literally stands out as you're driving by. It's pink, there's a neon sign glowing at night, and the clothing as well as the decor is super colorful. It truly looks magical from the outside looking in. From the inside you get to experience a unique small business. They're known for their jumpsuits, colorful tees, pins, high waisted pants, as well as their accessories. Everything is unisex so I recommend stopping by and trying on their clothes before buying if you can. Since it is unisex I noticed everything I tried on had a little bit of extra space in the crotch area, but it's not too noticeable and it's not surprising considering this is unisex. The staff is incredibly helpful with finding the right size. I especially love their short sleeve jumpsuits because they cinch on the waist, making it super flattering. They also have another location in Highland Park if you're set out to find a specific color and they don't have it in stock at this location. The culture in this place is great, it's got such a friendly, inviting vibe. I definitely want to get another jumpsuit soon! Parking: Street, mainly metered unless you can find some nearby neighborhood parking (be wary of street signs if you do this!). There is also reasonably priced parking beside Masa of Echo Park. The only thing I wish they did have was a phone number to call available, just in case I'm ever set on a specific color, I'd love to be able to call ahead to see if they have it in stock first! read more

Super cute shop, and VERY kind employees who were more than helpful, and very sweet. Wanted to try on some pants to figure out my size so I can order online when I have more money, and they still were very helpful knowing I wasn't making any large purchases that day. I ended up buying a small tote, which they had a plethora of color options to choose from, and the bag seems very sturdy and well made. Super cute hats and stickers etc as well. read more

I recently purchased four work pants online. I've been eyeing Big Bud for awhile now, and have enjoyed going into their actual store. Service is friendly and inviting, and I never feel pressured. Unfortunately it's always been out of my budget. I recently decided to splurge a little as I had spent a lot of time unsuccessfully trying to replace old pants that I had very much worn out. I hardly buy new pants as I'm short and my size is usually the fastest to sell out. The shipping was incredibly fast and the work pants fit even better than I expected. They hug my waist perfectly but are still comfortable enough to wear on bloated period days. However just a few weeks after I bought them, one of the belt loops broke on the green pair. I plan on sewing it back on and would like to get more colors in the future, but for $85 a pair I was hoping it would be sturdier. Nevertheless, the clothes fit well and I still recommend them. read more

I came in to the Echo Park store here a couple weeks back and the person working was sweet as pie! She helped me pick out the best color for me with a jumpsuit... I've been aching for one for months, really, and finally came in to try one on in person after pining away on Instagram forever. I spun around in a circle, told her my pant size, and she was able to tell me what size to start with. I ended up between 2 choices, and when I came out to ask her to help me decide between, she had words of wisdom beyond the words my husband could give. Girl, you rock. We stocked up, too... stickers!!! They have shirts! Oh man, this place is a chromophile's slice of heaven. Although it's tiny (about an 8x8 box, max to shop around), it's packed full of goodies. And I've had nonstop compliments ever since wearing my jumpsuit. read more

Honestly the poor rating is not because of the brand itself but because of the girl that was working when I went. Her name is Abby. Everyone was nice but she seemed so annoyed about having to re fold items I was looking at. She was also rude when explaining the return policy. Honestly girl wyd?? You don't seem happy to be working here and every other location I've been to, the customer service has been phenomenal. Not sure if you were having a bad day but leave that at home or get a different job. Everyone else that has helped me at the store has always had such good customer service so this was such a disappointment because the clothes aren't cheap, and I wasn't comfortable shopping at all when she was there. I felt like she was ready to go home. Her smile and service felt so false.. guess I'm just gonna shop online / avoid that location altogether. read more

I love Big Bud Press' colorful assortment of pieces--every time they release a new collection I am filled with happiness! The items are something to save up for, but they feel durable and are made in-house. The jumpsuits look especially timeless. I currently love my blue coastliner jacket to bits. Shipping is also fast and easy, being in CA. The online size guide is super helpful and BBP gets ALL the stars for having a beautiful, inclusive community of folks who model their clothes! read more

I am very much so disappointed with their customer service. BUYERS BEWARE. Post-purchased customer service is terrible. After you buy an item they take no responsibility for their products/goods. I purchased a nice pair of pants and after the first wash, the tag head bleed into the pant. The tag is blue on the pants and the pants are white (creme). I did a laundry load of the pants alone with nothing else. I take the pants out of the washing machine and there are all blue spots on the front and back of the pant where the tag was placed. I live about 45 minutes from my local Big Bud Press store and planned a day when I had the time to go in that week to show them what had happened and hopefully get a replacement for the pant. The store manager believed me and that the tags dye did bleed into the pant however her response was "We can't do anything about it" Try bleach or an all-purpose stain cleaner. I was shocked. She then reached out to client services management and their response was "One worn and washed, we cannot take the product back and we are not responsible. Customer service could not care for any reason about their product. Post-product purchase is terrible. Be careful. Definitely will not be purchasing from them again. read more

So I was introduced to this place by director Taika Waiting. I don't know him personally, but he posted a photo of himself on Twitter wearing an awesome jacket saying I'm Tired. I was like, I need this. I need this now. I found out the place was from an online store called Big Bud Press. They were no longer selling that jacket but because the demand was so high, they decided to do a limited order on it. Damn straight, I ordered it. I was contacting the owner on Twitter. I noticed on the site it says jackets run small, so I was worried about the size. I asked her if it was too big or too small if I could exchange it. She was like come to the store to check and I could change it I saw they were in LA! YASSS... So, I went today and the other owner, Lacey's boyfriend, (I feel so bad not asking his name) was totally awesome. He was so friendly and we talked about the origin of the store and the pins. I bought a I'M TIRED pin and I also changed my order size because I got to try on the other jackets for sizing. So nice! He was so friendly and made me feel so welcomed. I felt fine spending that amount on the jacket bc I know how independent shops work and they are both so so nice! Parking is not bad. Be careful where you park cuz Glendale and sunset are a bridge away. You think they intersect, but sunset is a bridge over Glendale. Anyways, the quality of their jackets are awesome and their jumpsuits look great. I can't wait to get my jacket!!!! Overall, really cute place to shop and the people are so freaking nice! read more

So I'm a regular shopper of bigbudpress and dang every year and every new purchase is another piece of clothing that gives me new confidence in my body and has me going " damn I look good" . Today I wanted the new jeans and When I tried them in I almost got a little emotional because nearly all my life I'm looking for gorgeous form fitting high waisted jeans that don't squeeze the life out of me. I visited this store while stopping by and the ladies were so sweet and kind. Mara and the girl with glasses and bangs were really friendly and informative and knowledgeable about the brand's history and the styles and petite sizing. They also gave me free stickers with the website info on the back to look at more products that were in stock online. Very beautiful inside store - the two rooms of the store are separated by a building in the middle, which makes it like two separate stores and its very clean and cutely organized inside. read more

Girlfriend sent me on a mission to get her a jump suit during a sale. I being the stupid dumb boyfriend grabbed the wrong size. Grabbed XS instead of S. It didn't fit. Was a sale so all items final. I went back not 30 minutes later. The workers even remembered me. I pleaded with them to please let me swap for a size S. Just swap them from the hangers. Not even do another transaction. And they flat out refused. Said all transactions final. I wasn't even asking them to do a transaction on their POS system. Just swap the garment on the hanger. A garment that was on their hanger literally 30 minutes ago. I spent $500 at the store that day. I spent over $1,000 at Big Bud in the past online before they opened the Chicago location two blocks from my apartment. And this is how they treat customers. I have ordered almost every single item that Big Bud Press has ever made and I have literally NEVER received the incorrect order, or a damaged item. My jumpsuit fits like it was tailored to my body and I don't travel without my fanny pack. I am constantly approached by people complimenting my BBP goodies. I got a couple of long sleeved jumpsuits from them a couple of years back. They fit like a glove! I just tried to reup on the black long sleeve jumpsuit and the fit is very different. I'm not sure what happened to the sizing, but the xxs is looser, the legs longer, and there's room where there wasn't in the past around the waist and thighs. The fit isn't as photographed or as it was before. I hope they bring back their original sizing. read more

Big Bud is an electric, rainbow dream! I've been shopping with them for over two years right now and I've never had a poor experience. In the past few years, I have moved away from fast fashion and Big Bud is one of the great ethically made brand in Los Angeles so I am more than happy to support them! It's been really inspiring watching them grow and seeing people in Big Bud gear all around town. I have visited both of their locations multiple times and it's always been a pleasant and helpful experience. The gals are so sweet and personable. I can not recommend Big Bud Press enough. 5 stars for the guy who is working there today 11/28. He was by far the nicest person from Big Bud Press that I have encountered. Worst return / exchange policy. Very short window of time. Be very sure of your purchase before buying !

Such a cute colorful store-front. I love their online shop and I was pleasantly surprised that they had a lot of it in-store...The reason I say this is because it's a really small store space, but it feels very spacious inside! I ordered something online but I needed to exchange it for a different size and I didn't feel like shipping it back and waiting through that whole process so since I live close enough I decided to just drive to their store and do it there, without even knowing if they would be able to accommodate me or if they would have my size in-store. The girl working was very helpful and the whole process literally took like 10 seconds. I just gave her my printed receipt and the jacket I bought online and she let me pull a new one off the rack and walk out, it was that simple. Can't wait to see their new store!!! Take all my money LOL read more

Big Bud Press is one of my favorite small businesses! They make their clothing ethically and are unisex and size-inclusive. I am a proud owner of a jumpsuit, three t-shirts, and a shop-girl dress, and they are all fantastic. The jumpsuit not only fits (which is a miracle because I have an abnormally long torso and often run into camel-toe problems...) but is also one of the most flattering pieces of clothing I have ever worn. The t-shirts are soft, comfortable, and come in amazing colors and patterns. The shop-girl dress is perfect for working in my studio thanks to the plethora of pockets. I have never been able to visit a store in person, so all my items have been ordered using the online size charts and model size guide, and everything has always fit perfectly!
