They finally fixed the pricing, but I really don't care to keep this service. Once the HOA gives the go ahead to change services, I'm gone.

I have to agree, the worst cable company ever encountered. They charged me a $85 no show fee when I was not able to show up for the installation appointment, which they never mentioned before hand. I called in and explained that I had a emergency situation and was not able to show up, the rep was kind enough to waive the charge. I thought all was fine dandy when there was a credit of $85 on my bill, but in Nov, the charge showed up again. When I called in about 7 times, on hold for feels like 3 or 4 hrs total, finally able to speak to a supervisor, I was told the rep is no longer with the company, and Beyond now reserve the right to keep the charge! Gosh what a nightmare! Their billing is confusing and calling their customer support will make you suicidal. Was on for 30 minutes and solved nothing. Wrote to them on thier online web site help page 3 times and never got a response! Bummer is because of my HOA, I am stuck with them. I have decided it is better (and cheaper) to just go to Dish or Direct TV. read more

Really proactive on masterminding fees and Lied to me on three occasions - after receiving several mail offers about taking a survey for a credit of $10 off the next bill, TOOK the survey 2 times, never got 10 dollars credited. Signed up to the automated payment after an Customer Service Rep, told me I would get 10 dollars credited... NEVER got it credited as well... liars & sharks, as simple as that. BEYOND COMMUNICATIONS IS THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!! CUSTOMER ALERT: Stay as far away from this company as possible. I have had to deal with this company for over 6 years and it has been consistent in only one way - BAD! Whether it is issues with POOR SERVICE (low speed, quality, outages, or accidentally removing services repeatedly); INCONSISTENT BILLING (Autopay that continues to make errors in their favor, paper billing that does not get to your mailbox but they charge you a late fee, rates that go up but for years were never published anywhere), or HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE (your call takes forever to be picked up and transferred to the right department, only supervisors can help you but they are never available, and these people do absolutely nothing but wear you down). read more

I had an issue Saturday afternoon and called their 24/7 customer care line only to be informed they close at 4:00pm on Saturday and on Sunday are only open from 1:00 - 5:00 pm. Come On! read more

My mother's senior apartment complex are forced to use BC for their cable/internet provider, and they have been awful to her and others in the complex to the point where many of the seniors there just refuse to have cable and/or internet due to their awful customer service and bad billing practices. My mom ordered their month to month service for cable, internet and phone and pays close to 140.00 / month. This is outrageous for seniors who have no choice in service. Plus they refuse to address little things like proper setup of the equipment without charging a hefty fee. Recently they installed a modem with wires crossing the room at the base of a door frame which is shotty work to say the least. Any other company I have worked with in the past would have installed the wires over the door. They also would not help my mom rent monthly or install a wireless router. Also because we are on the west coast and they are on the east coast, their customer service gives us problems every time she calls. Just an all around awful way to conduct business. read more

Beyond Communications is the worst company to have to deal with. They recently took over the cable services for our community and during the two months they have been in our community they have decrease the services/options offered to us and increased the cost for the few options they offered with little or no advance warnings. Unfortunately since they own the cables lines within our community we are unable to use another service provider. They sent out communication to our community three days before they took over and told us that if we contacted them within a certain timeframe we will continue to receive the same promotional rates we were receiving with our previous carrier. Well I did contact them and spoke with a rep who advised me that everything will remain the same...price and service, only to find out after my first bill arrived that that was NOT TRUE. My bill went up substantially and when I called to inquire about the rate increase I was told that they were a different company and they would not be able to honor their own communication to their new customers. Their customer service is also the worst, if you ask to speak with a supervisor you are told one is not available but that they can have one call you back within 48 hours. Who does that and think that they are offering good service. I finally had to file a complaint with the BBB and I advise everyone who has to deal with this company and their deceptive practices do the same thing. Maybe when they receive a low rating from the BBB they will begin to clean up their acts and start treating their customers with some respect. read more

This is the worst customer service and the worst internet and phone service I have ever encountered. They do not honor their marketing materials or prices. They do not keep their word. They are rude. The broadband internet is a lousy DSL service that is antiquated. Go anywhere else, find any alternative but do not go here. Use your cell phone and get a Hotspot or any service that goes around the monopolies they tried to illegally hold on condo associations. This is the bottom of the barrel. Avoid giving yourself a long headache, incorrect charges and inept personnel. They need to change their name to Behind Communications. read more
