And they have other coverage programs. (There is also a special rate for seniors). His heart is in the right place. Whew! I was so relieved! After seeing a allopathic doctor who said "Well, it's not a heart attack, but I don't know what it is. Are you under stress? Why don't you rest?" Duh! That was not helpful after radiating pain, disturbed work life and inability to get a good night's sleep. Then there were 2 massage therapists who gave temporary relief and the Chiropractor who said, "Ice it, don't sleep on it and endure my treatments even if they're painful. Then you're on your own." Yep, I left he's treatment after 5 sessions of gritting my teeth and bearing it. The main point is, follow you're intuition. If your injury feels dreadful, take care of it. If a practitioner of any sort implies you're symptoms are not real or that your reaction to the treatment is wimpy or that treatment does not suit you, then find Dr. Lin. He will treat you with respect, compassion and deep sincerity with highly effective techniques. But don't believe me, investigate what truly works for you. Ps. This is the first review I have written for any business! I did this of my own free will and do to receive any perks from it. That's the truth.

After the session, the practitioner mentioned I had "a few blisters" and applied some ointment. Since the cupping was done on my back, I couldn't see the area myself and trusted their assessment. However, once I got home and checked, I was shocked to find that nearly every cupping mark was filled with blisters--far more than "a few." Sleeping that night was very uncomfortable, and the affected areas grew painful over time. What concerns me most is the way this was handled. Before leaving, I was asked to sign a waiver. In hindsight, it felt like the practitioner was aware of the extent of the reaction and had me sign paperwork before I realized what had happened. I understand that blistering can occasionally occur with cupping, but the lack of transparency and aftercare, along with how the situation was managed, left me very disappointed. I hope this helps others make an informed decision.

I'm breastfeeding so I didn't want to take any medications, especially antibiotics. However, my flu was really bad: I had repetitive fevers and chills, swollen glands, and a bad headache. I saw Dr Tai and he gave me an acupuncture session, honored my request of no medication, and had his assistant massage my head. I felt so much better after the session. My headache was gone immediately though my glands were still swollen and my throat still hurt. He gave me some herbal cream to put on my neck. I was reluctant to use it so I only put it on once a day for two days (instead of four times a day), but my throat got better in two days! I never imagined acupuncture and herbs can work this fast and it's all natural :) I went back again to get seen for my knee problem that I had since delivery. Dr Tai said my knees are fine; it's my uterus that didn't heal properly causing knee pain. He gave me another acupuncture session and medication for feet soak. Again, no oral medication per my request. I asked him for food recommendations and he willingly told me and even wrote them down for me. Unlike other Chinese medicine doctors I've seen. They usually just want you to buy their herbal medicines (probably the main way they make money) instead of telling you what food you can eat on a regular basis. I was supposed to soak my feet in the medicine for 30 days, but I had to leave town, so I only did it for 5 days. My knees are perfectly fine after the 5 days though. It just works!! It's been two weeks and they haven't bothered me since. The clinic is pretty shabby, but I guess that's what happens when a doctor doesn't focus on making money, or looking high end to charge more or attract more patients. Upon my visits, I can feel Dr Tai, unlike other doctors I have seen, genuinely wants to heal me. He respects the fact I don't want to take oral medicines and tried to think of ways to help me that he can't make money of. I would definitely come back next time I'm in town to get my other chronic issues fixed!
