I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience I had at your…read moredealership, specifically concerning the behavior and attitude of one of your sales representatives, Brian. During my visit, I found Brian's demeanor to be unprofessional and dismissive. Rather than feeling welcomed or respected as a potential customer, I left the dealership feeling uncomfortable and offended by his tone and conduct. His approach lacked the courtesy and attentiveness one would expect from a premium brand like BMW. I had come in with genuine interest and intent, but the interaction with Brian significantly diminished my perception of your dealership. Regardless of circumstances, every customer deserves to be treated with respect and professionalism, and unfortunately, that was not my experience. I hope you take this feedback seriously, as I believe that addressing such behavior is important not only for the dealership's reputation but also to ensure that other customers are treated with the level of service that reflects the BMW brand.

I took a chance on Mamaroneck. I was on the market for a used M340i. I wanted a 2020 with low…read moremiles. It had to be black and it had to be CPO. I found one at Mamaroneck, and had a no-stress purchase, right over the phone (Mamaroneck is 2.5 hours from my home). Short Version of a Long Story: Over the next couple of months, we found some problems with the M340. The previous owner did some cheap and dirty repairs that were not cool. I was starting to feel very stressed and nervous about this $50k purchase (with tax). However, Ronald Bertrand (my salesman) and Mike (The Sales Manager) have been amazing in their support and commitment to make this right. So far, they have addressed and resolved each issue that has come to pass, without delay. Without complaint, and on their dollar. Buying a used car can be scary when things start to go wrong. I purchased a CPO to not have to deal with those headaches. But the truth is - things can get missed. They don't take off Bumpers and go through every little electronic piece of the vehicle. Nor can they. Things do get missed. We are human. HOW a dealership handles those 'misses' is important. Ron and Mike have shown me that they stand behind their vehicles. And that helps me sleep at night . . even with a CPO with gremlins. Thank you Ron and Mike - for helping me keep loving this car. Thank you for standing behind your sale AFTER the sale. A rare dealership, indeed. Nobody expects a dealership to be perfect. Used cars can always have hidden gremlins. It's HOW a dealership handles those situations that make or break them. You guys are doing amazing, and I appreciate your efforts. Keep up the great work! PS - when I was on the market for a vehicle, I chose BMW of Mamaroneck because of Yelp Reviews. They had 3.75 stars out of 5. Most dealerships have 2.5 or less on Yelp Reviews. That was very important to me, because it says a lot. I don't trust Dealer Rater reviews or Google (for car dealerships), because often times Dealers hand select 'good happy customers' and ask them to review their experience. Yelp is a little bit more RAW. 3.75 is a good ranking for a Dealership. And here is another great review for Mamaroneck. You deserve it.

If you need to stay through the service there is a very nice waiting room with nice seats, coffee, pastries, Wi-Fi, etc. Mathew Rivera, my service consultant, kept me well informed through the repair process and there was no problem picking up my car the morning after the work was finished. Is is a little expensive...yeah. I was charged $296 for a battery that 'lists' for $279 and can be had online for around $250. But honestly, after being overcharged for auto repair work at other Toyota dealerships where they treat you like dirt anyway it was pleasantly refreshing to experience great customer service.

I have literally never written a yelp review before, I made an account just to warn people about…read morethis service center. I firmly believe that this business is the reason my car is now totaled. This past august, I brought my 2012 prius in because I was getting an overheating warning on the dashboard. I only brought it there because it was the closest repair shop that serviced hybrids to where I received the warning light. After keeping it for about a week, they called me to tell me that it was unsafe to drive and they needed to do a whole host of repairs on it which would add up to be 3500 dollars. Not really knowing what else to do, and not knowing a ton about cars, I took the hit and agreed to the work. After a few more days they gave me the car back and I started driving it again, but after a few weeks, the warning sign returned. I brought it back in and they said they would fix it for free / just for the cost of parts, since they didn't fix it the first time. However, after keeping my car for weeks and weeks, they eventually called me saying they couldn't recreate the problem, and that I should just keep driving it. A few weeks later the warning lights return and I bring it back to them, saying they need to fix it for free. They keep it for several more weeks, and eventually say that they need to replace the thermostat (meaning I have to pay for the part). I just want the whole saga to be over so I agree. I get the car back in another week or so, and yet again, after a month, the warning light returns. This pattern continued this entire year, with my car in and out of their shop, with them either not being able to replicate the problem, or doing an additional repair job, consistently telling me upon return that it is safe to drive, and with me consistently getting the overheating light within a month of getting the car back. Finally, the last time I brought it in, after keeping the car for weeks, they called me to inform me that my car had been so severely overheated for so long, that the engine had warped, and I would need an engine replacement for 15,000 dollars (!!). I told them that this was unacceptable, because the only reason my car had been overheating for so long was because THEY hadn't fixed it OVER AND OVER AND OVER and yet had continually given it back to me to drive. I told them that I deserved my money back from the previous jobs, and that honestly I felt they owed me more than that, since my car was now totaled because of their negligence. My service advisor said that, after talking to his manager, in order to "make things right" they could offer me a 55% discount on my engine replacement, meaning I would only have to pay them 8,000 ADDITIONAL DOLLARS for them to replace the engine that was broken BECAUSE OF THEM. Obviously, a 2012 prius isn't worth that much money, so we all knew this was an empty offer. This whole situation has been an enormous financial burden on me. I'm a young teacher without a ton of built-up savings. I've had to purchase a new car, and for the past nine months I have had to struggle with a combination of loaner vehicles, rental cars, and public transport to complete my hour+ commute, because my car was in repair shop purgatory for months. I was so immensely patient with this shop. Maybe I was being naive, but I honestly believed that they would fix my car for no additional charge, due to them being unable to fix it the first time. They had agreed to that initially, meaning they KNEW that it was their fault that the car was overheating, and they were claiming they would try to make things right. However, all that responsibility went out the window when I asked for my money back. I have never, in my entire life, felt this way about a business. I have never felt so scammed. I was consistently extremely understanding, forgiving and polite towards them for the last nine months. I have been repaid with a totaled car and a 4,000+ dollar cumulative bill. TLDR: Please, at all costs, DO NOT GO TO THIS SERVICE CENTER.
