Just don't bother, and don't believe the 5-star reviews (I'm guessing they're from his pals). With so many great allergist options in Los Angeles, don't waste your time at this place (literally). If the Dr is already running an hour and a half behind with his appointments at 8:30am, I would hate to see what his backlog is like in the afternoon. I arrived on time for my 8:30am appointment, and as 10am was fast approaching (sitting in the small examination room for 1.5 hours), I left. Not only a complete waste of my time, but also incredibly inconsiderate. The exam walls are very thin, and you can hear all the conversations. I get the impression that Dr Hariri really loves to hear himself talk (he yammers on and on) hence his poor time management. I will not return. read more

Plus he's also an immunologist which helps. My health situation is complicated and he has been able to fix it. Also make sure that things are fixed / solved. I'm not sure where all these 5 star reviews are coming from but maybe we just got the bad end of things. We scheduled an appointment with hopes of finding and answer. Since this doctor had great reviews we were hopeful for our appointment. Fast forward to the day of our appointment which we waited for weeks by the way to get one. We went to his Glendale office location and we were there 15 minutes earlier. I mean it's only polite to be there a few minutes early to any appointment right? Their nurses called us in and we were assigned to one of the rooms to wait for the doctor. The nurse then proceeds to ask a few questions regarding health history. All is good here. Then a few minutes pass by, no check ins to let us know where the doctor is. Eventually an hour passes by and I came out to look for the nurse to ask her what's the doctors ETA. She then says oh I texted him already and he is on the way here. He should be here in 15 minutes. So we decided to wait for an additional 15 minutes. At this point we have already waited a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes mind you. Still, no doctor. I come out again to ask her will he be attending today? Because we really waited for this appointment to come and was looking forward to it and he is nowhere to be found and we are now starting to get frustrated with the lack of respect for our time. She then proceeds to say "I understand, he does this all the time I'm sorry. I've already followed up with him again and he said it will take him another 30 minutes to get here because he had to attend to another patient." Uhm.... Excuse me??? At this point I was really upset and decided to just reschedule. To add salt to the injury, this nurse said. We can reschedule you but we won't have anything until a few weeks from now because he's going on vacation. Wow. We are lost for words. This doctor does not respect your time or cares for his patients. I should have read the other reviews he has on Yelp. For some reason he has 3 different accounts on here. I suggest you read reviews from all 3 accounts. But digging further, other patients also have complained about the same exact thing. How can you trust to be in a care of a doctor that lacks respect for your time and does not value his patients? God forbid you have an urgent follow up, you can't even follow up with him because I doubt you can even get a hold of him based on our experience. He can't even be bothered to be there on time. Almost 2 hours late is beyond me. I have never heard of a medical professional do anything even close to this and I've had my fair share of having different doctors for my care. I can't even tell you his bedside manners, we didn't even get a chance to meet him! But I can probably guess, it isn't as good as people say on his reviews. Anyways. If you value your time and you want a doctor on your team to respect your time as well. Do yourself a favor and find another doctor. There are plenty out here that have amazing bedside manners. We decided to go with another allergist, everything went through smoothly. From appointment to our doctor having the best bedside manners. So no. I will never recommend this doctor. I had an office visit with him & it was perfectly ok, Dr Hariri presented as being very professional & knowledgeable. He ordered a bunch of lab work & I was scheduled to have a virtual follow up visit to discuss results. On the day of the virtual visit everything seemed normal, his nurse contacted me ahead of time & updated my vitals. What the nurse failed to mention was that the Dr can call you anytime between 5-8pm and that the time on the portal is not your actual appointment time & that the visit is only a courtesy. Which is odd phrasing to me because a paid follow up visit to discuss the lab work is not a courtesy visit. If I was given the option I would have preferred that they actually just emailed me my results vs making me book an appointment. I also found it weird that they would post an After visit summary before my visit occurred. read more

This is long overdue but I am reminded about how HORRIBLE Dr. Hariri is, because I have moved twice in the past couple years and had absolutely wonderful experiences with two other allergists. This made me realize that my experience with Dr. Hariri and his awful staff was not normal. Please note that if you have to change doctors, they will NOT give you your patient info about what is in your allergy shot. They refused to provide me how much of each allergen is in my shots so that my new doctor would be able to continue my care. This is so I was forced to stay in their care, or have to start shots over after being on them for years. My new doctor literally had to call him personally to get the info and he still wouldn't give it, leaving my new doctor very confused and disheartened at the standard of care. Very unethical and also illegal, as they would not provide me with my own patient health info of what exactly was in my shot! The front desk staff continued to gaslight me, telling me that they provided it when they knew they only told me what allergen were in it, not the percentage of each one. They said the Dr. doesn't give that out. How can they put something in an allergy injection and not tell you the ratios that are in it? He acted like it was his own patented product. Ridiculous, dangerous, and illegal. Not to mention he would repeatedly be HOURS late for appointments without notice. The only good thing was the shot nurses. Run for the hills. read more

They have an insanely rude front office staff they aren't helpful for your first time had me sit for an hour and I checked to see what was going on and they said your appointment was at this time even though I checked in the proceeded to try and make me pay 400$ without invoicing me and I had to stop taking antihistamines for a week suffering for this appointment only to not be helped. I have found Dr. Hariri to be a fantastic doctor. He makes an effort to understand you as a whole person, making time, even on days he is clearly very busy, to check in with how you are as a person. He asks about your career, interests, ect... His knowledge is excellent and he always takes to time to explain treatment in great detail. You never feel like your issue is too small for his full attention. He ensures you have all your questions and concerns answered. He empowers you to make the best choice for your needs and doesn't push an agenda. He even offered to go to bat for me when my insurance denied a minor treatment as "experimental. He offered to team up with my other doctor to appeal my insurance's decision. His staff is likewise very nice, professional and courteous. Due to the nature of the care, his office is frequently very busy, which does mean accepting slightly longer wait times for appointments, and occasionally waiting a few minutes after your appointment time. His front desk has firm boundaries about wait times for appointments, and, as a popular doctor, is often scheduled out a few weeks. This though, I see as a reflection of the care the doctor takes with every one of his patients, and when it comes time for your appointment, you don't ever leave feeling short changed. In other words; more than worth the wait. An office that puts their patients first, and is therefore very popular. I would recommend this doctor to any one of my friends. I lived in Los Angeles for 27 years and had to move to Southeast Florida for family reasons. I have yet to find a doctor in Florida for allergies as WONDERFUL and EXPERIENCED as Dr. Hariri was for me. He treated me when I got diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016-2017 and was suffering from allergic rashes and reactions whenever I needed surgery or procedures that involved invading my skin like biopsies. I was referred by my Cedars-Sinai oncology team to Dr. Hariri. Dr. Hariri was always kind and sympathetic and super knowledgable and we did testing to determine what was causing these reactions. After we determined what the issue was, Dr. Harari came up with a protocol for my surgical oncologist to follow to avoid my allergic reactions when I needed to have my lumpectomy which actually required two surgeries. Due to Dr. Hariri's expertise, I did not have an allergic reaction with the surgeries like I normally did which always resulted in huge rashes which lasted for days. I was so grateful to Dr. Harari and will fly out to Los Angeles if I have ever issues again like this or need treatment for allergies as he is just the best doctor you will find. He is so empathetic and kind and I always got seen fast and was treated with respect and kindness. Highly recommend this practice. You will be so happy and will receive great care. read more

I never feel rushed with him and he never fails to let me know what my other options are and/or who else can help me beyond his office. I knocked one star off because the information about parking for the office is posted inside the exam room... the place you are sitting in after already parking! Need a specialist for allergies? Well look no further, Dr. Hariri is the best! My grandma became one of his patient during this pandemic. Since she is an elderly person our consultations have been via video calls. Dr. Hariri has gone above and beyond while caring for my grandma. Although we've only been via chatting, I can tell he cares about my grandma. He's answered all my questions and has been patient as well as kind and caring. As well as his amazing staff. I initially scheduled an appointment that was over 1.5 months out because of Dr. Hariri's busy schedule to only receive a phone call weeks later from his office to let me know that it is MLK day and Dr. Hariri decided to take the day off and they needed to reschedule me. As much as I would love to take time off from work any time, that is not possible for me. They were able to accommodate me and reschedule me to an earlier date. My appointment was scheduled at 8AM. I waited for over an hour. I kept calling his office asking what is going on. I kept getting answers "5 more min" and was even told "he tends to run behind, would you like to cancel?" (this was after 45 min of waiting). How is that professional or even acceptable? After over an hour, I called 1 more time and was told he was having issues logging into the virtual visit and they can cancel my appointment if I would like. Honestly, I felt that this doctor did not have time to see my and his staff was just making excuses for him. I am incredibly frustrated and tearful over this experience as I waited so long for this appointment. At the very least, he could have called me over the phone to explain his situation. I can't speak about Dr. Hariri from a clinical stand point as I never got treated for him, but after my experience of even trying to see him I will never schedule an appt with him again. I was referred to Dr. Hariri for Eosinophilic Asthma. He prescribed an injectable biologic medication that relieved my symptoms of shortness of breath, coughing, wheezing. More importantly i was dependent on prednisone which caused unwanted side effects. I am now prednisone free. Dr. Hariri is competent, thorough and is respectful and takes time to listen. Allergies in Los Angeles are NO Joke! #theStruggleIsREAL And for someone like me who is needle avoidant if not down right needle PHOBIC, the idea of shots on a regular basis to help my body adjust to allergies is DAUNTING!!! But, Dr. Hiriri is awesome and kind, and his staff are professional, courteous, efficient, supportive and encouraging. (Dr. Hirir, if you read this, I love your staff, especially Berlin!!!). They put up with my wimpy nonsense about pain avoidance and shot phobia and even have slowly helped me figure out a way to make the shots pretty pain-free! I especially have to thank Berlin who greets me with courtesy EVERY Single visit twice a week, and stops what she's doing to personally give me the shots. The lobby is comfy. Other patience are nice. Although they don't validate parking, some metered parking is available, typically you can get in and out of the lot for $2.50 or come at 8am and park for free before the lot opens at 845/9am. Plus free street parking and a nice walk from down the street is an option. And there's yummy Snapple in the pharmacy next door. I HIGHLY recommend coming here! It's helping me breathe and live better already!!! read more

I literately just waited 40 mins for my telemedicine appointment to begin and I had another meeting coming up and just couldn't wait any longer. The appointment was supposed to be at 1pm on Oct 8. at 1:18pm I called the office, and the staff said it'll be 5 more mins. At 1:35pm still nothing. At 1:40pm, the telemedicine text message finally arrived for my 1pm appointment. Needless to say, i am going to have to re-schedule. Their staff is also not up to the level of professionalism that you would expect. There are two female staff admins in the office from what I can tell. Couple times I tried to call the office within the stated operating hours, and no one picked up. Tried outside of the operating hours and obviously it all went straight to voicemail. Tried the next day, one of them picked up with just a "hello?". No professional greeting with their office name or intro, just "hello?". This is how they answer all their sales calls. I asked to re-schedule my appointment because the doctor was extremely late to the session. She gave me a date for the next available session, and I asked if she could email me the details as confirmation, she said "I could try". What exactly is the vetting process of their hiring process. Were these staffers even vetted?. The other female staffer was slightly better. She was able to answer the call with "Dr's office". And was able to go over some initial questionnaires with me on the phone. It doesn't sound like they want your business. I can't believe that Cedars would refer me to this practice. I am going to have to bring this up with Cedars. We're a major corporation, and with the amount of money we spent on health care each year and with Cedars. I've been a patient of Dr. Hariri for over 3 years now. What sets him apart from any other allergist I have seen, is his dedication to find the initial source of the problem (in this case my specific allergens), before quickly jumping to conclusions to begin an immunotherapy regimen. Ultimately I ended up going down this path, but we tried over the counter meds and prescriptions first before immediately jumping to receiving shots. The results this year have been amazing and for the first time (in a long time), I feel like i'm not suffering from a 4 month flu :) I would recommend Dr Hariri hands down to anyone needing a specialist who cares. read more

Dr. Hariri was very nice, however, his staff has a terrible sense of follow-through. I was supposed to get a second round of tests since I didn't react to the first round but Dr. Hariri believed I was allergic to at least one of the many allergens. They scheduled an appointment with me before I left my first visit, but the day before the appointment, they had to cancel because they said the nurse that did the testing called in sick for the week. Not a problem, but they said they would call me to reschedule, which they never did. I didn't bother calling to reschedule myself since this wasn't such a positive experience. read more

When I saw Dr. Hariri, he was very rude and dismissive. I wanted to ask some questions about the allergies I've been dealing with and he answered only one before getting up and starting to walk away. When I told him I had more questions, he rushed through them and spoke to me as if I were stupid. I drove across town to go to his office because I was told he was a good doctor, but it was not worth it. After my last tests were ordered and done at Quest Diagnostics, I never heard back from him/his office about going over the results, even after following up about it.
