Moreover, Hixson's did some wonderful things to personalize the service for my Mom that made us feel so good. For example, they saw in the obituary that we created for my Mom that she loved sewing. So, they displayed a sewing machine and supplies on the guest book registration table. Very personal touch! I was very impressed with their attention to detail on everything. They were excellent at communicating with us throughout the entire process as well. Their facilities are very nice too. In a difficult time, they made everything so easy on us. Called and spoke with Carolyn who got right on it. I felt much better with her assurance and the flower sho'sp ability to complete my order. The burial was the worst I've ever witnessed. It was set up under the patio at Prien Memorial Cemetery. The hurst went to the grave that was undressed-no canopy, no green rug-4 sheets of plywood with dirt , no skirt around stand, visible hole, pile of dirt uncovered, tractor next to the grave. I have 2 other issues, but they are minor compared to these. I spoke to the mgr of Johnson's that stated they would return my call -it's been a month.

My mom went up there to see about the death certificates a week (or maybe 2 weeks) after my sister's funeral and they didn't have them. A secretary said they typed the wrong social security number on it and it wasn't Johnson's fault. I don't know who they were but it wasn't Johnson Funeral Home. Stephen did come out and said he saw the mistake so he rejected it and ordered new ones. We were there on a Tuesday. We were told the new death certificates should be in the next Monday or Tuesday. Three days later my mom gets an email from a lady name Missie saying my mom had to okay the new death certificate. NOTHING HAD CHANGED! My mom didn't reply because we were told there was nothing to worry about and the mistake wasn't Johnson's fault and new certificates were ordered. Monday Missie called and said the death certificate hadn't been approved by my mom and new certificates hadn't been ordered. There should have been communication between Stephen and Missie way before I texted Stephen. I texted him after getting the message from Missie. We were even at Johnson's on the Sunday before Missie called us Monday. Still Stephen didn't say anything about approving the certificates. There's a lack of communication with the employees and then with the customers. We finally got the death certificate 3 weeks after my sister passed. Stephen didn't even ask about the flowers that go on the casket. So my sister's casket didn't have anything on it. It would have been nice to be told or asked about something.

This incompetent cemetery has absolutely no respect for your deceased loved ones, and no respect for the living!
