Some brands are so expensive regarding the fact that their products are assembled in poor…read morecountries. However, some of their products are just too cool. Like The North Face's duffle bags. I couldn't resist to buy one because I can always come up with an excuse why an unsporty person would need a sports bag. You can also wear it as a rucksack. At Kingsday for example. The only problem was that afterwards one of the straps contained an additional feature: a used chewing gum (thank you a******). It was well-incorporated and made the ice spray useless. So I went to the North Face store hoping that I could buy a spare pair of straps. I've been here before and I like the friendly, relaxed staff. I explained the situation to the girl at the counter and she went to check their stock of spare parts. She quickly found a set and handed it to me. When I asked for the price she said it was for free. In the case of The North Face I now know that the price contains a fair warranty (I didn't have to show the sales receipt).

Men should know that most of the trousers are "long" length (i.e. 34" inseam). Nonetheless, the variety of product on offer is good for such a small location. The staff will spend the time required to find you the right items, and the prices are reasonable considering the fact that this is a foreign brand with all product made outside the EU. If you need a piece of clothing for your trip or on short notice, look no further. Backpackers in particular would love this place.

I love this place!…read more It's a huge sporting goods store and they have a bit of everything including but not limited to goods for: - Volleyball - Basketball - Baseball (not much) - Soccer - Rugby/Football - Trekking and hiking - Surfing - Diving - Swimming - Archery - Riding (horseback) - Camping - Skiing - Snowboarding - Racquetball/Squash - Tennis - Fitness - Cycling - Skating (inline/board/roller) - Ice skating And probably more! They have stuff to suit any budget, including the very low ones, while maintaining the quality of the goods! The prices are very decent if not cheap for their so called "Blauw Product" labelled stuff, which essentially means that it's super cheap, and they have a wide array of products. For example, I bought a super thin fleece long sleeve for but €7.45! The stitching is of great quality and it doesn't fit baggy like a mass produced one-size-fits-all piece of clothing. It's formfitting but not tight, at all. I implore you check this place out. You might see things that you need without the prior knowledge of your need for them! Check out the pics to get an idea. Beware if you're going by car as it's right next to the Amsterdam Arena so you'll have to pay for parking.

They cover everything from snowboards to running shoes to camping equipment. I told Dutchman it was time to upgrade on our camping experience. So we bought an awesome tent here.
