These guys did a nice job on both my dogs. I would have liked a lot tighter nail trimming though. I use a dremmel and they normally look great but i had gotten a bit behind and had hoped they would get them good but they were a little long for my taste. Otherwise they were great. Bev's Grooming is the best! We moved to the area a year and a half ago and Bev's quickly became our go to for all pet related products. The employees are kind, helpful, and super knowledgeable. Bev does a great job with grooming our yorkie poo- he has had issues with getting his nails clipped at other places but here he has no problem which shows they know what they're doing! Frank has been very helpful in figuring out what food to put our two German shorthaired pointers on as we've had some allergy concerns and we are so appreciative for the help. Worth the drive over the bridge from Annapolis! Bev's is great. They do a great doodle cut, and seem to have an easier time grooming my 110+ bath averse German Shepherd than other groomers. I usually get complaints that he barks the whole time and won't allow them to use the dryer, but not at Bev's. I think they do a better job at being gentle with him and keeping him calm. I really like that there is no "back room" where the dogs are kept before they are groomed, where you have no idea what the conditions are like. You can see where all the dogs are crated and groomed when you walk in the door. They also have an excellent selection of holistic foods and treats, including frozen raw, on the pet store side of the building where you pay for the grooming (drop off for grooming at the side of the building). read more

Our labradoodle requires grooming on the regular so we visit Bev and her staff about once every six weeks. Sometimes we request him to be clipped shorter depending on the weather but Bev always confirms this with me when I drop him off. We did have a small issue with his ears not getting dried thoroughly but mentioned it at the next visit and haven't had an issue since. The counter staff is also very helpful and allows me to pay when I drop him off. Only $54 bucks regardless of how long he's grown out. Highly recommend Bev and her groomers if you want to treat your four legged friends to a spa day! read more

This is the best spot on Kent Island for high quality pet food. They carry a number of premium independent brands and a small selection of frozen raw. If you don't see what you need ask them and they can probably order it for you. I've heard they have an excellent groomer. They do nail trims in the mornings a few days a week. I have paid $10-$15 for nail trims at other places in the past. Nail trims are a bargain here - only $2! Be sure to leave a generous tip especially if you know your dog is difficult. read more

My dog hates being groomed. No questions. She gets scared and tries to run out of the door. However... the moment Bev or one of her people take her leash she feels better. Her anxiety isn't theirs to fix but I know she's in safe and gentle hands when she's there. We had them "groomed" while in town visiting family and my dogs are were scared and cowering when I picked them up from here. They are now petrified of getting their nails clipped. The employees were rude and the place is filthy. My question about what their processes were was met with a dismissive attitude. Go somewhere else that will allow you to watch the grooming if you so choose. read more
