Horrible! I ordered 3 bottles and went to pick them up. It was the wrong vintage and I asked to return them. The clerk said I had to go back and get approval from GoPuff where I ordered. After 20 minutes of wait the online rep said "I have to get you in touch with a manager. I have your contact info and they will be in contact shortly." It has been 3 days and still nothing!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. I have attempted o contact them again online and still noone has gotten back to me after an hour. Very poor customer service! I visited the BevMo in Scottsdale today. And I was quite impressed with their service considering the direction the world is taking. It's nice to go in somewhere and be helped. The manager was great very knowledgeable and it seemed to be that the other employees were also knowledgeable. when interacting with them. We are from out of state where you don't have to get a new new liscense until 2030. they didn't let us even prove it, saying it's company policy. so any out of state ppl in the same boat I would avoid the Bevmo businesses. read more

I'm trying to think of a situation where BevMo would be a good place to shop because they do have a lot of bottles under one roof......maybe if you're on your way to a party and don't want to show up empty handed so need just any bottle of wine and a grocery store isn't on the way. If you're into wine, BevMo won't have what you want. It's the usual stuff you find at the grocery store. If you're not into wine but want to give someone who is into wine a gift, BevMo won't be able to help you. Their staff just doesn't know enough about wine (try to have a conversation about vintages with a BevMo employee and see just how fast you lose them), and when I was there they only had one person to both help customers, answer the phone and check people out. If you're not into wine, still BevMo isn't the best place. Total Wine has a much better selection and knowledgeable staff to help, and even Fry's Marketplace will do a better job for you. read more

For the love of god, don't get a keg here. They tell you to keep it for as long as you want, but don't tell you that you need the receipt in order to turn in the keg and pump. My credit card number I purchased it on, ID, date and exact amount of purchase were not good enough to locate the transaction I guess. Manager and employee we worked with were absolutely rude. They hassled me about keeping the keg for two months.. mind you it was a 15 gallon keg. Just get a keg anywhere else. Never again. Two stars was for the beer read more

I'd rate them with zero stars if I could! Epic failure. We hosted an outdoor wedding party for 60 people on Saturday, May 14. BevMo was one of 3 vendors scheduled to deliver dinner and chilled drinks and 24 bags of ice by 5p. Mind you, we prepaid BevMo weeks in advance for the ice and drinks and a $65 delivery fee. On Friday May 13 I confirmed all of our orders and delivery instructions and received assurance from everyone, including from the manager Laurie at BevMo, that they were all set. The small local vendors were outstanding and completed their deliveries and setup perfectly and on time The only failure and it was monumental was BevMo. Oddly, they were the largest vendor we dealt with and one we thought would be a slam-dunk equipped with systems and controls that we thought would ensure success. We'll, 3p, 4p and finally 5p came and went and no BevMo, no ice, no drinks. And we have 60 people arriving in less than an hour. We called BevMo and spoke directly with Laurie, the manager that I had placed the order with and confirmed it with the day before. Laurie told us they were not sure what happened but that the order was cancelled. Now we understand that mistakes happen. However BevMo said they could not manage the delivery for the party that evening so my husband and son had to abandon the remainder of our set-up and the greeting of our guests to head over to BevMo and pick everything up in their hot vehicle In our opinion BevMo should not have made one penny off our purchase for the complete failure on their part to deliver what we ordered and paid for. They did return the delivery fee and $75 of the purchase. But that fell far short of the profit they made on our order. We will not shop at BevMo again read more

Prices are industry standard and they have better selection than at the local grocery store but in comparison to the amount of microbreweries in existence the offerings are limited. I placed an order for curbside pickup. I arrived at the location and 'checked in' via the email per instructions provided. I waited approximately 7 minutes and no one showed up. I ended up going inside and there were 3 employees, none of which were helping any customers. Cashier was standing there and 2 others were at the 'booth which I assume is for leadership. My order was in a cart set to the side and no one had even gone towards the order or gone over to start looking for it. I said something to the cashier that I had been waiting and that she may want to share feedback with the leadership as clearly their process isn't working. She said ' I don't know how to do it'? No apology, just gave me my items and said nothing more. Don't offer the service if you aren't going to truly manage to it. Super annoying and poor service. read more

Yesterday, Super Bowl Sunday was a busy day as expected. So I decided do GO PUFF and pick it up rather than have delivery. It was the wrong decision I waited a long time to even have someone acknowledge me at the on-line pick-up. One of the workers literally looked over at me looked me in the eyes and didn't have to courtesy to say we will be right with you. Once he came around he started to help me and dropped what he was doing to help someone else. I wasn't rude, vocal are anything I mind you. Just being patient and borderline irritated because I felt not important enough to finish a simple online pick-up. After at least 15 minutes of trying to get my order I paid for that was clearly in front of me. A DoorDash worker comes in to pick up her things and I was dropped again to assist her. She was nice enough to tell them my stuff was right there and let me have it. I appeared they didn't know how to work their devices to scan me out. Eventually, he let me take my stuff. This is the good part...When I got home I unpacked my ginger beer to refrigerate. I noticed that it is expired. (30 Nov 22) That is more than 3 mos ago! So I go back to BevMo for an exchange. The the first person that helped me looks at me annoyed and asks if there's a problem. I told him the ginger beer is expired. He gets on his walkie talkie and continues to check-out people. So I wait again and there's no urgency for customer service. While I wait I go to the shelves to see if there are any packs the were not expired. NO...The ones they had on the shelf was worse 30 July 22! So I asked for a refund but was unable to because I used a card that I didn't physically on me. I just took the least expired Ginger Beer and hoped for the best. Honestly, they were okay with selling sub-par products and moved on without a blink of an eye. Honestly, I didn't act entitled, rude or loud but yet I was treated like crap. Go Puff is a great concept with the right company unfortunately I will go to Total Wine across the street now. read more

I've been to this specific Bevmo twice. I'm torn on whether I like it or not. The first time I came to buy Fulton's Pumpkin Pie Liquor for the holidays. I heard that Bevmo carried it and was excited to find it in the store. However, compared to Total Wine & More, this store seems smaller and harder to find items. (I had to ask the clerk where the item was and even he didn't know! My husband had to find the special pumpkin pie liquor.) Bevmo also seems to carry fewer products, but more of the high-end/strange product. The second time I came here I needed to buy 50 mini tequila bottles for a gift bag idea. I really wanted to buy something on the cheaper side (since I needed 50!) but they only had Jose Cuervo at $2.99 a bottle. Also, they only had 24 of them. They did offer to special order me a case, but I declined. I headed over to Total Wine & More and was able to find what I needed (for $0.99!). Overall, the clerks are nice and helpful (if you ask) but it could be hit or miss with the product. Chances are you'll be going to Total Wine & More if you're at Bevmo and you'll be coming to Bevmo if you're at Total Wine & more. read more

Bevmo has some pretty good prices but some are not so good... It's best to know what you usually pay before you buy here. (The club card does help in this area though). However, the place has nearly everything, is well organized, clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I did notice some things that were on my shopping list that they do not seem to have. Such as cabo wabo and sausa tres genericones tequila, blantons single barrel bourbon, and some of the finer import beers such as fisher la belle strasbourgois... Also, if you rely on bevmo's web page for inventory availability, don't. It's for those reasons I give three stars. read more

My husband and I bought some wine at BevMo! because it was better to get it here than at our hotel. Call me crazy but I didn't feel like chopping off my arm and my leg. Resort pricing is insane especially when it comes to wine. They had a decent selection but I was actually surprised at the pricing which I thought would have been cheaper. I guess I'm just completely spoiled by Costco! Despite the price point of wine, the store is very clean, nicely organized and our cashier was very helpful. I'd still rather go to Costco, but if you're in a pinch BevMo! is a good option and anything is better than resort prices. read more

Stopped in BevMo this past weekend to purchase a couple bottles of whiskey for upcoming birthday celebrations. I got to the checkout and the male cashier asked for my ID (ok, whatever I am almost 50 but will play along). He then very rudely said I need to see your ID to my 21 year old daughter that was running errands that day with me. She was not purchasing or partaking in this transaction so I was surprised he would ask that. She only had her cell phone on her, but had the AZ DMV Digital ID (https://azdot.gov/content/arizona-mobile-id). He laughed and said I can't sell this to you with that ID. I again tried to explain that I was purchasing it and had my wallet out, but he was too concerned with flirting with male shoppers behind us in line and trying to get attention with his overly obnoxious tone. He was so rude and condescending. Thankfully Fry's Grocery Store is a mile away and had the same alcohol and IT WAS CHEAPER! Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. read more

This place has everything! Not always the best prices... But if you need it for a crazy/fun recipe you will find it at BevMo! I had a themed party for the Moscow Mule last month and BevMo was the only location that had the Cock and Bull Ginger Beer. The drink was delicious. BevMo has a halfway decent selection of alcohol. The problem is that they don't have as good of a selection as Total Wine. When it comes to Japanese whisky, they Carry mainly offbrands. Although, they did have the Nikka coffee grain whisky (which is nice), they had no other Yamazaki or Suntory products. They were also out of MaCallan 18 year. What was shocking was that their sales price was dropped from $279 down to $249 per bottle. You can get the same bottle at Costco for $199. All in all, I think you would be better off shopping at Total Wine or Costco (if you know that they carry your specific brand). read more

So, I decided to try to attack BevMo! objectively while I was shopping for liquids that I would be serving at an upcoming event. And, because I have heard that BevMo! is more expensive than other retailers, I went in with my eyes wide open and I was ready to compare prices. First, you can't really compare inventory here to anything outside of Costco. This beverage retailer is like "Liquids on 'Roids." There really is a lot to choose from and they do market to all different pocketbooks. Bottled Water and Mixers (soda, tonic, etc...) : Just say no. Definitely more expensive. Beer: Holy beer selection! I'm not much of a beer drinker (it hurts my belly); but knowing that some folks that I'm serving do drink beer, I had a great time perusing the beer selection. The beer was very similarly priced to just about anywhere else in town and for some of the really unique stuff, I expected to pay a little premium for. Wine: I giggled. Giggled. And, giggled some more...They have the wine market covered here and really, all in all, I am pretty pleased with the selection, vintages available and the pricing. Really not bad. For instance: I have a bottle of Laurent-Perrier Rose Brut Champagne, here, that I purchased at a different retailer for $93. BevMo! is selling the same bottle for $86. I also recently purchased a bottle of BV "Tapestry" for $56 at yet another undisclosed wine retailer for $56 and BevMo! has the same vintage for $44.97. I giggled. Granted, I'm a little disturbed that I gave so much more than I needed to out of my pocket at other retailers, but I do feel a bit more validated about encouraging you all to give BevMo! in your neighborhood a try. Because all in all - if you want a fun, kick-ass bottle of wine that is sans-$10, you can easily find it here. They have some super fun little wines, they also have some of those 26 oz bomber microbrew beers that would also be so much fun to pair and have with dinner for $6-8. And, if you want to spoil yourself a little bit and go for a larger format wine, they have that too! So, why only four stars? Its more like 4.5... Service...pretty good. Not great. I'll still go back and hope that ya'll give them a look-see. read more

It's OK. Helpful clerks- good customer service, but you have to ask. Those I've stopped seem to know their way around the store's layout, and even their products. I couldn't find many choices of organic wines, though-- one red, one white, and a couple of sustainable ones. Not much at the store, and not very many online. Stopped in to pick up a bottle of port for my hubby. Great selection of all things libatious (is that a word?), as well as some cheese, olives, chocolate, etc. Prices seem reasonable. They have a free discount card (like one of those grocery store cards). Customer service was friendly. I didn't have any trouble finding someone to unlock a case for me, either. It was nice they had little cards describing the characteristics of the more expensive items. While the gal opening the cabinet was nice, a sommelier she is not. I would recommend BevMo if you know what you want or are looking to try something new. Stick with a wine shop if you want more advice in choosing. read more

Tons and tons of choices, beer, wine, Scotch, Cognac, Whiskey and Bourbon, Vodka, Tequila and lots of other things you or I have probably never seen or heard of, like the Danish alcohol with Cocoa leaves. 18 year old Jameson? Georgia moonshine? $20 six pack of beer? Icelandic Vodka? Ouzo? Cigars? Cheese? Olive juice for martinis? They have it all. Nearly every country and every spirit is represented here. You will be hard pressed to not find what you are looking for, in fact, you will find more. Depending on what you buy, the prices are great. There is a reason BevMo is popping up all over the valley. Clearly BevMo! is an acquired taste. You either like it or you hate it. I personally like it. A lot. A whole lot. I drive from N Scottsdale to BevMo for a few reasons: 1. Their 5 cent sale (on as I am writing this) - buy one bottle of featured wine, get the second for 5 cents. This only goes on sporadically but they often have very good wines available. Do your homework before you go (you can see on their website when the 5 cent sale is going on and what is available) but you can save some decent money this way. 2. Lots of KEG BEER! - If you need a pony keg or full-sized keg for some kind of event, this is the place to go. They have a huge selection of mainstream and microbrew type stuff available. I wouldn't necessarily go here for a pony keg of bud as you can likely find it cheaper somewhere else, but if you like Red Hook ESB or Alaskan Amber and have to have it on tap, order your keg here. 3. Selection - I like different types of liquor that usually are only stocked by big box booze shops like BevMo! and Total Wine. If you want a broad selection of stuff to choose from and rarer items, go here. There isn;'t necessarily a rhyme or reason to their pricing, though. Sometimes the mainstream stuff is more expensive here than it would be with a club card at your local grocery store. As others have pointed out, the customer service is just OK. Clearly the employees don't get the same kind of benefits as Starbucks or Costco retail folks, and it shows. However, they keep things moving, know where to find things, and are willing to check around for stuff if they are out of stock. Give BevMo! a try if you are looking for a different booze shopping experience - you'll either love it or hate it! read more

The staff here is the worse, consistently rude and really act like they have better things to do then to be polite. The sample bar hosts tends to pick certain people from the crowd and smile and ask if you want to try a taste, if they don't like your looks they roll there eyes, maybe its me, but so childish. The rum selection is very cheap and high priced. They never have Bitburger beer in stock, when I ask if maybe its in the back I get a rude comment " If its not out here, its not back there" I shop here 3 times a month, only because its 4 blocks from my home. Do not go out of your way to visit unless your really in need of something, which I am sure Walmart will also have it and cheaper.
