Noelle is a master at what she does. The location on Exchange Street is unbeatable. Recently, Noelle allowed me to undergo an awesome transformation from bright "Playboy" blonde to a deep brown that I absolutely love. It was a big change that I was nervous about, but Noelle and I talked a lot beforehand to figure out exactly what I was going for, and how best to take care of my hair afterwards. She did this transformation all in one session, and I really appreciate the amount of time and effort she poured in!

And really - all the staff that works there knows my excitement at seeing her! And, even better - now that I have a new little furball of my own - they let me bring her when I come for my service!! First, the location is super convenient for me (I can walk there), they have ample parking, and not only is it a spa - they also have a really great gift shop curated with unique items from candles to jewelry to stationary and more. As for services, I come here to see Kate (Rebel Skin) who keeps my crazy eye brows from being frightening! So - world, you should thank her for that. I have also had a lovely facial with her - leaving my skin well moisturized and glowing. I know they have a variety of aestheticians there - offering a wide array of services. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area! Even if just to pet Kimchi!!!

I have been getting my hair done by Jessica Levecque since I moved to the state of Maine back in…read more2013. I was looking for a new salon, and consulted Yelp to narrow down my options. I had it narrowed down to one, and then I had two choices of stylists when I called to make my appointment. I'm big on the vibe, so I pulled up the website and chose Jessica purely based on the vibe I felt she had in her photo, which was chill but professional. I am SO GLAD I went out on a limb and established with her because my hair has been so much happier since! I have followed her through each step of her career, most recently in her very own space within Mint Salon Block in Scarborough. I have seen her grown tremendously over these past few years, and she has been able to help me through all the different hair colors I have chosen over the years. I had only ever had one shade of blonde hair (my own) when I visited her (with the exception of highlights from time to time) and she was able to convince me to try lowlights the first time I met her (for dimension). I'm glad I trusted her enough to take that jump, because that was just the starting off point. I've been blonde, brunette, dark dark brown with purple, blue, etc, and now copper WHICH I LOVE. She is adventurous and is always up for a challenge. Any time I come to her with a thought, she gladly accepts it and works with me on it. She has a true talent and eye for what looks good for the client, and she hits the mark each and every time. In addition to her amazing technical skills, she is also a joy to be around. She keeps it light, is super fun to talk with, and is attentive to your every need (coffee? water? wine? She's got you covered!). Her space is super cute, totally shows off her style, very chill type of vibe, warm and welcoming. I highly recommend paying her a visit, you will not be disappointed! Jessica Levecque is simply the best!
