WOW!!! The best service I've ever received at a bike shop in Vero Beach.....and I've used all of them. My husband and I took in 2 road bikes for minor repairs and tuneup. We were greeted by very friendly staff. They actually listened to our issues and said they'd have them ready by the next morning. AND they were ready at opening the next day. It was like riding on new bikes. We were so pleased with our experience and their prices were so reasonable! I will continue to use Bicycle Sport for all my bike needs. read more

A great bike shop of sophisticated, seasoned experts. I have a customized old recumbent with carbon fiber parts I built & swapped in, and relatively tiny wheels I selected years ago--not actually knowing what I was getting myself into, meaning the narrower the tire, the rougher the ride. I did manage to take 12 lbs out of the bike, so it's light but delicate. Broke a rear-wheel spoke and they fixed it quickly and gave great advice to keep my wheels in one piece going forward. Possibly moving to fatter rear tire to cushion the ride a bit. read more

I just had an excellent experience at Bicycle Sport. I am visiting my mom's house in Vero, and I am planning on going on a long bike ride later tonight on my old bicycle. But I forgot my padded bike shorts at home, so I came to Bicycle Sport looking for some new ones. I was also hoping to get a new bike saddle (seat) because I was never a fan of my old one. Bevan (sp?) provided me with top-notch customer service. He found me a great pair of padded bike shorts for me to use on my ride. They were a little outside my budget, but he offered to knock $10 off the price. I also told him about my saddle issue. He offered me a used saddle that suited my needs much better than my current one - free for purchasing the bike shorts. That is good customer service. He absolutely made my day. Bevan was friendly, knowledgeable, and he left me in a great mood. I pulled out my handy Alan key set and installed the new bike seat right in the parking lot. It works great. I'm sure it will make me feel much more comfortable on longer bike rides than my old seat, which I always found too thick. I can't wait to try out the new shorts tonight. As far as I'm concerned, Bicycle Sport is the best bike shop in Vero Beach. It's good to know that hidden gems like this still exist. The shop is a little off the beaten path - you have to look for it. But it's well-worth it. I highly recommend Bicycle Sport for all your local bike needs in Vero Beach. Thank you. read more

Nice shop; knowledgeable, and most importantly helpful when I returned with a concern, which turned out to my own bike pumb head. I also like the easy parking and easy access into the shop. They installed my water holder, after I purchased, for free. :D. So helpful for me. They did not ask for a review despite going above and beyond. read more

How has no one reviewed this place yet? Fantastic bike shop with helpful, courteous and knowledgable staff and an enviable list of brands. You can walk in their shop and spend anywhere from a few hundred bucks to north of ten grand and get whatever grade of bike you want. Also a great selection. Of parts, components and other necessities (tires, bars, air canisters, etc) The also support the local race and tri teams, which tells you they're committed to the sport and the local cycling community. A first class selection and shop. We had flown down from NYC with our bikes and I'd lost a caliper washer. These guys gave me a new one, put it on for me, and I had a great conversation while I was there. They gave us a good route recommendation too,so the wife and I could put in a quick 30mi. The stop here allowed us to better enjoy our week in the area. Bicycle Sport should be your go-to spot in the Vero area for bikes, gear and advice. It'll be a place where I make a refusal pit stop when I'm down in the area. read more

We went away for a few days to stay at Sebastian State Park and planned on bikbing while there. As we arrived Saturday evening, I realized my tire was flat. I have tubeless tires and sometimes the sealant tends to get the cap on the core stuck, however my core broke. I was highly disappointed and began to call bike shops in the area but due to late hour only one answered and they didn't even know what I talking about when I asked if they carried the part. Sunday bike shops were closed, so on Monday I got up and started calling early, again another shop didn't even know what part I was spekaing of SMH, and another shop the guy said he'd have the mechanic call me when he got in as he didn't know where the parts are kept. It's Tuesday evening and I'm back home still waiting for that call back, tsk tsk tsk. However, I called Bicycle Sport and the gentleman was so nice over the phone and immediately said he had the part in stock. I took the 35min drive and was out of the shop in less than 5, happy that I'd be able to enjoy riding while on my trip. Both of the gentleman at the store were so nice.
