Came to this library to support their outdoor book sale and I'm so glad I stopped by. It was very organized and they had many $1 books. The ladies running it were sweet and welcoming. I went inside the library and the space was huge and very nice. They even have a bookstore inside with a great selection of books at really good prices. Definitely worth visiting

This is a nice library smack dabbed in the center of Beverly Hills. It's nice and has a parking structure-- free parking for 2 hours! Otherwise, it's $1 per half hour. No parking fee after 5pm. The library is huge and you should be able to easily find a spot to work. Logging onto the Wi-Fi was a breeze. I had no issues. On a Sunday afternoon, there were quite a few security guards pacing the library. Very solid library. Will be back.

I had a very bad experience on my first time taking my kids with this man he was making things very difficult for me to get a card for my kids gave me racial discrimination in my opinion i decided to asked another person for help which they did and were very kind (besides this guy in the picture saying to not give me a card)!!!

Outstanding library! One of the nicest I've been to. Magazine area has lots of comfy armchairs with outlets. Plenty of tables and computers available for reading and studying. There's even a coffee and fudge shop on the first floor. Free 2 hour parking in adjacent parking structure.

Beverly Hills Public Library is a great place to relax, chill, read, people watch, picnic, nap, play frisbee or do nothing. Located in the iconic area of wealthy homes and shopping it provides a sense of normalcy to the area. Imagine...famous people read books too

Ask the Community - Beverly Hills Public Library

Which street is the entrance to a parking and is it free?

Two hours free and I think after is like a dollar per hour or half hour, it's very cheap for Beverly Hills standard

How much is it to expedite the renewal of a passport?

Yeah the WiFi is actually pretty good if you are just browsing internet and sending emails

    Do they have wi fi?

Yes, but the last time I checked, it's pretty spotty. They have WiFi through the City of Beverly Hills. But Kelly's Coffee and Fudge, which is attached to the library has good WiFi.

Goal #1 was to print out the IRS EIN# for my new biz, as well as a few other documents. Goal #2 was to scan those documents down to an email. Goal #3 was to hopefully obtain some paperwork that would explain this particular library circulation policy. The customer service and staff here were solid and answered all of my questions as it pertained to the various loans, renewals, overdue materials, etc. The library itself is clean and they do a good job of maintaining a quiet, and productive atmosphere. And although I didn't see any today, on occasion it looks like they have security here. Would highly recommend.

There is so much seating area, tables so you can study and get homework done or just research. They have these cool little rooms if you needed to have a study group or small meetings as well. They do have a bigger auditorium for events or just conferences. Their bathrooms they have to buzz you in just because there are many homeless that tend to hang here. There are also other bathrooms that are kid friendly and you need a key for those. Their kid area is great and lots of fun books and areas for them to study and they also have computers you can check out for homework and fun games. I come here once a week and love it!

It is a veritable goldmine for anyone delving into film history. I spent several fond years conducting research for my biography at this library. The staff members are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The library features extensive collections of photographs, film memorabilia, historical documents, period magazines---I could go on and on. If you're searching for something related to film history (no matter how obscure it is), chances are great that this library has information on it or can direct you to someone who does. I would leave ten stars if I could. (This review was written by Erik's wife.)

The security is strict - you must sign in and have a photo I.D. before entering. This is the most amazing facility if you are a movie lovin' geek. If there is a book written about the film industry, it's here. If there is a magazine, it's here. They have files on every film ever made, many with photos. They have files on actors, actresses, directors, writers, cinematographers, etc. Files for each year of the Academy Awards, of course. They have a huge script library and old movie posters. They also have many special collections of film related materials donated by people in the entertainment industry who have passed on and donated their files to the Academy (from famous people like Alfred Hitchcock and Edith Head to lesser known people like makeup artist John Truwe and Jean Hersholt). These special collections are viewable by appointment only and generally are only for researchers to view. Materials are available to be photocopied and stills may be printed for a price. This is an amazing library full of very rare, historic materials from the film industry.
