Thus thanks to the patience and communication from staff at Rozi's, my negroni's were always complete. They have a great selection of wine at different price points. Towards the back of the store are a selection of small items to accompany a charcuterie board. They carry a selection of beers, and serve many at them at their bar. It was nice to spend one afternoon doing a tasting flight to pick the perfect six pack. They even carry hard-to-get and pricier brews, including a variety from Alaska. Whether stopping by for a quick purchase or seeking to spend a slower day getting to know the staff and selection, stop by.

I visited this wine bar on multiple occasions including most recently during Lakewood Chocolate Walk. AMBIANCE: Wine market meets casual wine bar. Dainty tables between wine aisles, small bar, and enclosed patio-like are your seating options. Most guests seem to be friend groups. Vibes and dress are casual. The building houses Rozi's Wine on the lower level, and various offices on the other floors. The includes beauty salon, and medical services. If you're visiting the building for any of the service you can just easily take the elevator down to Rozi's. Cook Office Building is supposedly haunted! WINE: Rozi's has a huge variety of wine for all budgets. There is a section of under $20 wines. Then an aisle away there is Dom Perignon. They also sell various beers from all the world (on tap and in cans). You can purchase wine by the bottle or by glass. I always opt into the glass option, which usually costs $10-12. You can also try samples to see if you'll like an entire bottle or glass. New options are constantly added to the menu. I tried the new orange wine from Sicily, Italy ($11). It was okay but not a favorite. It was pretty bland to me, not bold like I'd expect. Then again I have never had orange wine so take this with a grain of salt. I haven't yet discovered any memorable wines here. SERVICE: The service is transactional. I never feel like I can engage in a conversation about wine. I wish there would be more warmth. If you're looking for wine before dining on Detroit Road or need a bottle to go, this is your place. It's the only locally owned place I've seen on the West Side with such extensive selection.

The selection is by no means stellar ala MInotti' s or Simone' s, but pretty good for a hole in the wall corner store. Dude checks my ID because i'm riding a bike, hauling a Sierra Club backpack(no longer a member, just wanted the backpack) and i have great skin for my 30ish years. I leave and cross Lorain. Dude chases me across a busy street at rush hour to check my ID again! He says " You look in my store all suspicious, then you come back on bike ...mumble...you're not buying this for kids are you?...mumble...you don't look this age...i have to make sure.." Hey, you got to hand it to this guy. He braved traffic to make sure underage drinking was not happening. But it shows the state of our society when a 14 yr old can steal a car and roll up to a store and buy booze. But if you roll up on a skateboard or maybe a pogo stick, you seem suspicious.
