We'll spare you details of the endless parade of contractors we had to deal with; we were at the end of our rope. Then we decided to hire Mike as our General Contractor; after that, costs went down and quality skyrocketed. What we experienced: - Priority #1: Safe and clean worksite - Mike and Melissa treated the entire project as if it were their own - They considered our needs as if we were family - Detail-oriented but always kept in mind how other parts of the project would be affected - Offered multiple options for every aspect, so we could find the perfect balance of price and quality - Mike was always on-site, supervising the contractors (seriously, from dawn to dusk, I have no idea when this guy sleeps!) - A few of the sub-contractors we hired, before Mike came on the project, had tried to screw us over, intimidating and threatening us; Mike moved quickly and decisively, resolving things in our best interests - A solid network of high-quality contractors - Melissa's understanding of current design / decoration trends helped us find solutions that fit our taste - timeless! I was looking for a person who could fix a drainage problem I've been having in my yard. Two persons told Dean DeSain from Dakmer Services would do the work right & give me a fair price. I called Dean he came out looked at what was there was to do and explained what he could do to fix my issue. He sent me a quote stating the start date would depend on the weather. I signed the contract and sent it back. Dean called after the rain let up to let me know he would start 3-4 days later. He worked in my yard carefully making sure to not tear up the whole thing. He called me every day after he left; as I wasn't home, letting me know what he did and when he would be back weather permitting. He finished before I thought he would. The work he did fixed the issue with my drainage. He was conscientious making sure I knew what he was doing, when he would be back and getting the job done in a reasonable amount of time. Also, under the stated quote. It was nice to have a professional person that I felt comfortable with. I would refer Dean to anyone needing drainage or excavating services.
