Avocado, and veghies were wilted, old. Clerks do not have a clue on what they are doing, bad service. Shame, such a good location.

I ended up ordering the southwest wrap that had grilled chicken turkey, bacon, spinach, avocado, corn, cheddar, red onion with chipotle aïoli. The sandwich was absolutely delicious with the accompanying green salad equally tasty. Definitely a superior sandwich and one of the best I have had in the area. This is a walk up counter order operation, where you sit at a table after ordering and they bring the food out to you. Just something to note in the event you are looking for a sitdown service as this business does not offer that. Having said that, if the quality and the taste of your food is the top priority, which it is in my case, I'll come to a walk up counter order operation all day long for sandwiches like this! Relative to the Interior it is very clean and contemporary with basically no decor or vibe to speak of. They just focus on the food and let that do all the talking. Staff was very friendly based on the minimal interface I had with them. Overall, sandwich shops with this quality are few and far in between and if excellent deli type sandwich shops are your thing you absolutely should check this business out.

I reviewed the menu before I left, and they seem to have a great selection of items that are healthy and reasonably priced. I was torn between the parifat bowl and the breakfast burrito, but the gal at the register convinced me to get the burrito instead. Next time, I'm doing the parifat. The total was about $14 and change, and I was pleasantly surprised at how big the portion was when it came out. They also have a great, but limited selection of coffee drinks with pictures as well. I stuck with water this time since I was good on the coffee. Food was great, even though I was confused about what bread it was served on. I went with the turkey sausage which I normally don't like because it's just so salty. I also received a nice salad with it as well, which was good and healthy. I really like it here, it's better than my usual coney island and in a great location. I know this place used to be a sub shop back in the day, but they closed some time ago. Mostly healthy food options here and have great hours. You can eat healthy with some flavor in your food, thus, Lula's.

We were quickly greeted and seated. Coffee and water came quickly. We opted to give the breakfast buffet a try. The sausages and bacon were luke warm at best. I didn't try the waffles or pancakes - my wife tried a pancake with syrup and said it was also barely warm and chewy. The scrambled eggs, cheesy eggs, biscuits and gravy were warmer and tasted good. Some of the biscuits were softer than others - they tasted good smothered in sausage gravy. I also tried some of the pineapple, oranges and banana pudding - all were excellent. The fruit was fresh - I was expecting canned, so that was a nice surprise! The restaurant was clean, with the exception of the bathroom. It was very dim and smelled odd in there. At least the restaurant itself, buffet and checkout area were in good shape with friendly staff all around.

For example, the server looked at the host station and said they must be out of crayons because she didn't see any. No effort to ask other staff. When I went to the bathroom I noticed a basket of crayons at a different server station so I helped myself. It's cheap food and fine for the low key life. I truly enjoyed my food. I would order it again! The fries were fresh and delicious! My partner got a breakfast item that came with biscuits. Apparently the kitchen attempted to make the biscuits twice but they came out too hard (according to staff) so they offered him toast. He accepted the offer but they never brought it to the table. No offer to refill any of our empty drinks.

I was curious as I saw some folks talking about the birria ramen and the first thing I thought was that I must've been living under a rock because I've never heard of birria ramen. I ended up going with that plus two tacos which came with all the fixings like the sauce and limes. Both tacos were really tasty but the star of the show was the ramen. It was better than anticipated with lots of flavor. Definitely something I'd reorder!

My wife and I began the meal with chips and salsa, which is served with both red and green salsas. The red salsa had a bit of a kick. After that, we ordered chips and queso, birria ramen, hot Cheetos birria balls, and a walking taco. Of these, the birria balls were by far the best, and were my favorite part of the meal. The birria ramen was very cheesy, but enjoyable nonetheless. The chips and queso and the walking taco were standard. For our entree, we ordered 5 tacos. The ones we got along with my ranking of them are below: 1. Quesabirria (shredded beef) 2. Asada 3. Quesabirria (lamb) 4. Lengua (beef tongue) 5. Al pastor All of these were legitimately worth getting. The lamb had a gamey taste to it, and the lengua had a texture that took a second to get past. Lastly, we got both the caramel and regular churros. Of those, I preferred the caramel. Birrieria El Zacatecano is a place I recommend trying, and plan on returning to in the future.
