bed, bath w jets

Coming from a neat freak, germaphobe, frequent traveller.. here's my opinion. Location is good.. you're within minutes of everything. Shops, food, skiing, tubing, you name it. You are also directly across from a fire station so you're the first to hear the blaring of it. Win some lose some. Interior is fine.. Nothing above average but not bad. Paint on the walls is chipped, bathtub is chipped, shower head is coming off the wall... however the layout is cute and decor is up to date. Cleanliness is good.. As a med student, I refuse to bathe or shower without running steaming water first to clear any bacteria .. and run the jets for one minutes to see if they were cleaned. It passed the test. I wore white socks and scraped my feet on the hardwood to see if any residue came up.. nothing. The sheets were fresh and so were towels, etc. Can't complain there. Comfortability - Bed sucks. I personally need firm and solid. This bed is squishy and springy. Gave me a backache. Small secondary couch in the room is comfy. Other positives - Jets in the tub worked fine, hot water was pretty constant ... mirror in the bathroom has vanity light which is nice.. air/heat work fine.. Mini fridge works good.. ya get your own parking spot too so that's cool. Don't know if i'd stay here again, but for a last minute anniversary trip it was fine!

No no no. Stay here only if you are tired of thinking about getting covid 19 and would like to start thinking about all the other diseases you could catch like VD, crabs, bed bugs, leprosy. I mean OUR imaginations went wild. We are stoic in our philosophy in life and look at it as an adventure so we aren't too mad BUT THEN seeing a scaly residue after using the jacuzzi and wondering WTH COULD THAT BE?!?!? Also, the Nespresso machine didn't work. The dyson fan didn't work either. We can't say ANYTHING good about it. Unless maybe you don't have a home. If maybe you live on the streets and you need to shower up. Sorry. I have never left a review this bad. I like people and I don't like being hurtful.

We stayed the night here and it is very cozy, spacious and clean. Customer service was great! They even helped with directions on how to get to Las Vegas.

Right across the street from the fire department

they claim that this is a spa tub but it's broken and there's pubic hair in it and when we turn the water on flakes of skin and stuff came out of the Jets which is very gross. This place is right across the street from the fire department which you hear sirens all night long. The sidewalk is broken so it is a hazard to walk a crossed and you can get hurt very easily going upstairs. No one from this facility cares to return any phone calls Nor do they care to return any text messages it has been four days and I still have not heard from these people.. find someplace else to stay Because there is no good customer service and there is no good solutions to any situation in your room

This place is a in the rough! My boyfriend and I came across this place because we wanted to get out of town for the weekend. We could not be more happy with our decision to stay here! There are only 4 rooms in the building and it is conveniently located near the village and other major local businesses. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. We had an AMAZING time! We will definitely be returning again soon, but this time we will be bringing our friends back and renting all 4 rooms! Thanks again Bryan for this awesome experience.

Green Tea Cabin. We stayed for a weekend. The biggest issue we had was the jacuzzi (which is the main reason we chose this cabin) was green and stinky. We contacted the property manager and she seemed to be receptive but nothing was done. So basically we paid about $100 more per night compared to the average cabin because of a jacuzzi that was unserviceable. The owner apparently didn't care about it.

Black Mold in corner of the room. As dangerous as it is disgusting.

ROACHES, ANTS, BLACK MOLD - DO NOT STAY HERE Immediately upon entering the room I glanced up into the corner above the fireplace and saw black mold seeping out onto the ceiling. Once i shut off the main light to try to get some sleep and leave as soon as possible, something scurried out from under the stained, disgusting couch. The room was roach infested. I killed that one and pulled the couch out to find another one waiting. The absolutely disgusting room ruined our weekend. The cherry on top of the shit sundae was the huge trail of ants crawling out of the light switch on the wall at the head of the bed. This place needs to be inspected and shut down as soon as possible. Please spend your money somewhere else.

Wood coming apart and peeling whatever that white stuff is around jacuzzi.

My husband and I stayed here a couple years ago and it was much different then. Needless to say I won't come back. The suite we got (Suite #4) was rundown and very disappointing. The ceiling fan made a constant clicking noise, the lamp on the bedside wall fell when my husband tried turning it on, the jacuzzi area is falling apart, the toilet wasn't properly attached to the floor, and the bed is hard as a rock. I immediately texted Bryan (the host or manager or whoever) and the only response was "sorry about the jacuzzi." It's a shame that the property owner or manager would consider this a suite.

So Cute! The light changes colors! :)

I had a wonderful Stay at the Lindberg Suites!! We stayed in the Sleepover Suite. The place is well managed and kept really clean! Stacy is very inviting and keeps in constant communication! she is quick to respond, hospitable and professional! the Hot tub is super nice and the jets are easy to turn on and off. The location is definitely a plus! everything is walking distance! Me and my Sweetheart spent a lot of our time walking to Big Bear Village and it was comforting to know that our suite was close by with a fire place and a hot tub just waiting for us!!! Plus a lot of hiking trails close by! Would recommend this for couples! had a great stay!

Wonderful Experience in the Green Tea Cabin with my husband ! I was a little nervous because there were some bad reviews but I reached out to Staci and she was able to address all of my concerns and make sure I had nothing to worry about. Staci Went out of her way to communicate with me through the booking process and with the many questions I had regarding the unit. Since talking over the phone is sometimes a challenge while I'm in the office She was still able to communicate with me via text message which I very much appreciated. My husband and I spent a weekend in the Green Tea cabin which is a cute private cottage style home down the road from the hotel. Everything was perfect! The beds were all Memory Foam & super comfortable! Both the living room and bedrooms Have smart TVs linked up to Apple TV with Netflix, Amazon prime TV , Hulu And a bunch of other options. The bathroom has a deep spa jacuzzi bathtub with jets. The kids room has bunkbeds and cool lighting underneath the beds that I know any kid would love! The fireplace is a pellet set up so no logs needed. Our favorite part was the Jacuzzi in the backyard all to ourselves!! We enjoyed the stars every night while sipping wine in the Jacuzzi. This place is so close to everything in town But far enough away to feel like you're in the woods. I didn't find anything the negative reviews said to be true. Honestly if your concerned about anything just reach out to them , I'm so thankful I did. This is a family owned business not a huge franchise chain so I can see how sometimes things aren't perfect but as for my experience I have no complaints. I would definitely stay here again. Here are some tips I recommend 1. Fireplace - To turn it on you need to turn on the thermostat on the wall right above the sofa & Turn on the switch is on the side of the pellet fireplace as well. The fireplace turns off every 15 minutes but all you need to do to turn it back on is hit the switches on the side of the fireplace again. 2.BBQ- You need to bring your own propane tank. The city doesn't allow them to provide one. 3.LOCKING FRONT & BACK DOOR- Getting the doors to lock is a little tricky, after turning the key as far as you can to lock the door, lift the handle all the way up then turn the key again a little more in the same direction . 4.Bring Bikes for when The weather permits. You could hypothetically walk to most everything but I think riding your bike is more realistic because it's like a couple blocks and to turn down the main road. 5. COFFEE- The green tea cabin provides a regular filter style coffee maker. Don't forget your coffee and filters. 6. This place has a full kitchen-OVEN, MICROWAVE and Fridge. 7. SHOWER - To get hot water turn it all the way to the left as far as it will go , give it a minute to warm up.

Not recommended. Better to stay at a reliable chain hotel, or a cabin. Needs many updates and repairs.

Downstairs you pass a little drawbridge with a "moat" (with water!) to a dining area with long table where the kitchenette area is, replete with ice machine, Brita pitcher, sink, mini fridge, microwave, keurig and a restroom. Upstairs is the bedroom, with a gargoyle overlooking and statue of king and queen. Some of the lights and sconces are broken or missing, the knight no longer works. We were tripping out hard when I flipped the switches by the swing and the blue lights and moat began spewing water down fountain by the kitchen. This was amazing. I was literally jumping up and down when we entered the place. I am so impressed by how cool this place is, even with the things over time that have fallen into disrepair the detail overall is nothing short of impressive. Not sure how anyone can complain about something like this. The shower head has a rainfall head, the stones in the shower, to the shape of the mirror, it was all intentional. I saw nothing "icky" in selecting the specific stone-like accoutrements to complement the theme. There's a tv in the bedroom but why would you even wanna watch tv in a castle garden? COME ON! Loved the vaulted ceilings, stained glass windows, flickering lights, ambiance - we put on Celtic music and enjoyed the peace away from the city. This isnt even our first day here I just couldn't wait to update my review. I happened to get his and her house slippers as one of the anniversary gifts for my bf and it worked out perfectly to grace our castle floors. Highly recommended!

I called to schedule our massages and was told, "Sorry, we don't do that". Asked about the spa and said they said it was under renovations. This was after I had booked the stay. You cannot set any apts. up until 24 hrs before your stay. Okay, fine we can outsource the massages, plus it was too late to cancel without losing money. Also 24 hours before check in they send you a message requesting you to pre-register by texting another number. I did and received no responce. It's fine we'll go early and do it in person. We get there to check-in and there is a sign at the front desk, "please text this number for check in. We are helping other guests." Okay, fair we were a bit early (about 50 min). I send off a message. We go off to get some food and wait for a responce. NOTHING! We came back to the hotel after 4 and the same sign was there. This time I call and the manager (I assume) answers and he does a "remote" check in. I now have to give my card info over the phone and get my key out of 1 of the 3 lock boxes located on the outside of the building. Not to excited about that. We get our key and go to the room. Not the room I booked. It smelled old and musty. Booked a King, got 2 queens.. Fine, we can manage. We get settled in and then went to go get dinner. Got back to the room to take an evening swim. This was 7:30 pm. Walked down the hall to the pool and was stopped by 2 cats just roaming. I am good with kitties, but seemed strange at first, then again seemed on par for our experience so far.... Onto the pool. Sign on the door..... pool closes at 6pm. HUH???? At that point we just went back to the room. Tucked in for the night. NEXT MORNING! Went to use the restroom and noticed either blood or poop SMEARED ON THE WALL directly across from the toilet under the towels. YUCK!!! Spouse tried to use the coffe maker in the room and it wouldn't work. Now, I have just about had it. As we were getting dressed to go address everything with the manager, we were both half naked and A STAFF MEMBER WALKS RIGHT INTO OUR ROOM!!!!! ABSOLUTELY DONE! Screamed at him to get out. Now our saftey is in question. We packed our bags and got a refund! This was by far the MOST HORRIFIC experience I have ever had. If I could give no stars I would. False advertising, poor staff etiquette and not to mention a HUGE safty factor if anyone can walk into your room even when it's locked.

Our check-in time was 3:00 pm, and we arrived around 3:30 pm with three tired kids hoping to settle in quickly. Unfortunately, our room wasn't ready, so we waited in the lobby. At 4:00 pm we were assigned a room, but it still wasn't finished -- no sheets on the beds, no pillowcases, crumbs in the sink, and hair in the bathroom like someone had recently shaved. It seemed like there was miscommunication between the front desk and housekeeping. We finally got into a fully cleaned room around 4:30 pm. After a long day of traveling with kids, it was definitely disappointing. That said, the staff members who were working truly made a difference. Joshua, who checked us in, was very apologetic. He was the only person working the front desk at the time. He stayed professional the entire time. A huge shoutout also goes to Edwin, who was working unbelievably hard. We saw him helping with rooms, assisting at breakfast, and keeping things running smoothly. His work ethic really stood out and he deserves recognition. Once we settled in, the hotel had lots of positives: The complimentary s'mores kits were a big hit with the kids. Each kit included four marshmallows, one Hershey's bar, and four graham crackers, wrapped in a festive Thanksgiving bag. The outdoor fireplace courtyard is huge and made the experience even better. This was especially great because the little town of Big Bear tends to close early, so having this activity at the hotel was perfect. The pool area was clean and well maintained, which is also perfect option for family with kids (just a way to entertain them while having fun). The complimentary breakfast was also surprisingly good. The waffles were awesome, and there were plenty of options like cereal, oatmeal, eggs, and potatoes. I would love to see a few more condiments added (like mayonnaise or mustard), but overall it was a great breakfast spread. The room layout was spacious, very comfortable, and perfect for a family. Despite the rocky start at check-in, the hotel has a lot of charm, great amenities, and truly hardworking staff members who care.

It was huge and the water was always super hot and the shower was hot right when I got out of the tub. A little soap goes a very long way with bubbles, proceed with caution. The room and the spa were very clean, there was a sticker on the door with the name of the person and the date that our room was sanitized which was reassuring to me. Once inside it smelled clean and everything looked clean. I did take a bottle of Odoban and did a once over but it was during COVID paranoia. Whenever I stay anywhere I strip the bed and put on my own sheets and blanket but when tearing the bed apart our white linens were very white and clean. I read reviews about a rouge hair or two and myself having very long dark hair I find it silly that it would be a huge deal, even in the most immaculate environment one is bound to pop up, trust me, I know but I understand with COVID everyone needs to be on top of their game with cleanliness. I found the location to be really convenient, it was close to everything we wanted to do. We had several exchanges with the owner, we checked in after midnight and she was friendly and professional. Since we were both working remotely due to COVID we decided we wouod like to stay another night if they could accommodate us and she was very courteous and made the process easy and that extra night actually turned into 3 extra nights! I suppose one could find the rooms dated, I personally felt like they were cute and cozy and felt cabin like,I didn't mind the decor at all. We stayed in cabin 16, I was able to scope out 17 and has been updated recently and is more modern. They both cost the same so I would probably go with 17 it's really the best bang for your buck. Finding our cabin at night was fairly difficult if you are able to check in during the day I would definitely say do that. We eventually found our cabin, they all look the same and aren't marked terribly well. The parking is a bit tight I came straight from buying a new fairly expensive car so I had to park a few different times until I was satisfied I would avoid a door ding but that was probably new car paranoia and if you don't arrive after midnight like a dummy you'll probably have a better chance at choice parking. Once in the cabin I saw there was one of those QR codes on the wall for you to scan and when you do they offer a coupon code that can't be applied retroactively of course so I was kinda bummed by that because it only required a 3 day stay to receive the discount and we stayed over twice that long so perhaps it could have been offered. I found it online as well so before you book look online for coupon codes because they're available. I found booking straight from their website was less expensive than Expedia and the other travel sites. For the price I think this place is unbeatable. Just when you thought I was going to shut up I pop back up... I forgot to mention that one night a family checked into one of the family cabins and they were out until after 10 pm and they were loud eventually I called Cathy at the number she provides for you to call if you need anything and within 5 minutes she had sent someone to take care of the issue. I'm not sure if any of the cabins are pet friendly but I know that the one we stayed in was not and that was really the biggest issue we had. I have a 4 pound Yorkie with separation anxiety and he's grown quite accustomed to going everywhere with me so we had to hire a pet sitter and I really missed my Lil guy! I wish they allowed pets of a certain size with a deposit. Other than that I can't wait until it's time to go back. We went in the last week of April for my birthday and the weather was perfect. Not too cold but you still definitely get that mountain experience and since it's the off season everything is very affordable. Remember to look for that coupon code online and to book through their direct website and the price is unreal.
