Dr Peela is an amazing pediatrician. We are very fortunate to have her as our pediatrician. She deeply cares for the children, and goes above and beyond. I would like to highlight our experience during emergency and how doctor supported us during that: 1. ER incident: Our daughter had an ER incident and doctor was available throughout. She worked outside of her normal working hours to speak with the ER doctor and plan the next steps, provided doctors note immediately for our medical leave and had multiple followup appointments. It was a huge relief for us to have her be available! 2. Ear infection: our daughter had 2 incidents of ear infection. During both the times, doctor has been made herself available to meet with us on the same day and also at times outside of office hours. Somehow she always manages to make time for us when we need despite her busy schedule. I know some people have complained about the wait times. I have experienced this few times only, most of the time the wait is not more than 15 mins. Dr Peela will go above and beyond, especially in any emergency situations for children she will make herself available. I feel that some wait time for such a great care is well worth it! Dr. Peela is good, but her staff is totally incompetent. They don't follow through on referrals properly. Getting a simple referral from them takes about three weeks, and it takes another month for them to send it to the right hospital. read more

I was very disappointed with my experience at the front desk. Despite arriving early for our appointments on multiple occasions and waiting for an hour, we were unfortunately not shown the same flexibility when we were running late due to unforeseen circumstances. When we arrived 15 minutes behind schedule due to a car crash, our appointment was canceled, even though we were already at the clinic. I am not happy with my experience. The hospital staff were kind of reckless and they were not serious about the exams they were doing. The doctor doesn't respond to messages and calls. In my case, she said she would order some tests for my daughter. But she never did even after following up multiple times over messages and phone calls. read more

Dr. Peela has been our baby's pediatrician since newborn stage. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient and professional when communicating with parents, and well trained in her medical background. Our baby is very healthy and we appreciate her check up visits with the MA, nurses, and Dr. Peela every time. The only complaint is that appointments are very long and late at times because the office has a lot of patients to see. read more

We really appreciate Dr. Peela for going above and beyond for all of her patients, including the parents. She always makes sure to take the time to answer all questions and makes herself available. As a first time parent, I have many questions and everything seems to be of concern. However, Dr. Peela remains patient and makes sure all my concerns are addressed. I can't thank her enough. She is not judgmental when it comes to decision-making from the parents. She empowers us with knowledge so we can make what we feel is the best decision for our child. I had some concerns regarding the service, especially the care by the medical assistants and customer service from the unit clerks. Their senior manager Kelly did not delay in addressing the issues. She listened, was not defensive and took accountability. Whatever huddle or changes she implemented was definitely felt in this recent visit. All staff were appropriate and polite. I don't have complaints about Dr Bhaskari Peela as a doctor but there is no proper communication tool with the doctor.There are times when we need to ask doctors questions which don't fall under emergency but still needs answers, but there is no such facility there.Wenever we send any message in their portal the doctor never receives it,it goes to their cache. When I bought this up with the doctor she gave her private number n told to message if anything is important.but she doesn't always message back.I know the doc can be busy but we still need answers regarding our kids.there is no one on behalf of the doctor who can answer her questions like a nurse. Also the receptionist there are very rude n they talk as if they don't care.I gave them many chances but finally changed my kid's paediatrician because I was not at all happy with their customer service and lack of communication tool.If you want someone who will answer your queries regarding your kids promptly I won't recommend her read more

Where do I begin? When we had our 3rd daughter at the end of 2018, I wasn't sure of where to start looking for a good local pediatrician. When I gave birth, the pediatrician at the hospital overseeing new babies had recommended Dr. Peela. Historically, Washington Hospital hasn't had a good track record nor have I had pleasant experiences myself. So, I took the advice because I needed to have an immediate follow up Post delivery. When I scheduled my first visit 4 days post delivery, I had already made the assumption that I would need to find another doctor because my experience would probably be bad......Well, I have to say that this was far from it and we are beyond happy with Dr. Peela after our first appointment. Her bedside manner, soft spoken voice, advice, knowledge and overall care was beyond superb. She takes her time with us at each appointment and we never feel rushed, NEVER! That in itself is something rare nowadays and worth mentioning. She really cares and listens! Our baby is now 4 months and after several appointments now under our belt we can happily say we are not changing doctors. You could not pay us to change from her. I came out of 6 months of Yelp hibernation because I can not believe how bad their customer service is. I called this place and was put on hold for 20 minutes (not exaggerating at all). When she finally got on the phone, Andrea was rude from the minute she answered. As a business owner, i can not imagine hiring someone who would be this rude to a potential new patient. This review is in regards to the medical assistant working there. She was extremely rude to us and even never gave us a courtesy reminder the day before. We had an appointment already booked and when we brought our daughter to the clinic they said they don't have us down as being scheduled. Dr Peela was my sons pediatrician when we were staying in evergreen San Jose. She is amazing and very nice and my son was very comfortable with her. My son always had fear of doctors but she had changed the situation and my son always looks happy to see her. She is no longer in San Jose and we are missing her. Dr Peela is really nice and have a great experience. We started to visit her the first day our son was born. Office stuff is really nice too. And I have no complains at all, except one thing - that it's not easy to make an appointment. Because she is really overbooked almost for 3 weeks ahead. Dr. Peela is a amazing doctor! I love that she is caring, kind and my boys love her. She takes her time to answer all your question at my appointments and is not rushing through the visit. Dr.Peela is amazing. I take both my kids to her. Every visit with her was very pleasant. She patiently takes time to answer my questions every single time, unlike others only spending time for only new patient visits. I have mix feeling about this place. I started coming here bc of Dr. Amy T. I love her but she left and I was left with another Dr. there. The male front office person was very nice and helpful. In fact I think I selected this place bc of his pleasant n helpful tone when I initially called to look for a pediatrician. However I have billing issues ever since I started. They don't know what they are doing. For 2 years I keep getting billed fully bc the told me to put Dr. Peela's name instead of Amy and every time they schedule another doctor bc it was the only open n nearest time slot available I get billed differently again. My son had the wrong height documented on 2 different occasions. I called the after hour number once bc my sons head was injured n bleeding but the nurse on call was callus and put me on hold for long period of time (to teach me a lesson bc I said "are you kidding me?" While she continues to not get my sons name right 4x in a roll... while I was frantic and distressed!!! Dr. Peela was ok when she is available. Although I don't like her, for lack of a better word, style. She did not ask about my sons growth and development or talk w me about his milestones... maybe I was spoiled by my previous pediatrician. I must say this office is very busy but they still manage to make you feel priority which is a great thing. I have been bringing my child here this past year and I love it. I am a first time mom so many things are new to me. You can really feel the love from Dr.Peela. I know she always takes her time with my baby and always answers all my questions she is so patient. We had our 2nd baby girl and had our first 2 follow up visits with Dr. Peela and she is a wonderful pediatrician! Her bed side manner was pleasant, kind, thoughtful, sincere and she is non judgmental with her questions as to how things are going with newborn at home. She is proactive and will address common newborn happenings whether you are experiencing them or not. She offers wonderful breast feeding tips and tricks. Dr.Peela is one of the finest doctors in pediatric group. We had so many questions in our initial days of baby care and used to call her very often and she used to answer very patiently. At times when the kid is sick she fits in same day inspite of her very busy schedule. She provides so many alternatives to a particular problem. On the day of 15 month vaccine for our kid we were waiting in the hallway to be checked upon by the nurse. Our daughter was running with slight fever so we didn't know whether we could vaccinate her or not and we had only vaccine appt with nurse not the wellness check with Dr. Peela. The doctor was making rounds and happened to see our daughter and she went on to make her usual rounds. After 10 mins, her assistant comes to us and says Dr. Peela wants to see you. Dr spotted something was not right with the kid. She checked her to find that our daughter had ear infection and started medication soon. If Not for the doctor who happened to spot the kid and give an appt to check on her, the infection could have worsened. Make no mistake she has a lot of patience to hear all your complains even when you are repeating time and again and provides the correct diagnosis. There were times we placed emergency calls at 2 in the night she calls back right away to check what is happening. We have seen doctors who become very annoyed when we ask multiple questions but Dr. Peela is very patient in hearing you out which we think is one of the finest qualities of any doctor. The most positive thing abt this group is they try to fit in as close as possible and not make you wait for weeks. The office staff is most courteous. Within checkin time of 5 mins usually the doctor attends you. I would high recommend Dr. Peela and her staff. read more
