It should be no stars at all! The very beginning of meeting with Helen was great, but as my wedding date gets close, she became very pushy and un professional. She wanted me to spend more money on her flowers and continued to suggest more flowers! Also, she never showed to a meeting with me, I waited for 30 minutes for her. On the week of the wedding I confirmed with her what type of flowers I would like for flower girls and how many boutineers I needed, well on the day of, she did not deliver! My flower girls flowers did not look anything like the picture I showed her and what was guaranteed. For boutineers, she did not give me the right amount, my wedding coordinator had to drive to her place to get them. I would suggest to look for another florist. read more

Helen is a very sweet and informative person. She shared tips and things we needed to make our wedding the best it could be. However as we got closer to our wedding we noticed it got difficult to get what we wanted. She shared examples of flowers but it wasn't what we wanted. The colors didn't match and they looked like what she thought looked nice and not what we actually wanted. On the day of we noticed our church alter flowers had empty holes and our bouquet flowers looked old and dead. Our table center pieces also didn't match with our bridal bouquets. It wasn't a disaster but definitely not what we envisioned. I was very happy with Helen's work - but honestly wasn't happy with how things were handled throughout the planning stages. After seeing her work at a couple's wedding, I contacted Helen to set up times to go over our vision for our wedding. Her house/office is out in Stanton, which is a considerable drive from the South Bay where I live. Our first meeting, she left me and my family waiting for 30 minutes at her house. The second meeting I planned with her, she completely flaked. Didn't call and didn't show up to my venue. My phone calls to her went straight to voicemail. I had had it... when she called back later that afternoon to apologize I bridezilla'd on her. From then on things went smoothly. Now, her floral creations are a work of ART. She doesn't need micromanaging - I showed her what I wanted and off she went. She far exceeded all of my expectations and I have friends raving about the floral arrangements, the bridal bouquets, the centerpieces, the boutonnieres, the stair garlands, etc. etc. I have had 2 friends (1 more soon) use her and they were very happy. Would I use her again? Yes, her prices are the BEST anywhere. read more

Helen is sweet talker, but do not believe her. She did something different from what she promises. All my guests complains that the flowers do not look fresh, and my bouquet is so ugly. She charged me $200 for the centerpiece. She said $200 will have more flower and it looks big, end up they were small and not much flower. All my relative said the flowers looked old and very little compare to $200. She tried to push you more than what you should have done, and push you to add more and more money in decoration. All she wants is your money. She charges more than other Asian place, so you guy should shop around before sign a contract with her, Or have the style that you want to have and tell her to give you the final price. If not, she will raise up the price at the end. Remember to put everything that she promise in the contract, or she will change her mind and charge you more and more each time you see her.
