Before receiving a procedure, I asked the office manager if it would be covered by insurance. They said they will find out when they submit it. I said no, you need to call find out now. So 30 minutes of waiting in the waiting room, they finally said yes it would be fully covered. However, several months later I got a bill for the full amount. I disputed the charge but they said sorry the insurance isn't covering it. I retold my story that I did not want the procedure for my son unless it was covered as it was an optional service above a normal cleaning. 5 years later despite numerous conversations where I believed the issue was resolved I am still getting calls from debt collectors. I hope dr Davis knows how bad his staff is, because it is hurting his practice.

I was in yesterday with my seven year old and by now she knows the drill of what is going to happen with the dentist. She refused to lay down, she didn't want to take the x-ray, and she burst into major, major elephant tears. I was panicking inside because I just wanted this to be done, but the experts knew just what to do to give her some time to calm down and make accommodations for her so our visit was done in a reasonable amount of time.
