If i needed the services again, I'd drive any distance to be there. All the people are kind and care. I'd like to give a big shout out to Angela Julian. If you want someone who listens and truly cares, she's the one for you. She does listen, it's a fact, she understands, and works to help you take action. She also closely monitors any medications you may be taking , ensuring they are working for you. She doesn't direct, she involves you and makes you feel like a team to improve your life. Good Psychologists and psychiatrists are hard to come by. If you need help, and are struggling, Griffin Hospital and Angela are there for you.

The only reason I'm giving this place 5 stars is for one person in charge only she will always…read moretruly be the best Clinician in the world if only other doctor offices and Griffin faculty could take a lesson from her Samantha you truly care about the patient not there financial status you truly care for your patients you always go above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy if it was to warm in the room the air conditioner went on and she even knew I hated going with the bright lights on she had no problem having the lights off during group that's a true down to earth caring person I will never forget. The first time I went here it was simply phenomenal everyone got along with each other and everyone wanted to see everyone grow and be a better person. The second time around not so much in my opinion the patients would judge the person more just for playing a game on the phone during break time not during the group session when we have to talk no during break time it's not really the other person business anyways everyone is going for themselves not to be picked on for texting or playing a game on the phone when you have that initial break. When I was sitting in my chair one of the patients got up and pretended to kick me in the shin I never had that issue happen to me anywhere with adults in a professional setting. I was really glad Sam stood up for me and took him out of the room and told his ass where to go because it isn't normal for a patient to go up to another patient and start pretending to kick him or say your so angry and can't control yourself when the other person isn't bothering you IOP should be a place of non judgement because if your going some way that causes you to have more anxiety that's not the place anyone with mental health issues should be. I still remember when I was sitting outside having a panic attack at the table by the bathroom and some old worker walked in front of me not even asking are you ok he just continued to walk back and fourth I was like wow nice place. The only person here that always supported me was Samantha even when pot was legal they wanted to breathalyzer me before going in the place why just why Sam made sure to hold the assholes off my back thank you for that? Even the doctor sees me having a panic attack and she didn't care she just went back into her room. The thing that got me here is when I came back for my second week one of female chaplains looked at me in front of everyone and said o you are back Chris is that really any of your business your business should preach and walk and talk like Jesus not worrying it's someone second time around in group that just made everyone else in the room turn and look at me. I mean it's really sad when your patients are complaining there isn't no snacks and there spoiled snacks from last year and Griffin didn't care nice place there was only one worker that did care and made sure everything was perfect and her name was Sam if your looking to feel better mentally just trust Sam because she is the only worker here that will actually take the time to listen and care not to shove a pill down your throat for a paycheck she most definitely deserves a raise working amongst her other workers it has to be stressful doing everyone else job for them. All and all if you need to talk not all the patients in the room here are assholes the second time around there were a few that were not judgemental she actually seen my panic attack and gave me a hug a man doesn't forget ever what happens she was even nice enough to donate 50 bucks twords me getting another bunny that's a true person right there. Sam always did make me feel safe and secure without her in charge the place and the rest of the staff in charge is a shit show plain and simple. One thing I can say Sam you deserve your own office if I was you have the patients you have now and swap them to a place your running in charge because you care for the patient not what's in there Pocket.

Good listener and I feel like I get good therapy. I had less success with others in the practice including Maria Merola, APRN. It's very important to have the right doctor. And I have to knock the practice down a star because they can be difficult to reach at times and you usually can't leave a message with the answering service. This has been frustrating at times. But Dr. Jean-Baptiste is excellent.

Dr. JB, as I fondly call him, was the most thorough, empathetic, and trustworthy Psychiatrist I had ever met. He had a complete neurological work-up completed on me to rule out any physical causes of my symptoms. He spent a great deal of time with me, asking questions no one had asked before. Then, he met with my husband and I to share the results. He explained my diagnosis, and said it would be very difficult to determine which treatment plan would work, and that we'd have to make adjustments to that plan for the rest of my life. He promised that if I didn't give up on him, he wouldn't give up on me. And he meant it. All these years later, although I am now disabled, I live a much more stable life, because I've learned what I must do, and what I must avoid to stay as well as possible. Dr. JB partners with my Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Therapist, and also works with my other specialists. He knows my needs. He has shown my family a great deal of support as well. I highly recommend him for anyone with a mental illness. If you are willing to work hard toward recovery, you will find he will work equally as hard to assist you in every way he possibly can.

I was asking for my PM MEDS I REGULARLY take as they…read morewere going to be admitting Me for a procedure In the AM. so I told her I take them around 9 PM here it is nearly 2 AM five hours later and my heart's racing because I didn't take my night meds as she sits there eating an apple and passing the buck with excuses which I can't stand passing the excuses get up and look get up and do something get up and find out you're getting paid you work here when I worked as a nurse in the hospital I worked my ass off for patients because I actually cared .. now a furthermore 2 girls on a stretcher in the hall coughing non stop .. if contagious should be in a private room with door shut or at least have mask up to prevent any spread . I'm now a practitioner so I've seen many years of hospital care workers . Griffen Health I like you please check into the RNs doing the correct procedure. I have a Lobg history in medical field and family in law enforcement Shelton, and family in Mayoral position in ShElton . Please do better. as I want to continue to trust the service provided by Griffin Health .. Respectfully

am currently staying in the hospital The e.r doctor in the…read moree.d are always amazing Especially a tall lady with glasses I for got her name she is absolutely amazing but i only seen her once also the nurses in the ed are great some not all but there's 2 e.r drs who treat me like a Dog there names was dr Q and dr Ryan I had surgery 10 months ago on my back it was a unsuccessful surgery that left me with chronic pain and arthritis in my back yesterday lest week while in excruciating pain from a very bad fall the lady the glasses was absolutely amazing well she left and then DR Q TOOK OVER started off by lying that he looked at my x-ray when he never did. I asked him to see if I had a cracked rib from the fall. He went to somebody else's room for a patient. Came back out never touched. The computer. Told me he looked at it. You're absolutely fine. We can't do nothing for you. Go to your pain management. So I listen to him I did that my pain management can't help me until September 6 I stood out of the hospital for four days and excruciating pain barely walking I could not have took the pain anymore so I went back THAT'S WHAT I MEANT DR. RYAN his opening statement to me after waiting for him to come for two hours was I'm gonna give you 1 mg of the Daludid (Mind you am 300 pounds 1 mg does nothing) And after I give you the 1 mg I'm gonna discharge Pain was so bad I did not sleep for five days He couldn't wait to get me out of the room never ran a test never seen. Nothing did not care for nothing. He just wanted me gone. He was trying to distract me against my will while I was still in excruciating pain, crying in bed. Q came back in the room After I requested him for over 3 hours He walk in and told me u should wait for September 6th appointment with pain management mind yous August 22 He tried to discharge me and put me in the hallway to wait in the hallway mind you am rollled up in a ball crying i apelled that decision and ended up Admitting me upstairs since I been here they treated me worst then the e.r Am still in the hospital every nurse is lying thru there teeth and the drs don't give a Crap One nurse told me if we give you a 100 ml of tramadol youll have kidney failure so I demanded to talk too dr he came in the roon he asked me how much milligrams I took at home. I told him 100 he said OK I'm here. It's at 50 so I told him, but your nurse said that this could cause me kidney failure. He laughed and said no this won't cause your kidney failure She had no right to tell you that
