They also have a good selection of accessories such as baskets, lights, locks and helmets for sale, again at good value for money. The guys that run the shop are very knowledgeable about all cycle-related matters. They are happy to install extras (such as lights and locks) without charging extra for the labour and carry out repairs reliably and promptly.

I found Stort Valley Cycle and they sorted it the first time and the gears have been smooth ever since! The last time I needed something done, I was in a huge time crunch and I was apologetic to the staff, but needed something down quickly before going out of town. Last time I checked you could even get a multi-coloured rickshaw as well and to hire that was about £50 and was used for weddings, events and carnivals. This is a handy little bike shop and workshop located, as you might expect, next to a bus stop. However once you're in, the staff are friendly and helpful, and I think offers good value. The shop is quite small, and has all the essentials, but not much beyond that, so if you are looking for the latest Northwave jersey, you will need to try somewhere else. It is more of a functional shop catering to people who are using their bike to get places rather than purely for exercise or sport. They have a plentiful supply of florescent yellow plastic, which is most important for cycling on London's roads.
