During a recent visit to Finland I was in need of a good training ride but hadn't brought a bike with me. I called a couple local bike shops but they didn't rent road bikes. Then, I found Bicyclean on Yelp and gave them a call - "no problem" they said. A quick bus ride to Helsinki and 10 min walk from city center to Katajanokka later I arrived to find a brand new bike in my size set up with the pedals I had requested. The owners were super accommodative and we're able to supply everything I needed (pedals, tube, pump, tire levers, water bottle, etc) for a nice ride along the coast and into the country. A helmet was included with the rental, though I had brought my own. Bicyclean is conveniently located next to the ferry terminals. They have all types of bikes at very reasonable prices. Very small but also very professional bicycle rental. A fine collection of bikes can be hired for fair prize we saw cruisers, city bikes, mini bikes, The owner was very friendly and helpful, he adjusted every bike for the driver and gave good recommendations. This place is fantastic! I bought a REALLY beat up bike from a friend. It had two flat tires and the front brakes didn't work. I thought I'd bring it to a bike shop to see whether it was worth fixing. I was told by other bike shops I would be paying just under 100 euros to get it on the road. Long story short, the owner saw past the flat tires to a decent bike, made a few suggestions, recommended inner tubes (and even ensured my bike pump would work with the tubes), then pumped up the old tires and sent me on my way -- a very happy customer! All this while juggling several other customers. This just became by far my favorite bike shop in the city! You can rent/buy a bike and parts, and get your bike repaired, too.
