I had some equipment that was broken that I had purchased from them!... and then quoted me plus of £100 to get it fixed. Not to mention they wanted me to purchase a case from the store as they refused to fix it when it was already broken. So I went down to the music box, down the road from PMT and the bloke fixed it with a smile. We had a good chat and charged me £10 for everything!!!! Just shows what sort of people who work at PMT. Failed musicians who want to charge people ridiculous amounts to ruin their fun. Never returning and never giving a good name about the place. Such a shame as I have spent a lot of money here. but hey ho, you live and you learn.

What a mistake; What a waste of time. Wanted to order few things and I was lured to come to the shop in order to benefit from px for my old (pristine) amp/fx module etc. This guy even said best to buy from the branch. Same guy agrees a price over the phone based on if pristine. I turned up with my pristine giant amp ( I drove there 26 miles and carried the AMP) which he agreed to the fact it was pristine and offers me £39( it is a £480 amp when new) towards my order. I rather donate the gear towards an upcoming musician to give them the opportunity. I will most certainly not going to spend my money in this store! They hire and sell the restored pianos, which all look good quality. I can't afford much in here, but I love learning about the gorgeous old pianos. They can value pianos as well and help with insurance queries. The staff are clearly passionate about their work and are keen to give advice on buying at auction or valuing a piano. My friend's piano turned out not to be worth much, but they did give her tips on keeping it in good condition.

They looked and sounded fantastic in our venue and had the ability to read the room perfectly, which helped create an amazing atmosphere. Ceri and I wanted a lively, interactive ceilidh band that was guaranteed to get the uncles up dancing. By sunset, all our family and friends were doing a jig. Ceri and I love live music, it was therefore only natural that we wanted to incorporate as much as possible on our wedding day. After weeks of searching we were struggling to find a good band that we could afford. By chance we stumbled upon the Morrigan Dagda Ceilidh Band website and loved their music. After confirming their availability the band quoted a fair price and could provide everything we required and some more. Sam even agreed to set up the PA and microphone in advance for our speeches. This saved us a lot hassle and only cost a little extra. We could also plug our laptop into their PA so we could play music from iTunes during the wedding breakfast and interval. From the moment we booked the Morrigan Dagda Ceilidh Band we had regular correspondence over the phone and via email. Their 'nothing is too much trouble' approach was spot on. Our main contact was Sam, he was very friendly and approachable throughout the planning and made it easy for us to make requests. We asked the band if they could perform some chilled out folk music, a ceildh, the odd recognisable song (with vocals), some of our favourites with a folk twist and our first dance with lyrics re-written by ourselves. We never imagined that they would be able to fulfil all our requests but they did, add to that their own repertoire and ideas and we had a ceilidh band that was perfect for our day. If you are looking for a great sounding, friendly and reliable ceilidh band then you should definitely check these guys out.
