Stopped in to pick up a few bottles of wine listed for sale on the "chairman's list". The website…read morestated there are 55 of them in stock. After searching the entire store for both the wine and a staff member finally the cashier was empty and I asked him where would this wine be found and showed him a picture of the bottle and website. He abruptly said "no we no have". I told him the website said there were 55 in stock. He said "no we don't carry". I politely asked him to look it up just in case- he grabs my phone from my hand and mutters something walking back to the manager desk (in a tiny cubicle just behind the cashier desk). Shows the manager the picture and replies something quietly to the employee without even looking it up. The employee says "we can't sell because it's German and can't sell premium". I asked him "Isn't this a premium store?" And he just gave a blank stare back. The funny thing is I purchased the brand originally in the old Kimberton Wine and Spirits this one replaced. The level of service here is very poor. If I could rate zero stars I would. Customer service, some basic computer skills, leadership, and human communication skills is much needed here.

You can't just swing by a Costco or Walmart and grab your favorite adult beverage as they probably don't and can't carry them. You have to go to a state-approved beer store for beer and liquor store for everything else, though some markets such as Wegman's are approved to sell them all, but are restricted on how much is sold to individuals. What a pain!? According to word-of-mouth, the law is slowly being loosened to allow more stores to sell. EXPERIENCE: Getting back to Fine Wine & Good Spirits, they're tucked at the end of a small strip mall with lots of parking. The inside isn't very big, but they stock a nice selection of wine and liquors. I picked up a big bottle of chilled Yellow Tail Chardonnay for $11.99 on sale. SERVICE: The store was empty so I was in and out within five minutes. The female cashier got a kick out of my Hawaii driver's license, wondering what in the world I was doing in Pottstown, LOL.
