When I called them for an appointment I was told there was a 2 week wait and I would have to go to their Manasquan office. I politely thanked them and browsed the Internet for someone closer and with decent reviews. I found Dr Iannacone's practice, it was in nearby Toms River, on the road where my regular physician was located and his review were impressive. I called and was told to come in the next afternoon. I found that by completing my patient information online, I saved time and my "in office" wait was less than 5 minutes. Very efficient process, extremely nice staff and Dr Iannacone was personable, informative and best of all cleared my ear blockage in minutes. After looking for a pediatric ENT in the area I was referred here. (By another ENT that did not…read moretake pediatric cases) I brought my son to Dr. Engle, who looked in his ears and stated that he couldn't see if there was a problem because his ears were too waxy and he did not want to clear them out. He told me to flush his ear for 2 weeks and come back so he could look again. When speaking to my pediatrician and another ENT they were shocked that he wouldn't just quickly remove the wax (it was done by another ENT in about 2 minutes) and then be able to take a look in his ear. I was sent a $90 bill (charge was $150 and insurance covered the rest) for the doctor to spend 5 minutes (maybe less) to tell me that my son's ears were too waxy for an Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor to do anything about.
