I visited this wine bar on multiple occasions including most recently during Lakewood Chocolate Walk. AMBIANCE: Wine market meets casual wine bar. Dainty tables between wine aisles, small bar, and enclosed patio-like are your seating options. Most guests seem to be friend groups. Vibes and dress are casual. The building houses Rozi's Wine on the lower level, and various offices on the other floors. The includes beauty salon, and medical services. If you're visiting the building for any of the service you can just easily take the elevator down to Rozi's. Cook Office Building is supposedly haunted! WINE: Rozi's has a huge variety of wine for all budgets. There is a section of under $20 wines. Then an aisle away there is Dom Perignon. They also sell various beers from all the world (on tap and in cans). You can purchase wine by the bottle or by glass. I always opt into the glass option, which usually costs $10-12. You can also try samples to see if you'll like an entire bottle or glass. New options are constantly added to the menu. I tried the new orange wine from Sicily, Italy ($11). It was okay but not a favorite. It was pretty bland to me, not bold like I'd expect. Then again I have never had orange wine so take this with a grain of salt. I haven't yet discovered any memorable wines here. SERVICE: The service is transactional. I never feel like I can engage in a conversation about wine. I wish there would be more warmth. If you're looking for wine before dining on Detroit Road or need a bottle to go, this is your place. It's the only locally owned place I've seen on the West Side with such extensive selection.

I love this place! The staff is super friendly and helpful. If you're not sure what to pick out…read morethey are willing to go out of their way to help you. They carry a lot of local craft beer which makes me happy. They started carrying beer from Saucy Brewworks within the last couple of months which is awesome because that's my new favorite brewery. They also carry plenty of beer from other local breweries. And they have a wide variety from each place. I think they carry four or five beers from Saucy's at a time which I think is awesome. I love the selection. They also have wine which I've never really looked into (more of a beer drinker myself) This would be five stars but the only kind of liquor they carry is like cheap vodka. It's just kind of inconvenient to have to go there for my beer and then somewhere else if I want liquor. Otherwise it's a great establishment.

Yeesh, within the past few months, this place was recently renovated and not for the better. The…read moreindoor tasting spot is gone; replaced by just some open space and a door to their office. Their beer selection has also decreased remarkably. Their selection isn't bad but it's not noteworthy or distinct from other Lakewood beer stores like Rozi's, or Cap n' cork. They still have 5-6 coolers of singles - organized by style (nearly American micros, but nothing that uniquely distributed) and heavily focused on IPAs with some more expensive bottles $10+ from the Ohio breweries but their overall selection still had decreased from the past. Their selection was great but now it's a-okay. If I cared enough, I'd argue Chas that Rozi's or somewhere probably has a larger selection... The space for wine has increased but if their changes to beer are any indication; don't bother making a special trip here; you can find the same product at most other stores in the area.
