Each teacher that my children have had go above and beyond to encourage learning and use creative methods to engage the kids. If you are considering this school you should know that they use an accelerated curriculum. I have known quite a few families that moved into the area and had to spend a little extra time initially working with their children to stay with the quicker pace. We were in the same boat too. The French program is fantastic... but I didn't ever consider how my my kids would use their 2nd language (that my wife and I don't speak) to scheme against us . The kids spend 1/2 their day in a traditional class and then have Math, Science and Social Studies in French - by 2nd grade it is only French allowed in the classroom. The kids pick up the language so fast. No school is perfect. But, this school succeeds in having a solid administration, excellent teachers, and very involved parents.
