I spent a few hours here at the newly renovated Star Alliance Lounge by D5. It's nice. Breakfast had scrambled eggs and bacon along with prosciutto. They make very strong coffee behind the bar.
I think this was a terrible lounge before the renovation. Now all fixed up and it's very neat to see that the review has not reflected the update. I would rate this higher than most of the lounges I've been too, considering how new and less crowded it is. At lunch time families start to show up with little kids and it does get very crowded and noisy.
As a business traveler with two teenage kids, I understand the concept of raising children, but now that I'm older and have kids who are quiet as mouse, I can't stand the noise as it's difficult to work. That's the only complaint about this lounge. They should have a quiet area and one for work area. But then again, not everyone can get into Polaris lounge where it does not allow family unless you all travel in business class, which we did.
