When you step into this shop that's been around for over twenty years, you might be a bit surprised to see the old porcelain items and gift ware, the old casio and Seiko watches or the old jewellery that line the shelves, most of which seem like they're out of the 90s, but these are the items that make this store special.
The fact that you have to ring the bell outside in order to enter and once you're in you have a group of elderly ladies and men chatting in the back of the shop, makes you feel like this is what's missing in most department stores, that homely feel where you know the person running the store isn't too concerned about selling you the newest ipod or about getting you in and out so they can serve the next customer as quick as possible.
I usually go into this every couple of years for a replacement battery, that they usually charge about $8 for, but I also looking at the other items like the silver and gold digital casio watches, that are now becoming retro. The only difference is here the prices haven't been hiked up just cause they're in fashion. read more
