My wife and I…read morecurrently have our 8 month old enrolled in and attending this facility Monday through Friday. This is our third child and we were fortunate enough with our first two children that we did not need to place them in daycare. To say we were nervous, scared, and worried to have someone else care for our baby is an understatement. But, from the first tour of the facility to now, a couple months later, we could not be happier that the employees of La Petite are caring for our child. I personally drop off and pick up my child most days so I get to see his response to being dropped off and picked up. Every morning he smiles at the care taker who is there to receive him and every evening I walk in to find him well cared for and not crying. This has given my wife and me the peace of mind we needed so we can focus on what we need to do every day. Their App is also fantastic with regular updates and pictures as well as direct messages from the care takers with any important news pertaining to our son. I am very happy with La Petite in Decatur and am extremely thankful that I know they will watch over, teach, and encourage my son every single day. She did nothing to try to connect with my child. My son would cry because he wasn't comfortable there. Then they would call me to come pick him up. How you work at a daycare and don't know how to deal with a crying baby? I tired to set up a meeting so we can handle the issues we where having but to no avail. They would not answer the phone. I left numerous messages and no one got back to me. I know if they where ignoring me as a parent, I can only imagine how they where treating my child. They are not attentive at all, my son came home soaking wet. He had on the same pull up I put on him that morning. Overall I had a horrible experience with them. I thought because it was a church daycare that my child would be in good hands. Boy was I wrong.

Our son switched to Hampton Cove KinderCare about a month ago as he was previously going to a different Preschool in the area. There were daily issues due to his needs and he was very unhappy every day that he was there and it showed when he came home. Since going to Hampton Cove KinderCare, he is happy. He comes home every day and acts like a different child in just a very short amount of time. He's even been sleeping all night in his bed just since he started going to HC KinderCare. He's at peace knowing he is wanted, loved and accepted. In previous months, I know this location went through alot of changes and thanks to the current leadership the staff seems engaged, prepared and focused. We couldn't be happier with our son's teacher and the staff we've encountered. If you are looking for a Preschool in the area, I highly recommend you give Hampton Cove KinderCare a try. I do not believe you will be disappointed as we certainly are not in seeing the needs of our toddler being met on a daily basis.

But The last day he stayed there, I visited him on my lunch and found a knot on the side of his head and a festering rash on his neck.My baby isn't crawling around or interacting with other babies he's too young, so they definitely must have bumped his head.
