The service was spectacular as was the quantity and variety of beverages. Very helpful staff from the manager on down. read more

I was shopping with a friend on Monday, August 10, 2026, in the late afternoon/early evening after finishing up at Costco. BevMo! is located at the same Marketplace with Costco, Target, and a bunch of other retailers and restaurants. Once we entered we started looking around at their selection of products. Most locations carry the same items, but depending on the store you could find products that may not be available at other locations. The reason for the 3-star review was the lack of customer service. The two guys working just stayed behind the counter and talked amongst themselves. They looked over us, but didn't acknowledge us or ask if we needed help. I've read several positive comments on the service at this location, but that wasn't the experience we received. The store was well stocked and clean. This location was mostly alcoholic items and very few food/snack options. read more

BevMo! - Outside of BevMo! at the Goleta Marketplace. - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Goleta, California

The service was fantastic; they helped me find a wine that I was looking for. I asked for some recommendations, and the workers were very kind. The aisles were very clean and well-stocked. I would definitely come back for anything I need. read more

This place has pretty much everything you'd need for a sports night, specialty cocktail night, man-cave appreciation night, impromptu party night, special occasion BBQ with family and friends, or just for a quiet night of food and wine with the one you love. Even on those days when you aren't exactly sure what you need, the staff here if very helpful in steering you towards the right aisles. Thanks to Walter for always giving us a warm welcome, and thanks to his staff for always being there to help us with everything. We've always been a big fan of the BevMo 5 Cent Sale, which is a great way to fill up our wine cellar, or get inspired to try something new. And their beer selections are over-the-top. So many styles to choose from, and from all over the world. We're always wanting to try something new, and can always rely on BevMo to have new and exotic styles and of course always have the old standards ready. Nice that they also have inspiring snacks for all tastes, and a big freezer of frozen foods and desserts for when the need for munchies arises. read more

They had Beyoncé's whiskey! There was one left. Walter helped us find the BOGO drinks.

I love Walter and his team. So helpful! Always let me know what's on sales. Always professional. This is my go to store in the area and always enjoy visiting read more

Great customer service! Helped with all my needs. Angel was great and so fast. say the store had a good selection. How about now done

Friendly and professional employees - it's a great place to purchase alcohol wonderful price

Walter and Bianca were so helpful and great to work with! Right after walking in, Walter stopped what he was doing and asked to help us. He was very knowledgeable and great to work with. Highly recommend coming in for their deals read more

Consistently one of the best liquor stores in the whole South Coast area. This location in particular always stocks hard to find high-end liquor, whether it be tequila, Mezcal, , bourbon, or cognac. In addition to an excellent selection, they have excellent price points that many times beat the prices at Costco( where the choices are severely limited). This is always my first go-to store when I'm looking to try something different, upscale, and at a reasonable price. The owner/manager always seems to be in attendance, and extremely knowledgeable Jeffrey J. Barigian, MD read more

I always come here to get stuff for IV parties and the team always gives me the best experience. Great prices, great customer service, best team! read more

Isaac helped me save a lot of money on the sale items by telling me to sign up and put in my phone number, W mans

Terrific prices and outstanding customer service! Really enjoyed browsing the 5cent sale products as well. Could believe Angels Envy bourbon was on sale! And they have lots of World Cup items too! read more

There was a refrigerator door left open and I closed as not to waste energy. A few moments later this employee with a lot of makeup on rudely said "I LEFT THAT OPEN". I politely apologized and opened it for her and explained that I thought a customer left it open. She didn't respond and looked upset. I just got done working hard moving packages too. I'd never treat a customer like that. I left and I'm never shopping here again. I'm a big beer enthusiast too. read more

Customer service is trash, completely rude every time , rather go to the one downtown

Customer service was absolutely awful. Super rude. Won't go there again. You can get better prices and friendly people at the Albertsons half a block away. read more

Came in 20 min before closing on 12/3/2025 with 3 of my friends. We went to the refrigerated tall drink section and started browsing. Right when we got there, the older woman with colored hair angrily approached us and almost yelled claiming they closed in 10 min (even though it was 20 min before closing). We were shocked at the aggression but continued shopping. After 3 more min, she again intensely approached us and shut the fridge lights off of the fridge where we were deciding. We were talking amongst each other about how we didn't know what to get and she again yelled saying "FIGURE IT OUT GUYS". After this, we were beyond offended and grabbed our drinks of choice and paid. Won't be coming back because of her. read more

We're a group of 5 people of color , felt unsafe as soon as we walked in the door, an old woman with blue hair , with chopped heavy make up , immediately pointed , emphasizing finger pointed and counted out loud 1,2,3,4,5 there's 5 of them , 5 of who ? people of color, WE, ARE, NOT,UNDERAGE, never going back. No sense of customer service felt embarrassed in front of the rest of the store, by reading the reviews it seems this store and this woman is one to look out for and stay clear of . read more

Went shopping over the weekend. Great service and great selection. They have their 5 cent wine event going on right now. Best value in town. read more

All the workers expect for the male worker has a sense of customer service. The old woman with colored hair has little to no life. She ruins every workers energy and is very rude to her customers. Unfortunately, she's there 24/7... of course no surprise there. If you need more proof then go in yourself or read the rest of the comments. In my opinion they should get rid of the colored haired micromanager and hire someone who has great customer service and shows respect to their peers. read more

The worker with all the blue hair streaks and bling earrings was pretty harsh and rude to me , pretty rough chick , not polite at all , left me feeling pretty uneasy so I left the store , read more

The beer department seemed like no one has a clue how to manage inventory. No rhyme or reason for where different styles were placed; obviously no one making sure beers are turned over in a reasonable time frame. Paid $15 for a 6 pack of IPA's and they were skunked beyond belief. 15 months past their best by date. Terrible store. Also, their grocery section pricing is worse than an airport. Shop elsewhere. read more

BevMo! - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Goleta, California

Selection is bad, service is bad, prices are bad, employees are rude . Do I need to say more?

Angel our lovely cashier yelled at my girlfriends to come to the front and present ID when I was already contacting her to go. When I also asked where they kept the vermouth's I was instructed by "right there where is says vermouths" in a sassy tone. I was then thrown my receipt which fell and not handed back our ID's where I had to reach a cross the counter to grab them. Definitely not going back. Thanks Angel for a lovely time. read more

Nasty restroom at BevMo in Goleta. Wonder if they have expired drinks being sold if they manage to excite their tissue. read more

BevMo! - The photo says it all. I wonder what else is crusty in there sold to people if this is the condition of their restroom for customers - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Goleta, California

I got really great customer service by both the cashier and the manager. I was very impressed!

Although, the lady in charge was nice and sweet, Adam has horrible service which is why I gave 1 star. Not very helpful at all, questioning the price of the items in the store as if I was lying, boxed my own items because I felt like he didn't want to, I should've just rung myself up to relieve him of his misery read more

BevMo! - My purchase 34 minutes ago ... - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Goleta, California

Charged my card twice for one order. Went to pick it up. They don't have the product. No one seems bothered by this now what will I have to do to be credited twice when they can only credit me once. Nifty. The Thousand Oaks store gave me a short order a couple of months ago and I didn't discover until I'd driven away 100 miles. BevMo has cheated me the last time. read more

Can't find a specific type of spirit for that recipe or cocktail? Bevmo probably carries it. I'm consistently in awe over just how much of a selection this place offers. It's very reminiscent of an ABC liquor store on the East coast where you feel as though you're in the king of them all. This location is typically clean and quiet, with a good number of staff present. They are happy to recommend items for you if you're on your way to an event or are in the market for a gift. I'd recommend acquiring one of their frequent customer cards (which pair with your phone number, too). With the card, you'll be eligible for some awesome discounts. I love their penny wine sale, among other amazing members-only perks! Give this spot a try! read more

Cashier on duty was super vigilant about keeping masks on which could be viewed many ways. Found the wine selection to be pretty limited, bit they did have a rarer Amarone della Valpolicella wine from Italy. We eventually won the girl over at the end when my dad tipped her for keeping us COVID safe -- this location was semi #declawed on cold White Claw, but they did have plenty on the back wall. One of the smallest BEVMO's I've ever visited. read more

BevMo is such a great place! Always spacious and well stocked, this was one of the places that I missed when I lived on the East Coast. The location is pretty ideal as it is right next to Costco, so when it's time to party, people can hit both places in one fell swoop. This is one of the bigger stores that I have visited and they had a whole wall dedicated to bigger packs of beer, just in time for Labor Day! The store has a great variety of local beers and wines as well as other items that can be more difficult to come by. As a temporary resident of Boston, I discovered a few local items out there that I can usually find in BevMo, so that makes me more adventurous when trying out some of the other stuff that they have that I have not seen before. It's pretty amazing how much they offer and are still able to keep the aisles clean and clear. Not to mention their great sales. If you have EVER heard of this place, you know about their 5 cent wine sales. (A-MAZ-ING!) I've discovered some really amazing ones from this sale, not only because of the displays that offer scoring information, but also from some of their employees. They also offer a guarantee. If you don't like one of them, they let you return it! (Isn't that INSANE?!) I haven't had to do that, but I overheard a sales associate tell another customer in a different store once. That, in my mind, puts them up there with Nordy's for customer service. They also have their own customer card that allows you to earn points for future discounts. They also have other good sales on their products, as well They were fully staffed to handle the crowd and everyone was friendly and helpful. Their grand opening features several tastings from local brewers and is an entire weekend event. It was well organized, especially since they were giving away $25 gift cards to their first 500 patrons (over 21, of course), with lines extending far into the next parking lot. To add to the fanfare, they had about 12 employees applauding and cheering as we entered the store. Can't wait to go back and go to some tastings! read more

This place is a rip off. Their 5 cent wine "deals" are a scam. Wines that cost 6 dollars everywhere else they charge 20 dollars for then 5 cents for the second bottle. That's still way more expensive than if you bought it somewhere else. Albertson's, Vons and Ralph's all have better deals when you buy six bottles. A bottle of Chandon costs 11.99 at Costco, 15.99 at Bevmo. Do yourself a favor, if you're buying wine or champagne go to Costco or one of the big supermarkets for 6. read more

Do yourself a favor, get a FREE club card so you get to save on expensive alcohol. It's quick and easy. I find that with the card it's cheaper than albertsons which is down the street and definitely cheaper than any alcohol you'll find in IV. Staff is helpful so don't be shy to ask them about anything. The 5th star for me is the Wine selection. Oh yeah. Good wine at good prices. read more

That fact that you guys provide great service and sell many unique items, it disappoints me to find out you don't guarantee any product you sell. I've bought 2 unique lighters for Christmas, which I kept one. It stopped working 3days ago, I know I missed up by not keeping the receipt for it, but at least you could have made an exception. It's a less than $10 item. Very disappointed. I only gave you 3 starts, just because you have a 5 starts costumer service, yet the guarantee on your items sadden me!! read more

This BevMo location is great! I love the selection of beers they have- I was able to try a Canadian beer called the Salty Scot (which I would recommend to all beer lovers). I love coming here for all of my alcoholic needs! They have a wide selection of beers, wines, and liquors. If you want it, chances are they have it! They even have a selection of meats and cheeses and even caviar. Delicious! Bevmo also offers wine tasting classes. Take a look around, they will definitely have something that will tickle your fancy. Not sure what to get? They have various sizes of bottles, from the mini, one shot bottles, to a big 1.75 liter bottles and a few sizes in between depending on the brand. Not in the mood for something alcoholic? They have s selection of non-alcohlic beverages. So, there really is something for everyone! Come on in, they will surely have something that will tickle your fancy. Their staff is friendly and helpful. And become a Bevmo card member, it's free and the savings will make you come back for more! Love it! Even though it's kinda small compared to other Bevmo's, i still love their variety in beer :) Trying to get the "Lukcy Bastard" for my boyfriend, which is a mix of 3 of the Arrogant Bastard beers. Also, i love the glassware sets... which they sell "Das Boot"! super cool. read more

Elaine is the best! She helped us with our wedding order, and even went to the extent of taking my call after she left work so I could place my order in time. During the planning, Elaine gave me honest feedback that I was ordering way too much. I ended up thinking I knew better :-P and only still ordered more than recommended...and Elaine was right. We had plenty more than we needed. BevMo was great to worked with, especially with the perk of them delivering for free on our order. read more
