If you lived hyperlocally, it would be a great place to supplement your needs if you needed something quickly without the hassle of driving south on 295. Expect organic produce, bulk grains and flours, a simple selection of plant-based options, clean health and beauty products, as well as locally made goods too (and if you're from south of Brunswick, you'll probably discover new-to-you midcoast and downeast brands). I picked up a few things when I stopped by, and had the absolute loveliest chat - about the weather and gardening, of course - with the man behind the counter. Also, shout-out to whoever is choosing the playlist: I know this seems random, but every single person cashing out commented on the tunes!

It's astonishing that I have only been in this store twice, given the fact that I grew up in Brunswick...Anyway, i finally made it in. It's a smaller store, that feels like what you might encounter in a larger city. It was neat and clean. I couldn't really tell how aisles were organized, however, because I was browsing, it didn't stress me out. We encountered one staff member who "assisted" my sister and it was fine, very transactional, which is fine and again, what you might expect in a big city. Staff at the register were fast and efficient, didn't engage in too much conversation, just supportive of fruit pies I purchased. Oh, we also splurged on some locally made sourdough bread and a couple gluten-free vegan cupcakes. So they weren't cheap.. so what? They were both surprisingly delicious for not being made fresh at our home! It's true, you usually get what you pay for and some things are just more expensive because they're made with more expensive ingredients. They're worth a splurge sometimes!
