Maybe too quick. I should have tested out the seat before taking off. It wasn't until I was down at the river walk that I realized I had a problem with my seat. Oh well.... I shoulda / coulda gone back to the shop but I didn't. I knew I wasn't going to last long on the bike with it being so hot outside so I just managed with a loose seat. We did a few miles along the river enjoying the area before I turned into a melty mess with rubber legs. (I had not been on a bike in several years.... Good thing I remembered how. Ha!)

Live almost 3 hours away. Paid for two tires about 2 weeks ago. Received text 9/2/25 that they were…read morein. Took motorcycle in on trailer to have installed. Saw two tires there but one was not the correct one. Salesman went looking for it and stated one tire came in 8/31 and the other 9/2/25 when the other worker stated he texted me. The tire wasn't located and I stated they probably sold it to someone else. Clearly the business's mistake. Salesman said he would order the correct tire and have it next week. I asked if the business was willing to install the tires without cost because it was their error and we drove a long way expecting two new tires. A young manager came out and said the best they could do is charge $10 less than regular cost of installation at $120 per tire and waive some other fee. Then he blamed the error on the shipment when two workers clearly verified that both tires arrived to the business. I called him out about that lie. He then said he can't waive the installation fee because it would come out of the mechanic's pockets. I stated why would he do that to his mechanic when clearly it was the business's mistake not the mechanic. If anyone should eat the cost, it would be him as the manager; he makes more than the employees and he should try to make things right. I also told him he needs to take accountability and own that they made a mistake. He never took responsibility for their mistake. Very disappointed; should've bought tires from Cortez, CO instead. You might want to think twice before going to this place.

Sandstone Cycles was such a positive experience for me after a rather unlucky week. Dom and Shane were nothing but professional and so understanding when I was explained that due to my car being totaled, my bikes were going to be my main form of commute to my new job for a while. Shane stayed late after work to make sure I had my mountain bike back in riding condition, which was a day earlier than I even expected it. He called me after hours to let me know it was done and even waited for me to get there and take it home. He even went above and beyond to itemize the repairs in detail so I could have good proof for my insurance claim. This bike shop is great, as are the people that work there. Fair prices, hard working people, and a bonus is that they were open through the entire weekend to get my bikes ready for the work week commute.
