Dr Peela is an amazing pediatrician. We are very fortunate to have her as our pediatrician. She deeply cares for the children, and goes above and beyond. I would like to highlight our experience during emergency and how doctor supported us during that: 1. ER incident: Our daughter had an ER incident and doctor was available throughout. She worked outside of her normal working hours to speak with the ER doctor and plan the next steps, provided doctors note immediately for our medical leave and had multiple followup appointments. It was a huge relief for us to have her be available! 2. Ear infection: our daughter had 2 incidents of ear infection. During both the times, doctor has been made herself available to meet with us on the same day and also at times outside of office hours. Somehow she always manages to make time for us when we need despite her busy schedule. I know some people have complained about the wait times. I have experienced this few times only, most of the time the wait is not more than 15 mins. Dr Peela will go above and beyond, especially in any emergency situations for children she will make herself available. I feel that some wait time for such a great care is well worth it! I strongly recommend Dr Peela. read more

Dr. Peela is good, but her staff is totally incompetent. They don't follow through on referrals properly. Getting a simple referral from them takes about three weeks, and it takes another month for them to send it to the right hospital. read more

I was very disappointed with my experience at the front desk. Despite arriving early for our appointments on multiple occasions and waiting for an hour, we were unfortunately not shown the same flexibility when we were running late due to unforeseen circumstances. When we arrived 15 minutes behind schedule due to a car crash, our appointment was canceled, even though we were already at the clinic. I was hoping for more understanding and accommodation in this situation, given we're working parents and take time off work for our appointments. 0/5, wouldn't recommend read more

Dr. Peela is amazing and caring with her patients. She listens to patient concerns. I can feel her empathy and compassionate care

Amazing pediatric! Dr. Peela, seeing my kids since they were born, we appreciate the beyond and above care. Dr. Peela is not only knowledgeable but also approachable. I feel comfortable asking questions and discussing my concerns. The office and staff are doing great in promptly responding to our calls or messages. I can't imagine changing kids doctor. read more

I am not happy with my experience. The hospital staff were kind of reckless and they were not serious about the exams they were doing. The doctor doesn't respond to messages and calls. In my case, she said she would order some tests for my daughter. But she never did even after following up multiple times over messages and phone calls. read more

Dr. Peela has been our baby's pediatrician since newborn stage. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient and professional when communicating with parents, and well trained in her medical background. Our baby is very healthy and we appreciate her check up visits with the MA, nurses, and Dr. Peela every time. The only complaint is that appointments are very long and late at times because the office has a lot of patients to see. read more

1. Receptionists at the doctors office is worst. Very unhelpful and rude . doesn't convey messages, doesn't get back , lacks empathy. 2. Waiting time at the doctor office has always been 45min to 1 hour despite having booked appointment and is treated as normal . Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone read more

We really appreciate Dr. Peela for going above and beyond for all of her patients, including the parents. She always makes sure to take the time to answer all questions and makes herself available. As a first time parent, I have many questions and everything seems to be of concern. However, Dr. Peela remains patient and makes sure all my concerns are addressed. I can't thank her enough. She is not judgmental when it comes to decision-making from the parents. She empowers us with knowledge so we can make what we feel is the best decision for our child. I had some concerns regarding the service, especially the care by the medical assistants and customer service from the unit clerks. Their senior manager Kelly did not delay in addressing the issues. She listened, was not defensive and took accountability. Whatever huddle or changes she implemented was definitely felt in this recent visit. All staff were appropriate and polite. The new medical assistant Kim had good bedside manner. read more

We've been going to Dr Peela for my baby's entire life (18 mo) she has helped us navigate parenthood really well, been there for us to answer our questions without judgement. She is caring and patient - highly recommend! read more

Dr. Peela is a wonderful and very knowledgeable pediatrician. She gave very good advice to me during my daughter's 1st year of life: the difficult infant years. I needed some guidance as a first time mother and her tips were important. She was also available after-hours, once even as late as 10 pm as I called her in a panic. She has empathy as she's a mom too. read more

We are so blessed to get a doctor like "Peela bhaskari ", We really so happy having this so nice , polite and very soft spoken doctor . We Recommend this doctor to everyone. read more

Where do I begin? Being a first time parent can be so scary at times. However, Dr. Peela puts our worries to ease. She is the best thing that has happened to us since the baby. She is on top of it. She follows up and follows through. She gives soo much attention and care to us as if we are her only patients. I can't recommend her enough. read more

I don't have complaints about Dr Bhaskari Peela as a doctor but there is no proper communication tool with the doctor. There are times when we need to ask doctors questions which don't fall under emergency but still needs answers, but there is no such facility there.Wenever we send any message in their portal the doctor never receives it,it goes to their cache. When I bought this up with the doctor she gave her private number n told to message if anything is important.but she doesn't always message back.I know the doc can be busy but we still need answers regarding our kids.there is no one on behalf of the doctor who can answer her questions like a nurse. Also the receptionist there are very rude n they talk as if they don't care.I gave them many chances but finally changed my kid's paediatrician because I was not at all happy with their customer service and lack of communication tool.If you want someone who will answer your queries regarding your kids promptly I won't recommend her read more

Love the doctor service. But the customer service. ANDREA to be specific. Horrible customer service. Makes you wait on hold for longer than 15 minutes (not exaggerating) from the second she answers the phone she is so rude. Just because i love the dr Otherwise i would not recommend this place. !!! read more

This review is for the receptionist by name Paloma Q ..she is very rude and not helpful at all..she misguides the parents..She should be replaced with someone more compassionate and well behaved! read more

Where do I begin? When we had our 3rd daughter at the end of 2018, I wasn't sure of where to start looking for a good local pediatrician. When I gave birth, the pediatrician at the hospital overseeing new babies had recommended Dr. Peela. Historically, Washington Hospital hasn't had a good track record nor have I had pleasant experiences myself. So, I took the advice because I needed to have an immediate follow up Post delivery. When I scheduled my first visit 4 days post delivery, I had already made the assumption that I would need to find another doctor because my experience would probably be bad......Well, I have to say that this was far from it and we are beyond happy with Dr. Peela after our first appointment. Her bedside manner, soft spoken voice, advice, knowledge and overall care was beyond superb. She takes her time with us at each appointment and we never feel rushed, NEVER! That in itself is something rare nowadays and worth mentioning. She really cares and listens! Our baby is now 4 months and after several appointments now under our belt we can happily say we are not changing doctors. You could not pay us to change from her. If your looking for great pediatric care - she's it, she really is. Hope this helps your quest for a doctor and stops with her read more

I came out of 6 months of Yelp hibernation because I can not believe how bad their customer service is. I called this place and was put on hold for 20 minutes (not exaggerating at all). When she finally got on the phone, Andrea was rude from the minute she answered. As a business owner, i can not imagine hiring someone who would be this rude to a potential new patient. Bottom Line: Go find another doctor's office!!! read more

The doctor is pleasant, but one of the front desk workers is the worst. She will always keep you on hold and not give an appointment even if one exists. As a workaround, we keep calling until the other front desk person picks up our call. read more

Dr Peela is really nice and have a great experience. We started to visit her the first day our son was born. Office stuff is really nice too. And I have no complains at all, except one thing - that it's not easy to make an appointment. Because she is really overbooked almost for 3 weeks ahead. And it's kind hard to get a call back if you have some questions or need some doctor's advice about your kid. Twice she called back only next day. But when we needed urgent care cause our son got his first cold and we didn't know what to do - she was open and took us during an hour. read more

This review is in regards to the medical assistant working there. She was extremely rude to us and even never gave us a courtesy reminder the day before. We had an appointment already booked and when we brought our daughter to the clinic they said they don't have us down as being scheduled. Also they wouldn't even work with us to try to get us fitted into that day's schedule. So we drove all the way just to be told to go back home and make a scheduling appointment again. read more

Dr Peela was my sons pediatrician when we were staying in evergreen San Jose. She is amazing and very nice and my son was very comfortable with her. My son always had fear of doctors but she had changed the situation and my son always looks happy to see her. She is no longer in San Jose and we are missing her. I would definitely recommend her as your child's pediatrician. read more

I would like to give Dr. Peela kudos. She is an amazing pediatrician who loves her patients. I would have no problem highly recommending her to any parent. She takes her time whether it be a Physical or a sick visit. She gives her all to her little people. It shows that she enjoys her career as a kid doctor. We love you Dr. Peela. Dr. Peela is a amazing doctor! I love that she is caring, kind and my boys love her. She takes her time to answer all your question at my appointments and is not rushing through the visit. She has a great bedside manner. I have called her after hours and received a call back from Dr Peela her self that same night. When i call and my boys are sick she has always fit them in or can give me the best advise. When i leave a message it is returned in a timely manner. I feel that she has made this office amazing! I recommend her to everyone looking for a amazing doctor that really cares for your child. read more

Dr.Peela is amazing. I take both my kids to her. Every visit with her was very pleasant. She patiently takes time to answer my questions every single time, unlike others only spending time for only new patient visits. She is very knowledgeable and really tries to evaluate and come up with a solution when in need. She gives tips that makes my life easy while handeling my little ones. I had travel plans and she proactively suggested all the safety measures that I need to take, even before I asked. Highly recommend her to everyone. read more

Dr. Peela is an amazing person. She is truly caring and tries her best for her patients. My newborn son was showing symptoms of GERD and scheduled an appointment with Dr. huang since she has the soonest opening. The next day, Dr. Peela called us to ask how our son is doing and gave us suggestions over the phone to help our son. We love her and Dr. huang. read more

I have mix feeling about this place. I started coming here bc of Dr. Amy T. I love her but she left and I was left with another Dr. there. The male front office person was very nice and helpful. In fact I think I selected this place bc of his pleasant n helpful tone when I initially called to look for a pediatrician. However I have billing issues ever since I started. They don't know what they are doing. For 2 years I keep getting billed fully bc the told me to put Dr. Peela's name instead of Amy and every time they schedule another doctor bc it was the only open n nearest time slot available I get billed differently again. My son had the wrong height documented on 2 different occasions. I called the after hour number once bc my sons head was injured n bleeding but the nurse on call was callus and put me on hold for long period of time (to teach me a lesson bc I said "are you kidding me?" While she continues to not get my sons name right 4x in a roll... while I was frantic and distressed!!! Dr. Peela was ok when she is available. Although I don't like her, for lack of a better word, style. She did not ask about my sons growth and development or talk w me about his milestones... maybe I was spoiled by my previous pediatrician. Too bad she is in the city and too far from fremont. read more

Dr Peela is amazing! She fit us in same day (a couple of times) when our son was really sick. She also is knowledgable and cares about her patients. This office is great because dr. Peela and dr. Tun have an after hours number where you can call them if you need to! Really hard to find good doctors in the Bay Area that you can trust, and I really like both doctors in this office. 5 stars! read more

We had our 2nd baby girl and had our first 2 follow up visits with Dr. Peela and she is a wonderful pediatrician! Her bed side manner was pleasant, kind, thoughtful, sincere and she is non judgmental with her questions as to how things are going with newborn at home. She is proactive and will address common newborn happenings whether you are experiencing them or not. She offers wonderful breast feeding tips and tricks. She is also a mother herself so she can relate. I'm so glad to have her as my daughters pediatrician! The office staff and medical assistants there are great too! They are sweet and do a great job! read more

Today, we had a first pediatrician appointment for our newborn. Dr Peela is amazing, she takes time to listen and respond to all questions. Her medical knowledge, attitude and care towards children is excellent. I highly recommend to consider Dr Peela, if you are looking for pediatrician. We were very happy with our first baby checkup. Looking forward to have similar experience in our upcoming doctor visits. Wait time over call to schedule an appointment is little bit longer than expected but I hope it's only during initial appointment schedule, since we got next appointment date while checkout. read more

I must say this office is very busy but they still manage to make you feel priority which is a great thing. I have been bringing my child here this past year and I love it. I am a first time mom so many things are new to me. You can really feel the love from Dr.Peela. I know she always takes her time with my baby and always answers all my questions she is so patient. I love how she does not rush through my appointments but takes her time to answer all my questions. I love how the lady in the front already knows my child's name when we walk in. I go to Dr. Peela I'm Fremont and when she is booked I like to see Dr. Nguyen in Union City (he is closer to my house) I love them both they are very thorough and I know they care about my baby. Overall great office, Ladies here are friendly. read more

Dr.Peela is one of the finest doctors in pediatric group. We had so many questions in our initial days of baby care and used to call her very often and she used to answer very patiently. At times when the kid is sick she fits in same day inspite of her very busy schedule. She provides so many alternatives to a particular problem. On the day of 15 month vaccine for our kid we were waiting in the hallway to be checked upon by the nurse. Our daughter was running with slight fever so we didn't know whether we could vaccinate her or not and we had only vaccine appt with nurse not the wellness check with Dr. Peela. The doctor was making rounds and happened to see our daughter and she went on to make her usual rounds. After 10 mins, her assistant comes to us and says Dr. Peela wants to see you. Dr spotted something was not right with the kid. She checked her to find that our daughter had ear infection and started medication soon. If Not for the doctor who happened to spot the kid and give an appt to check on her, the infection could have worsened. Make no mistake she has a lot of patience to hear all your complains even when you are repeating time and again and provides the correct diagnosis. There were times we placed emergency calls at 2 in the night she calls back right away to check what is happening. We have seen doctors who become very annoyed when we ask multiple questions but Dr. Peela is very patient in hearing you out which we think is one of the finest qualities of any doctor. The most positive thing abt this group is they try to fit in as close as possible and not make you wait for weeks. The office staff is most courteous. Within checkin time of 5 mins usually the doctor attends you. I would high recommend Dr. Peela and her staff. read more
