If you book the evening tours, you will miss the sunset. If it's your first time in Argentina, you may find it somewhat challenging to get tickets. We go to Argentina every year so this has been on my list of to-dos for a while now. You can purchase your ticket online. Then you will have to email their office (which is on that confirmation email of your tickets) and ask them to send you a PayPal link to pay for your tickets - this sis specifically for foreigners with non-Argentinian bank. We did that and it was pretty easy. If you're confused, you can also contact them via their WhatsApp and they can help with your tickets. The tour - the tour was excellent. I learned a lot. This is not a palace but more so a tall building which is also a work office building during the day. The elevators are super cool and are very old and reminds me of Harry Potter. The views from the top were fantastic especially during sunset. I got some really cool photos. They also have a photographer on the top you can hire if you want better photos. I think it was like $10 per photo. The lighthouse was also super cool and old. You can see the BA skyline from there and had excellent views. Our guide spoke perfect English and he actually knew so much about art and architecture!

The experience itself is fantastic, you ride the old-school historic elevators, walk through the halls, and even stop inside an active office to see how the space is used today. The climb up to the lighthouse at the peak gives you unbelievable views across the entire city. Plus, the tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging, providing great context on the building's rich history and design significance. Highly recommended!

Viva China! This is a fun side of town located in the…read moreBelgrano neighborhood of Buenos Aires. This is sort of the hub of all Chinese activity throughout BA. It's not just Chinese, we found some Taiwanese and Korean happenings as well. There's a whole bunch of Asian restaurants in here, some stores to get Asian groceries, and a Buddhist Temple. The murals throughout the neighborhood are of things like Pandas and dragons. The large Chinese archway at the entrance to China Town was donated by the Chinese Communist Government. It turns out, they just came in and put it up. Didn't ask anyone, didn't talk to city planners, the neighborhood, just did it. Some people are still miffed about it. "It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission" - Confucius This China Town's easily accessible by train. Easily walkable. Parking looks tough. The inscription on the arch reads: "The Chinese community in Argentina donates with affection this Arch on the occasion of the Bicentennial of May Revolution to the beautiful city of Buenos Aires and the great Argentine people thanking the generosity and love given to Chinese immigrants with the hope that the Chinese-Argentine friendship will last from generation to generation."

It is located the neighborhood of Puerto Madero, crosses over the Rio Dique and is not too far from Casa Rosada. This rotating footbridge was the first work from Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava in Latin America. The key attribute of the bridge is that it represents a couple dancing tango, with the white mast symbolizing the man and the curve of the bridge, the woman.
