From the quality of care to the compassion shown by every staff member, I had nothing but positive interactions throughout my stay. RN Jaime truly stands out. She is incredibly professional, compassionate, and absolutely amazing at patient care. Jaime always maintained a positive attitude and had a wonderful ability to joke and have fun while still being exceptional at her job. She made both patients and families feel genuinely seen and heard. She took the time to get to know me, advocated for my needs, and was an incredible support during the life-changing process of a new amputation--helping me figure out how to begin getting back to daily tasks with confidence and encouragement. RN Tori, even while still being new, was a tremendous help--especially during a snowstorm. Despite challenging circumstances, she remained positive, supportive, and dependable, which made a huge difference during my stay. Anthony, the med tech, was always on time and consistently willing to take a moment to talk and connect. He is incredibly personable with a very kind heart, and his genuine care never went unnoticed. In the kitchen, Karen and Vannah were always helpful and willing to make sure I received the diet I needed--along with a little extra when I needed it. Their kindness and attentiveness made meals something I could truly count on and appreciate. The PT team, Angie and Mandy, did an amazing job making sure I was strong enough, confident, and comfortable before being discharged. Their encouragement, patience, and dedication played a huge role in my progress and recovery. Kayla, part of the admin team, was always on top of everything. She made sure all appointments were scheduled and that transportation was available when needed. Her personality is amazing, and she excels at what she does. She truly treats you like family--whether it's with a silly joke now and then or simply stopping in to say hello. Chelsea, the GM, went above and beyond to ensure I was fully taken care of before discharge. Her leadership, compassion, and attention to detail gave me peace of mind during such an important transition. And finally, Rhonda, the front desk clerk--also known as my favorite barista--was an incredible source of positivity. She made sure anything my family or I needed was handled quickly, and if something wasn't right, she ensured it was fixed within minutes. Her warmth and dedication made a lasting impression and greatly enhanced my overall experience. I am incredibly grateful for the care I received at Ignite Medical Rehab. The staff truly goes above and beyond, and I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of rehabilitation services. The care, kindness, and professionalism here made all the difference. -Ron

i am rewriting this review because it was taken for a fourth time. ***…read moreI will not stop advocating! I lost my loved one here & I am begging everyone to do your own research!!! Multiple people have reported that their loved ones died here do to negligence & thats facts, not opinions. This place needs to be investigated & shut down! The malpractice that is not only going on but trying to be hidden is astonishing! All the staff I encountered was very rude except for one lady. My loved one complained that after hitting the call button staff would take an inconsiderate amount of time to respond leaving my loved one to wait as long as 20-30 minutes at times. Staff claims they are short staffed. I was on the phone with my loved one and I asked what was served for dinner. My loved ones response was "they must have forgotten about me." It was 9:30 at night before someone brought her anything to eat. YELP IS THIS ENOUGH INFORMATION FOR YOU?

Acting as his niece/Advocate, the whole facility was willing to listen to me and tailor his recovery based on his daily needs. Antwone, the Administrator, has an open-door policy, which allowed me to get certain requests taken care of in a timely manner. Rebecca, the ADON, was also an advocate for my uncle and really listened to his requests. The facility rooms are spacious, the PT is excellent, and the boots-on-the-ground CNAs and LPNs were crucial in my uncle's recovery. As an advocate for my uncle's care, my biggest goal was to keep him clean and dry, provide adequate nutrition, manage pain levels, tweak medications when necessary, and keep him on a necessary shower schedule. These preventive measures brought an advanced level of healing. My uncle was then transferred to the VA for additional strengthening. Our experience at Medical Park West was positive and healing. They gently steer her out of resident's rooms saying, "No shopping today, Carol!" This is an ongoing and never-ending occurrence. Carol is very mobile, and the staff is spread WAY too thinly to keep up with up with her constant theft. Many of the ladies have a baby doll or plush animal (provided by their families). That generally means Carol has MANY baby dolls or plush animals, and the proper owners have none. Once, Carol lost her own baby doll, and her family raised Holy Hell until it was found, but rumor has it that Carol's family takes and sells the extras that show up in Carol's room. There is at least one other "shopper" at MPW, but she/they have not impacted my family, that i know of. It isn't just dolls and stuffed animals that are taken. All kinds of personal items magically end up in other rooms. Clothing, blankets, quilts, jewelry, pillows, personal grooming items, special cups... anything you would gift someone to try and make them feel special, remembered, and at home. It is very frustrating.

The request to administer pain medications to my mom was given to staff by me many times and each time they would say they had not received any pain medications from the pharmacy to administer. This took many days to get at the facility and required intervention with multiple staff and physician. The staff received pain medications finally and were instructed to give her pain medications consistently to ease her suffering from the brain cancer. When I would visit each day and ask about pain medications they would say they had not given any during the night. My mom was obviously in pain and suffering, in and out of lucidity. I told them repeatedly to give each night as she was dying and in pain from the brain cancer. The nursing staff rarely gave pain meds to her if I was not present. The last 2 nights of her life the staff said the night staff forgot one night and the night she passed away they stated the night nurse could not find the pain medication in the medication drawer to administer. She did not have any pain medication because of neglect of the staff. If I could give less than 1 star I would as the care was abuse.

The hospital case manager gave us a list of facilities within 30 miles of our home. After checking out three facilities we were very discouraged with what we saw and heard. Then we went to check out Brookhaven and we surprisingly encouraged as soon as we walked in the door. The staff was very helpful and answered all of our questions better than expected. We decided Brookhaven was the place for her hands down. Mr. J T called me the next morning to let me know a private room was available. We moved her in that afternoon. From the time she checked in until the time she checked out everyone was caring and helpful, ensuring she had the best care possible. The entire staff treated her like she was family not just another patient. Outstanding care, treatment and very clean up to date facilities. I highly recommend Brookhaven. V/R, G. Mott

Just today we had a fall festival happy hour with delicious food and decorations, an outdoor fire pit on our beautiful patio (one of several) and everyone including myself, had a great time. This place is so much fun, I'd live here myself if I were older. They are redecorating and getting new paint, furniture and carpet. The outdoor spaces are beautiful and relaxing. I received a call from them the same day my doctor wrote the script, and they got me in the very next day. It's a beautiful building just to the east of Lowe's and was easy to find, just behind Mamaveca's. The atmosphere is casual but polished. Everything is clean. Everything. The bathroom was spotless, and the area where you can make coffee/tea and get water was also spotless. (No water stains!) Tip: Wear exercise clothes! I have Cate as my physical therapist. She is magical. My particular injuries are very difficult and flare up randomly--sometimes in the middle of her treating me. She is a lot more patient than I am! Every time I come in there's usually something different one of the three injuries I have is doing--and every time she customizes my PT to accommodate for that day's ailment. The tech's who stay with you while you complete your stretches etc. are really, really nice. They always are funny and make the best conversations. (Especially if you love sports.) I've been going to PTC for over 3 months now. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They've helped me heal much faster than I ever thought possible. I'd highly recommend them.
