they are horrible, I got a bill today for 200.00 for a bill that was part of 500.00 bail for a family member, that bail was over 11 years ago, paid in full and they think people don't keep receipts that long, wow I have a fiiling cabinet and got stuff from 1958. They did their part and got a family member out of jail, but 11 years later they want a payment for something paid in full. Never ever use this company. They bailed my son out of jail in 2008 2 days later the judge increased my sons bond to 100,000 and put him back in jail. I called and advised the bail bond company to cancel the bond on him and they agreed and said it would cost just 500.00 for their service. I paid 250.00 the day they bailed him out and my son supposedly paid the other 250.00. So mind you my son spent 24 total hours on a bond from them I canceled it in 48 hours and 12 years later I get a paper in the mail garnishing my wages and say I owe 8,000 most of it being interest all those years. Never once did I get a bill in the mail. I look up this case against me and not only did they have someone lie on paper saying they served me court papers in Maryland which at the time I didn't even live in Maryland. Their attorney is just as much a shister as the bail bond company. Apparently this case was dismissed once due to lack of prosecution so they have a lawyer pull a favor lie and say I was served and reinstated the case. This is what tgey do charge you small amount of money wont bill you get a falsely obtained judgement for thousands of dollars then garnish your money. NO MORE IM SUING YOU BIG BOY read more

So I got into trouble 12 years ago just about I was bailed out by big boys and since it's been so long I can't remember the whole process but I do not remember owing them any money and I forget all about them until I get a piece of mail from the district court of Maryland That States that big boys is going to be garnishing my wages and the courts have issue them 10% interest on the 7 minute dollars that I owe them. And in Maryland they have pull years to go after you. If this is something I legitimately owed widen a send me bills why wasn't I notified of this until I noticed that my wage will be garnished. It's very coincidental that all these years go by and I have no clue on this and there just racking up interest but right before the 12 year Mark is up i get a notice saying they will be garnishing my wages. I have to get a lawyer involved because of course I don't have recipes from almost 12 years ago. And how the courts let's these scam artists do this is appalling. so not go here they will come after you 12 years later saying you owe them and now you have not only what they say you owe but 10% in interest every year and their lawyer fee. Although it was very easy to find a number for Big Boyz (the countless yellow and pink pens all over Baltimore), my experience was everything but. I paid an initial down payment and waited over 12 hours to be told they wanted 1/2 of the total bail money (negating the purpose of a bondsman). So after being told this company wanted excessive amounts of money to bail my significant other out of jail, I decided to seek the help of another bond company. Their refund policy is that you must wait to receive payment until Friday. However, when I called and told them I had found another bonds man, I was told I could get the money that day. After making the trek across town to the office, I was very rudely helped by the office manager, who refused to give me the owner's name or her name. She told me there was "no one above her that I could speak with" and consistently spoke over top of me. She turned my simple question into a HUGE hassle and shouting match. Will I get my money? No one knows. My advice? Instead of Big Boyz spending so much money on advertising, try spending it on something that actually matters... A customer service team that not only handles any situation with quickness, intelligence, and professionalism, but one that actually gets it done. One star is too many for these rude people! As a friend of mine got into minor trouble and wanted to pay the bail to get out, I called their number the rude guy first put me on hold close to 7-8 min then asked me how how how much you need bail I said $2500 then he asked me where are you from? I responded by answering where I am from does it help to find a solution to pay the bail and get him out, then he said I am too busy can't help you and hung up the phone immidiately. Never, never, never use these scum bags. Just like Erin they did the same thing to me and are completely heartless, worse than IRS if that is even possible. They could have called or sent bills (they obviously knew where I was because the court had my home address) but no, nothing for 8 years so I thought my ex paid it or it was written off. Then comes the court garnishment and I get pennies to live off of. No I'd rather quit my job now and live off welfare than give them a penny after everything I went through. I recently used their services, the staff were friendly. They have great payment plans, and will accept only 1%down. I paid less than 10% total, of course im no flight risk, so that helps a lot. However, there were discrepencies, and they did try to renegotiate, but in the end, help up their side of the original agreement. read more
