Dr. Liu is our primary doctor but we have seen Dr. Davari for last minute visits due to unexpected illness. Dr. Liu has always been very thorough and conservative in care. She would rather be safe than sorry. After each birth she makes it a point to check in with me as the mom and offer advice and always takes time to answer ask our questions. Dr. Davari has always been very comforting and reassuring each time I have spoken with him on the phone and also when we saw him in person. I feel good knowing that I trust with doctor with the care of my children. I am also very grateful for their after hours answering service. For emergencies they can take messages and forwardd them to the doctor that is on call. This is such a reassuring service!

It's a big deal to me, because more often than not, most doctors in this area either don't respond to messages/voicemail, or will just have you come in, take your co-pay, and then say, well, the illness just needs to run its course (something that could have simply been said on the phone). The office had easy parking which is always a plus, there's even an underground parking lot that allows for shelter from the sun or rain. The staff who works with Dr. Yusung are also equally welcoming and professional. Why does she work in customer service but lacks any type of customer service skills? She is unknowledgeable, dismissive, and rude. My daughter is under two separate insurance plans and I asked to make mine her primary and her dad's secondary, just like how it was at her previous pediatrician's office. She said she couldn't do that because the primary HAS to be my husband's due to his birthday being before mine. I told her that's how it was before and she very confidently said "well you're going to have issues then".. I was with them for 2 years and had no problems, but ok. She shooed me away with a phone number to call, which I did- the UCLA billing department made the switch at the click of a button. I was wanting to establish care with this pediatric office for my daughter, but am reconsidering based on my experience with her. I do need to rave about nurse Natalia- she was so amazing. During the visit the doctor asked if it is okay to check his ear for infection, naturally I said yes. They had to remove a little ear wax to see the inside. A week later i got a bill for $129 to remove ear wax. That is utterly ridiculous. I would have removed it myself if they told me that ahead of time. I've been coming to this office for a couple of years now and it is getting worse. There is no price transparency and many surprises on additional charging. i will not be returning to this office.

We were able to get an appointment the same week. I have two autistic nonspeaking sons who use AAC devices to communicate. Dr. Ng was absolutely wonderful with both of them. He met them where they were, assured them they were safe throughout the appointment and made the entire check-up play-based. It was the best doctor's visit my oldest son has ever had.
