We've bought from Ashley, from Havertys from Macy's, and we've bought from a couple of high-end hand made furniture stores in the past 22 years. But we've NEVER found anything that holds up like our Amish furniture. About 11 years ago we decided to splurge and bought a dining room set with eight chairs, coffee table, end tables and a full bedroom set. We have two rowdy boys who love to play around. 11 years later everything still looks almost brand new!! In addition the customer service from the family owned store in Frisco is just amazing...they were very kind and patient with our i decisiveness, and very much willing to work with us on customized pieces- they gave us a good discount for buying multiple rooms and in the end, i know we have paid less bc we did not have to replace furniture every 5-10 years.

The furniture is beautiful and was a significant investment, but the purchasing experience has been extremely frustrating. After nearly a year and a half of delays and repeated quality‑control issues, I cannot recommend them. * In July 2025, we were told the table was ready but the chairs were delayed. Amish requested final payment so delivery could be scheduled. * Delivery was then postponed because the truck carrying the chairs malfunctioned and the shipment was sent back for inspection. * In September 2025, the furniture arrived, but the table was unfinished on one end and had to be taken back for refinishing. * In October 2025, the table returned with scratches and damaged leaf ends. Amish informed us that a new table would need to be built and left the damaged one with us for Thanksgiving. * In January 2026, we were told the replacement table had been placed at the back of the production queue, adding another six‑month wait. * In May 2026, the new table arrived with chips and scratches. The delivery personnel did not bring it into the house because they saw the damage and contacted Amish, who then sent it to a refinisher. * In June 2026, we were told it missed the truck and would be delayed another month. * As of July 29, 2026, they are again attempting delivery. Would I shop there again? No.

I found Little treasures all over the shop and stocked up on all kinds of goodies. Never got the phone call the night before to give us delivery window. Contacted sales person and was told 'you're scheduled for June 1st" (not asking if this date was ok. It wasn't. Then were given June 8th as delivery date. No phone call night before, no contact june 8th as of 1pm. At 2 pm, email stating delivery would be june 9. then told 10:30-1:30 window. morning of the 9th, time change. Oven finally did arrive, the gentlemen that delivered and installed were professional and friendly. Installation was done in about 15 minutes.

This isn't a problem for me personally because I'd rather browse in peace without the added pressure of being followed and watched like a hawk. As we were walking towards the door, ready to check this place off our list and move on to the next furniture store, an orange-y brown leather sofa caught my eye. My immediate thought was that it might be nice if only it were in another color, then lo and behold I spotted leather swatches nearby in a handful of colors. Suddenly, not one but two different salespeople stopped to offer assistance. After a brief but successful sales pitch, the next thing we knew we were practically skipping out of the store in glee, receipt in hand, having FINALLY found our new sofa and loveseat, which we ordered in black. We were told that it would take about 10 weeks for our furniture to arrive, but it actually only took half that time. The entire delivery process was hassle free. They had openings within the next couple of days with short windows of time. When the delivery guys showed up they were on time and quick but careful while dropping off our pieces. Our new sofa and loveseat look great and feel well manufactured. I haven't noticed any flaws thus far. After they have had some time to get worn in and thoroughly tested by our in home quality control group (i.e. kids) I'll update my review.

(This is 3 different staff members). You guys have some serious customer issues. When we finally get a call back from customer service they inform us they do not know where our furniture is and that the warehouse manager has been very sick. I hope that person gets better, however that is not something you disclose to a customer for many reasons. Extremely unprofessional. It is kinda bizarre that in one of the fastest growing cities in the country that a Bassett Furniture could be so inept.
