I feel like we were more than gracious when the quartz countertop for the bar was put in wrong, because NO ONE from Colonel was there when it was installed incorrectly. We figured out a solution (not ideal, but ok) so they would not have to redo the entire bar. The crew left a ditch witch behind my garage door over a weekend, along with boards and open paint that I actually backed over more than once. Sloppy, no respect for our property whatsoever. After less than a year the patio pavers needed attention once again. My husband and myself texted the owner and crickets...we had to hire a different company to come and repair it. We had high hopes, but really disappointed.

I contacted Jerry and 3 other landscape companies. All had high ratings on BBB and some were listed on Angie's list as being good. One never contacted me back with their bid. Two were $10,000 to $14,000 more. Maloney was just under the lowest. My backyard goes down hill and the soil has eroded badly. All companies agreed with the depth of the hill it would take two retaining walls and each described building them the same exact way. But before Jerry would give me a bid, he ask if he could clear out some weeds with a pile of rocks underneath. No one else asked that so they guessed at what needed done on that end of the hill. The walls are 50 feet long. Jerry not only underbid the others but built a 3rd retaining wall on the side yard where it was eroding, again all was under the other bids. He and his team were great to communicate with, were on time, worked fast, cleaned up each night and left my yard looking tremendously better than when they arrived. The walls are beautiful, several neighbors stopped to compliment Jerry, his team and us. Jerry is an honest, handshake kind of man. He will put all on paper if you want. If not he will discuss with you in depth what you want done and how he will do it. We then hired him to cut down one tree, trim 5 other trees and 3 large shrubs, clean out old roots and some old growth in our front yard. Again he and his team were very efficient and gave us great price. We will definitely hire them again.

The design required a lot of the stones to be cut, but even with the large number of cuts required, the path was installed in about 3 days. His team really worked hard to ensure the design came to life. We also had Signature install sod in the back yard (which our dog had destroyed). The guys cut out the old sod, created the perfectly graded base and fertilized for success. We couldn't be happier with the end result.
