Mr Sorrell Gillespie remodeled my kitchen during June - August 2023 and I want to warn other people…read moreabout his poor management, coordination, and communication skills. He replaced flooring, ceiling lights, installed cabinets and countertops, and kitchen appliances as well as breaking a wall into the adjoining room. On day one he told me to be ready for the plumber, and I was, and moved items out of the plummer's way only to have Mr Gillespie call me about an hour before the was to arrive to tell me that something went wrong and he could not come and that the electrician was coming instead. I had to rush and move things out of the electrician's way causing stress and frustration. This is an example of the entire timeline of the project. Terrible planning and crew management. On many days no one showed up until I called him and then they would show. On a few occasions no one would show up during the workweek without letting me know. When they removed the flooring they found extra layers of old flooring. They did not show for 2 days after their discovery then continued with the floor. At one point Mr. Gillespie showed me where the floor was not completely flat due to the extra layers and his fix of this issue and I thought this would be alright and something I could live with. Now I have many places, not just the one spot he showed me, where the floor is completely warped. On 2/1/24 one of the corners of the tile chipped off. Today is April 24, 2024 and the last time I asked him to come to evaluate the floor and what can be done was 2/1/24. I have not heard from him since and I wanted to be sure I gave him more than enough time to contact me before complaining about his bad workmanship and terrible management. And both myself and my spouse contacted him in February and we're still waiting for his reply. He stated he wanted to contact the flooring company to see if they still manufacture my tiles. We both have the texts in our phones to prove this timeline.
