Our choices for dinner (day before reservation) were seating at 6:15 or earlier or 9:15 or later so reservations well in advance are recommended. We started with cocktails (& they had a few creations) & had a "Buried in Sand" and a "Holy Mule-" Both excellent! Our server was helpful & made some wonderful suggestions once she found out it was our first visit. All the dishes (small & large) are great for sharing. As it seemed a staple of the menu (that changes daily) as well one of their specialties we decided to start with the Bastard Planka. A nice variety of house cured ham, salami, chorizo, pate & pickles-one of the best I've ever had. Also ordered the Klemmings Oysters as our second starter. So fresh, salty & exquisite! For main we ordered the Cod & the Munka Pork (as Pork is their specialty). Cod was cooked to perfection and the Pork had a crust that took it to another level. Both dishes were amazing! We finished with the Pistachio Ice Cream and Paris -Brest. Loved them both but the Paris-Brest is a must try! My only regret is not getting here sooner. Wonderful vibe with great service! They also have a bar area (open kitchen) where you can grab a seat to try some of the entrees or just have a cocktail, beer or glass of wine if they are fully booked. Will definitely be back. Michelin rating well deserved!

Spent my…read moreholiday season going to the Nordic countries and imo, this was by far the best meal on the entire trip. Had their famous Swedish meatballs and they were divine! I had this particular dish 5x throughout my trip in Sweden and this was by far the ultimate winner. The meatballs had a perfect texture with just the right amount of gravy and the lingonberry sauce was so fresh that all the berries were still intact. Not sure if I've ever had this dish before but had their Gravlux. If I ever had this dish before, all memory of it was erased with theirs. Cognacured with the best honey mustard I've ever had and the perfectly seasoned mini cream dill potatoes My only complaint is that they haven't decided to come to the USA, particularly Los Angeles. =)

Walking in they can quickly find you seating in an otherwise appearing busy restaurant. Staff quickly takes drink and food orders and for the short wait you can enjoy the rich and luxurious atmosphere with ornate wallpaper and decorations surprisingly complimented by the very low American/UK pop music in the background. With food this good, I understand why there are only 3 things on the menu. The meatballs were perfectly complimented with each item and combined for that perfect bite. My partner said these were the best meatballs of his life! And I could have lived my life off of their mashed potatoes. Once finished, paying is a breeze and staff cordially bids you farewell. A must if you're in the area

The red and green bell peppers were cooked but still had a little crunch. It's a cozy place with super nice people. It appears to be family run. A suggestion for the owner, if you add Fresh rolls with shrimp, thinly sliced cucumbers and a touch of mint to the menu, it would be very popular here. I will be telling everyone about this place

Remember the lighting was very bright and some of the furniture could use a refresh. We started with some Thai beer (Chang-Pale Lager) & wine (also have a good selection of Thai mixed drinks (non-alcoholic) & ordered the spring egg (Varullar) roll appetizer (6). The rolls were crispy with a nice balance of protein and veggie filling. Dipping it in the sweet sauce mixed with their chili powder made for a tasty appetizer. I wanted a spicy noodle dish and our server recommended Kothiaw Haeng (#30) it was tasty and spicy with a good balance of the fried rice noodles and veggies (although I added some of the chili powder to increase the heat) chicken was also good once mixed with the chili sauce. The rest of the party ordered Kothiaw Nam (#21), Pad Sihio (#35) & Pad Med Ma-Him Mu Paan (#45) and were happy with their entrees. Prices were reasonable at about $14-15 USD for most entrees and seafood/duck dishes slightly higher. Dessert looked good but we ended up not ordering-didn't have room. Good space between courses & service was attentive and friendly.

This beautiful 16th Century brick and stone building was erected in the old town square as Malmo's Rådhuset (City Hall), with its basement vaults (where the restaurant is) dating back to 1546 with some of them once actually used as a dungeon-prison. Because of the original Rådhuset's many offices, courtrooms, record chambers and halls, the building's transformation into an eating & drinking establishment created a restaurant of many rooms and parlors, some very private for small groups and others rather large and grand. There's even a 450 year old library that one can dine in. Of course, every corner has been refurbished for its new incarnation (a century ago) as the restaurant we see today: the Rådhuskällaren. Below is a list of the historic rooms that you can eat in - The town hall basement which can seat 250 people and is composed of: St. Knuts Källare (seats 100 people), the Large vault (seating 65), the Little vault (seating 8), The hunting cellar (seating 60), and the Library (which seats 40). There's also 18 other seats spread about in nooks and crannies. The Rådhuskällaren's menu consists of well prepared traditional Swedish fare, much like my Swedish grandmother used to make on special occasions (she was a professional private chef for a rich family a century ago). Unfortunately the Rådhuskällaren's menu has been reduced significantly since I came here with my family long before COVID. Still, there are plenty of options and each meal has three or more courses whether a "Set Menu" or "a la Carte". This historic restaurant is well worth a visit. And be sure to ask Lena for a tour of the place. "Skol".

AYCE sirloin, pork loin and chicken breast, and Swedish salad bar. I have discovered caper berries at the salad bar, which are spectacularly delicious!!! I probably ate $25 of those alone... And their house specialty dessert- lemon custard with bread and fruit in a mason jar, really tasty. Way way way better than the arstiderna.
