I have seen this doctor twice. Two years ago I had seen her to get a letter of medical necessity for my son's cochlear implant. It had to be upgraded and was past it's life expectancy. She was faxed a letter from his audiologist. It never did get signed and I lost the insurance. This year I finally got the insurance back. Now my son is in desperate need for his Cochlear upgrade. Went to see Dr. Bezpalco for a second time. She came into the office and told me that it was MY fault that it didn't happen two years earlier because I was not on top of things. Which was NOT TRUE. I was waiting on her letter. Again, she was given a p rewritten letter to sign. That's ALL she had to do. I faxed it to her office on Feb 11, 2015. I called her office everyday for A two weeks. Was told in a strong tone that I was informed by the Dr. That I would be called when she had signed it. I was so upset that I moved on to another ENT who by the way signed the letter in ONE day. I FINALLY got the call from DR. Bezpalko's office a MONTH later. It should not take that long to sign a PREWRITTEN letter, knowing the urgency of the Situation. read more
