Seriously this dude talked loudly non stop. He was elderly so I cut him some slack, but damn - I wanted to stab myself in the eye it was so annoying. Before arriving, my wife and I researched transportation options and saw that Uber, Lyft, and taxis were supposedly available in Muscatine. We came into town in our small boat on a Saturday evening, thinking we'd easily find a ride service once we got to shore -- but quickly learned that wasn't the case. During our planning, we had already discovered that none of the nearby hotels allowed pets, so we booked one about three miles away to accommodate our small dog. That's when we realized we had no way to get there. In a bit of a panic, we found NET online and decided to give them a call. To our relief, they answered right away and sent a driver promptly. The driver was kind, professional, and the price was very reasonable -- a bright spot in what had been a stressful evening. Later that night, we found out the hotel couldn't provide transportation back downtown. When I called NET again, they told us they normally don't operate on Sundays, but they'd make an exception to help us out. The next morning, the owner himself arrived right on time, taking time out of his Sunday before church to give us a ride. He was incredibly gracious and even shared more about the company he and his wife founded to help others in the community. NET didn't just give us a ride -- they gave us peace of mind. It's clear they truly care about people and about making Muscatine a better place. Their compassion and dedication go far beyond what you'd expect from a transportation company. Person who answered the phone was professional and helpful BUT…read more(1) Called to schedule ahead for a ride to the airport in the early AM the following day. I booked for a time that gave 5-10 minutes of leeway time for me to be able to get to the airport and make check-in/my flight. I get a text about 10 minutes after my requested pick up time that their arrival would not be for another 24 minutes. I was already on the phone with them to cancel as I would miss my flight with the new pick up time. In retrospect, I should have given more time (15 -20 extra time) on my end but frankly I wanted to sleep as long as possible. (2) I was sent a confirmation text with a link confirming my order, however the link did not work. This was especially frustrating as I could not see the status of my order or any other information to confirm that they were coming. (3) Pricing was very high. I usually Uber to/from the airport but as anyone local knows that is hit or miss and for a early flight I figured it would be a miss. That being said the price was 2x what I usually pay for an Uber and more then parking at the airport for a week. I am honestly disappointed with the service after all the good reviews. I really wish there was a reliable airport transportation option in the quad cities.
