Went to this location closer to where I was going to shop. First loud booming music for a class, I had to turn up my volume to drown it out. I just joined as part of my Active and Fit membership and the gym now called BFit by Bob's more than met my expectations. The staff was friendly and the gym was much larger than I expected. Besides the cardio and weight areas there is a circuit room by the locker rooms, and hydro massage chairs. I'm fussy when it comes to my preferred elliptical equipment and BFit has some older Precor machines which is exactly what I like. I've tried some newer equipment elsewhere and found that they were harder for me to use. Call me old school but I'll support any gym with a Precor elliptical. Also, I went at mid-day and it wasn't crowded at all which is big plus for me as well. read more

If you are looking for a gym that is affordable, has classes all day and personal trainers for less than $50 per month- this is the gym for you. You can pay for the lower tier and go to one gym or pay for the higher one and go to all locations. Not only that but you can attend their classes for free, get some personal trainer sessions and enjoy a hydro massage. Everyone is so friendly and willing to help. Love this little gym!!! read more

Only reason I was hesitant about this gym is because there wasn't pictures of the inside. I'm from California and I've gone to TONS of gyms out there. After getting here, and having a solid workout. I'm not going to any other gym in Newburgh! I couldn't be happier with this gym. Nice equipment, clean, good space, good prices too! Keep it up you guys! THEY ALSO HAVE MAG GRIPS! Bob's Gym seems to be a pretty tight knit community. The have great equipment. The pool was nice. The staff also respectful. I enjoyed using this gym. The class offerings were nice. The facilities were also very clean. The reason I have decided to give this establishment a 2 Star Rating however is because when I initially joined this gym I was never told by the Staff when I joined that I had to give the company a 30 day notice upon cancellation. They told me that all I had to do was let them know I was no longer in the area and I was good to go. I feel that this policy needs to be noted EXPLICITLY when you have new customers join your club. I understand that Gyms have not done well when it comes to COVID-19 HOWEVER, If you have lived in the area you know that Bob's Gym is like the most popular gym in the Evansville area. Due to my experience dealing with this situation if I ever move back to Southwest Indiana I will be supporting the local YMCA. The facilities there are new and I am sure they make a point to note their policies. Bob's Gym I hope you use the 60 annual fees that you refused to refund me for cleaning supplies or something that keeps people from getting sick. My husband and I Love bobs! Especially Newburgh, they have a small pool that is never crowded and I love their class offering. VQ is always around to help with any questions and they have awesome programs for local employees of certain places such as Berry and Crossroads. They are pricy. read more

Gym was ok. Attendants were preoccupied with menial tasks instead of customers like myself (seemed like a bother to help me). Towels are 2$ and they dont tell you there arent any in the locker room so beware. Pool was absolutely disgusting with skin and bandaids floating around in it. A Workout System That Fits It is the new year and that means people are making New Year's resolutions, such as going to the gym. Working out and getting in shape this year just happens to be mine also. In order to make that happen, it would be a good adjustment to try and get a gym membership. Recently I won a free seven day pass to Bob's Gym and decided to try it out and see if this gym is for me. Throughout my experience at Bob's Gym I thought the gym has good benefits, they show that they want to help people lose weight, their classes are either hard or easy to follow, but just like any other gym the pricing is high. My mom and I won a seven day free passes to Bob's Gym and the location of the gym we had to go was Newburgh. When we walked into the gym I thought the gym was smaller than what it was going to be. When first walking in I at first see the cardio machines and then the weights to the left. To the right of the machines is the studio on where exercise classes are being taken place and it has windows so if I was ever curious about taking a class I can get a look of what it will be like. When we met with the employee, Michael, he first gave us a tour of the gym, by taking us into the studios where the classes are held, the salt pool which is good for the joints, and the basketball court. From looking at the scenery, even though it is small it is a well kept place. The pool was not dirty and I saw people wiping down the machines. Michael also showed us an interesting feature of the machines that they each have their own television with cable. It is handy for when walking on a treadmill because it would get boring walking in place for about thirty to sixty minutes. With its own television I would be able to watch what I want to watch and then being able to get a good workout at the same time. The weight and cardio machines they have are the same as the other gyms in town. They have the treadmills, elliptical, bikes, etc. On the weight machines there are straight through directions on how to set up the machine and on how to use the machine. The directions and pictures made it clear for me to work out which muscles I needed to use for each machine. What I like about the gym is that they do care about their customers getting fit. Examples would be of their avatar system on where I made an avatar of myself and from that system it gave me ideas on how I should eat during day such as when and gave me examples of what to eat and went to eat. It also showed how much weight I would lose within two years if I continue to work out and how to work out. For someone like me that does not exactly work out it is helpful in giving me tips. There are also personal trainers but the cost to have personal training is pretty high. When my mom and I worked out a payment to share a trainer the employees tried their best to make it as cheap as possible but it was still pretty expensive. Speaking of prices it costs just about the same as any other gym. It is pretty expensive but the benefits are that members can participate in any workout class they and have unlimited access to the pool and basketball court. The fact that it is 24 hours benefits my mom because she works night shift and so when on nights she is off and cannot sleep she could go to the gym and tire herself out. When we talked about the membership they offered us a deal for the price so the both of us would join together for 64 dollars per month. While I had the pass I was able to attend a couple of their classes which was zumba and yoga. The zumba class was fun and gave me quite a work out since I like to dance but the choreography was hard to follow since it was my first time. The class was not really for beginners like me but when I looked at the class schedules there did not seem to be any beginner classes. The yoga class was a lot easier to follow and relaxing. It was a class that had stretches that were not too complicated to do. The instructor made me feel welcomed on when she came up to me after class and introduced herself. I recently went to their new class called centergy. The class is a combination of yoga and pilates. The class turned out to be a good workout and enjoyable. I will definitely go to that class regularly. My experience at Bob's Gym was a positive one. I learned how to work out and how to set my diet. In the end, my mom and I ended up getting the membership and we are going there regularly. Since we have continued going, we are getting our money's worth. We have been taking advantage of the benefits such as the classes and the pool. This time we will be able to fulfill our New Year's resolution of staying in shape. read more
